2025 NFL Mock Draft: Round 2

The Broncos have a weak secondary outside of Patrick Surtain. They failed to find a cornerback until the fifth round.

Daylen Everette has a ton of upside with a strong skill set.

Malik Nabers should be a great receiver for the Giants, but he’s not enough to satisfy the weakness at the position.

Tetaiora McMillan has mismatch size for the NFL, and he was very productive during the ’23 season.

The Cardinals lost so much pass-rushing talent in recent years, so they’ll have to find some help for their front seven.

J.T. Tuimoloau has flashed some great pass-rushing potential, but must be more consistent.

Hunter Henry is in his 30s, so the Patriots will want to get younger at tight end.

Colston Loveland made clutch catches during Michigan’s championship run. He projects as a decent blocker as well.

Byron Murphy was thought to be in consideration for the Bears’ No. 9 overall pick, so Chicago could take another defensive tackle with this pick.

Ty Hamilton has quickness and athleticism to emerge as a starter in the pros.

DeAndre Hopkins won’t be around much longer, while Calvin Ridley hasn’t been welcome in any locker room yet. Tennessee could be searching for a receiver with this pick.

Kaden Prather is a huge receiver who runs well for his size.

The Texans lost a number of skilled linebackers in free agency, so they’ll have to rebuild the position.

Jamon Dumas-Johnson is an instinctive linebacker with a strong skill set.

The Seahawks have to find a quarterback for the future at some point.

Jalen Milroe has a big arm and great athleticism.

The Saints drafted Taliese Fuaga, but he wasn’t enough to satisfy the team’s dire need at tackle.

Anthony Belton is a massive tackle, but has enough quickness and athleticism to remain on the edge.

The Buccaneers drafted Graham Barton, but they still need at least one more upgrade on the offensive line.

Tyler Booker isn’t an elite athlete, but he has incredible length.

Jahan Dotson struggled in his second year, while Curtis Samuel departed this past offseason. Some receiver help is needed.

Emeka Egbuka was a big-time producer with C.J. Stroud during the ’22 season.

The Colts seemingly have a million tight ends on their roster, but none of them are very good.

David Bailey needs to add some bulk, but he’s a talented edge rusher.

The Dolphins need to continue to add to their front seven, which took some hits in free agency.

Barrett Carter makes splash plays and has nice upside.

The Jets sruggled against the run last year, so they may want to obtain a better nose tackle.

Tim Keenan is a huge run defender with upside.

Consecutive offensive line picks for the Ravens, who really need to fix their blocking.

Donovan Jackson is a tough blocker with upside.

Joe Mixon is just a temporary solution at running back. A long-term answer is needed.

Roydell Williams is a quick back with a strong build.

Giving a young quarterback and a dynamic running back more offensive line help is never a bad thing.

Tate Ratledge’s run blocking is ahead of his pass protection right now.

There was some speculation that the Lions could draft a guard this past spring. They did, but waited until the late rounds to do so.

Jack Nelson started at left tackle for Wisconsin. He could continue to play tackle, or perhaps move inside to guard in the NFL.

Buffalo doesn’t have the best linebacker depth, which will be a problem if Matt Milano gets hurt again.

Smael Mondon Jr. has speed and athleticism to go with a good skill set.

The Bengals signed Zack Moss, but he’s not a long-term answer at running back.

Nicholas Singleton is a dynamic back who can go the distance whenever he touches the ball.

The Eagles have two star receivers, but they could stand to add depth at the position.

Another defensive lineman for the 49ers, who will likely want to strengthen this area after not addressing it in 2024.

Jahfari Harvey is a developed pass rusher with quality athleticism.
