Round 1

1. Browns: Baker Mayfield, Quarterback, Oklahoma

Browns take their top rated QB. Signing C. Hyde drops RB down as a critical need. New front office has a history of taking RB in RD3 or beyond. The 2018 QB class is incredibly close on talent and value. B. Mayfield has risen to the top of the 2018 draft. Even with the T. Taylor trade, they draft a QB @ #1.

2. Giants: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, Penn State

They really like the chance to draft a player with HOF potential. He is being compared to M. Faulk. Game changing prospect for the Giants. Possible they trade down as well, but their new front office will usually stay with their pick. They may like D. Webb more than this years QB draft class.
Eli plays a few more years in the big apple.

*pick change* B. Chubb

3. Jets: Sam Darnold, Quarterback, USC

Possible he goes higher... strong upside so the Jets make their move. This years QB class will be fluid leading up to draft day. The Jets trade their 2018 #6, 2018 RD2, 2018 RD2 via seahawks, and a 2019 RD2 to the Colts.

VIA Colts.

4. Bills: Josh Allen, Quarterback, Wyoming

They grab their future QB and hope he becomes a steal. They trade their 2018 # 21 pick and LT C. Glenn to the Bengals. They receive the Bengals 2018 # 12 pick. They trade the 2018 #12 via Bengals, their 2018 RD2 pick, & their 2019 RD1 2019 RD3 picks to the Browns. They wait till draft day and jump ahead of the Broncos.

VIA Texans/Browns.

5. Broncos: Derwin James, Safety, Florida State

OT/OG later rounds. They have C. Kelly waiting in the wings. C. Keenum was just signed and will be their bridge QB till C. Kelly or P. Lynch is ready. Broncos grab the athletic SS/FS D. James. Some scouts say he has enough speed to even play the CB position. Combine was impressive.

6. Colts: Bradley Chubb, Defensive End, N.C. State

Colts are amazed their top ranked player has dropped to #6. They jump at the chance to trade down and still grab a superstar DE. Great pick for the Colts. They trade the 2018 # 3 to the Jets. Jets give up 2018 #6 2018 RD2, 2018 RD2 via seahawks, 2019 RD2.

VIA Jets.

*pick change* S. Barkley

7. Buccaneers: Quenton Nelson, Offensive Guard, Notre Dame

The Bucs get lucky and the top OG/OT falls to them. Great prospect many feel is top 3 in this years draft. Size to play OT if needed. Great pick for Tampa.

8. Saints: Josh Rosen, Quarterback, UCLA

Brees will tame him down and coach him up. Other teams will be talking to the 49ers so the Saints make their move & trade their 2018 #27 & 2018 RD4. 2019 RD1,RD2. 2020 RD3 picks to the Bears.

9. 49ers: Minkah Fitzpatrick, Safety, Alabama

49ers run to the podium to grab a dynamic FS @#9. J. Lynch loves his football IQ and work ethic. Perfect pick for the young team they are building.

10. Raiders: Roquan Smith, Outside Linebacker, Georgia

J. Gruden gets his new grinder in the middle. They love his versatility and nose for the football. His shoulder has been cleared and he has great value.

11. Dolphins: Lamar Jackson, Quarterback, Louisville

Big time player for the Dolphins. Scouting report showed his receivers dropped nearly 9% of his passes. His accuracy is better than his statistics showed. Slower ball speed ( 49 mph ) was exactly the same as D. Watson threw last year. They are very similar in skillset. R. Tannehill is average at best.

12. Browns: Tremaine Edmunds, Outside Linebacker, Virginia Tech

The Browns can't resist and get a big offer on draft day. They trade down with a QB needy team. They receive the 2018 #12, 2018 RD2. 2019 RD1 & RD3 picks from the Bills. They grab a athletic LB that makes plays all over the field. They play 4-3, 3-4, and even 2-2 on defense. Being compared to A. Barr so he has great speed and versatility.

VIA Cincy/Via Bills.

13. Redskins: Will Hernandez, Offensive Guard, UTEP

Big combine gets him into RD1. His strength is incredible. Not that far behind Q. Nelson on his skillset so the Skins grab a potential all-pro steal. Interior pass protection has become a more critical need for the pass happy NFL. OG is becoming a more sought after position for many teams.

14. Packers: Denzel Ward, Cornerback, Ohio State

Pack needs help all over. They grab the top rated CB in the 2018 draft.

15. Cardinals: Mike McGlinchey, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

Cards stay put and grab the top OT on the board.

16. Ravens: Courtland Sutton, Wide Receiver, SMU

His combine has him rising up boards. Tons of great tape. He has passed all the WR`s in this years draft. Great pick for the Ravens.
