Round 1

1. Browns: Myles Garrett, Defensive End, Texas A&M

The Browns need a Quarterback but reports are they may wait to select one at a later pick or could trade their second rounder to New England for Jimmy Garoppolo. So they select the top defensive player in the draft named Myles Garrett.

2. Redskins: Jonathan Allen, Defensive Tackle, Alabama

*TRADE* (49ers acquire QB Kirk Cousins and the 81st overall pick/ Redskins acquire the 2nd overall pick.) This trade makes too much sense for both sides, the Redskins don't want to pay Cousins and the 49ers want to make a splash to get some excitement for their down ridden franchise, so they make the big trade to reunite Cousins and Shanahan. The Redskins are rumored to be targeting Calais Campbell in Free Agency but that shouldn't stop them from targeting the next best defensive player in Jonathan Allen to line up with him.

3. Bears: Mitch Trubisky, Quarterback, North Carolina

The Bears are moving on from Quarterback Jay Cutler in some shape or form this offseason so they need a new franchise Quarterback for the fan base and team to rally around, so they go with Mitch Trubisky here.

4. Jaguars: Solomon Thomas, Defensive End, Stanford

The Jaguars can go anywhere with this pick but based off the fact that they just released Jared Odrick and new head honcho Tom Coughlin's draft history, they go with Solomon Thomas who can play anywhere on the defensive line and linebacker.

5. Panthers: Leonard Fournette, Running Back, LSU

*TRADE* (Titans acquire the 8th overall pick and the 72nd overall pick.) The Panthers leap frog the Jets and select the top running back in the draft; Leonard Fournette.

6. Jets: Marlon Humphrey, Cornerback, Alabama

With Fournette being off the board, the Jets turn their attention to the secondary which will soon must likely be without all-pro corner Darrelle Revis, who recently had some off the field law trouble. They choose to select Humphrey here over Lattimore at 6th overall.

7. Chargers: Jamal Adams, Strong Safety, LSU

The Chargers rush the podium with Adams still on the board to replace former longtime safety Eric Weddle, who they lost last offseason.

8. Titans: Malik Hooker, Free Safety, Ohio State

Even after trading down a few spots and still being able to select one of the top safety's of the draft is victory for the Titans, who need all the help they can get for their weak secondary.

9. Bengals: Reuben Foster, Inside Linebacker, Alabama

The Bengals are looking to add some athleticism to their defense and for someone who can grow with outside linebacker Vontaze Burfict, who better than Foster at this pick?

10. Bills: Marshon Lattimore, Cornerback, Ohio State

If Buffalo brings back QB Tyrod Taylor, then they can focus on addressing their cornerback position which could see Stephen Gilmore leave in free agency.

11. Saints: Sidney Jones, Cornerback, Washington

They could address their defensive line here but since they drafted Rankins last year and then Kikaha the year before... they address the cornerback position with this pick.

12. Patriots: Derek Barnett, Defensive End, Tennessee

*TRADE* (Browns acquire QB Jimmy Garoppolo/ Patriots acquire the 12th overall pick)
When news broke that the Pats were willing to trade Tom Brady's backup, QB needy teams like the Browns were said to be only willing to give up a second rounder for Garoppolo but now it is being reported that the Patriots may have changed their minds and are now willing to keep their young quarterback... I believe they are trying to drive up his price tag and I also think it will work... The Browns will budge and trade their 12th pick for a potential franchise quarterback in Jimmy G. The Patriots turn around and use this pick to address their defense.

13. Cardinals: DeShone Kizer, Quarterback, Notre Dame

The Cardinals brass has made no secret that they need to find a replacement for QB Carson Palmer, especially after he teased with the idea of retiring this year. So with Kizer still on the board, it would be a no brainer to go with the QB from Notre Dame here to groom for a season and become the franchise QB next season.

14. Colts: Jalen Tabor, Cornerback, Florida

The Colts have so many needs but with a secondary that rank towards the bottom of the league, they select the corner out of Florida to help upgrade that unit.

15. Eagles: Dalvin Cook, Running Back, Florida State

The Eagles could go with FSU HB Cook here or Clemson's Mike Williams, it doesn't really matter who it is because they just need to add weapons for young franchise QB Carson Wentz.

16. Ravens: Mike Williams, Wide Receiver, Clemson

The Ravens have been projected to go defense in a lot of early mocks and that may be the case but if the draft process falls the way it has here and Williams is still on the board, it would be in true Ozzie Newsome fashion to select him here.
