In my last post which was in january I said that I would keep Hue and sign a OC. And everyone hated it. It's fine but this post is about what I would do with the roster. These are some moves that I believe would make the Browns much better now and in the future. Let me know what you think and thanks for reading.

Free Agency/Trades:

  • Trade Danny Shelton and 4th Round pick for Tyrod Taylor.
  • Larry Ogunjobi makes Shelton a bit redundant. Also after trading away Marcell Dareus the Bills have a huge hole at tackle. Tyrod is my perfect bridge QB and I will explain how he fits later.
  • Sign Allen Robinson or Sammy Watkins and move Corey Coleman to the slot. One of these with Flash makes a great Duo and moving Coleman to the slot allows you to better use his speed (i.e Nelson Agholor).
  • Sign Cody Davis (Rams) as a Veteran Backup FS
  • Sign or draft a backup tackle or a starter if Joe leaves, I really like Chris Hubbard from the Steelers. Draft
  • #1 - Whichever QB Dorsey and his team like. I like Mayfield but whoever they chose i'm fine with.
  • #4 - Saquon Barkley, he and Tyrod would make a good offensive for this year and he is just a great playmaker that the browns need disparately.
  • Trade #33, #64, and a 7th to trade back up in the back half of the first round. Draft Isaiah oliver or if Josh Jackson falls a little bit.
  • #35 - Justin Reid FS (Stanford), Peppers is not a free safety and I personally don't want to overpay Lamarcus Joyner.
  • I havent done enough research to make any picks into the 3rd round but I would draft a linebacker to develop.

My Roster for next year

  • QB - Tyrod Taylor, Baker Mayfield, Deshone Kizer
  • RB - Saquon Barkley, Duke Johnson, Matt Dayes
  • WR - Allen Robinson, Josh Gordon, Corey Coleman, Rashard Higgins, late round WR
  • TE - David Njoku, Seth Devalve, Rendall Telfer
  • OL - Hopefully Joe Thomas, if not Chris Hubbard, Zeitler and Bitono at guard,Tretter at center. If JT stays then Hubbard at RT if not then Shon Coleman.
  • DT - Ogunjobi, Brantley, Coley and Meder
  • RE - Garrett, Orchard
  • LE - Ogbah, Nassib and late round pass rusher
  • Linebackers - Collins, Schobert, Kirksey. They do really need to draft or sign someone who is better in coverage for passing downs.
  • CB - Mccourty and Oliver on the outside. I would keep Boddy Calhoun in the slot as he is really good there.
  • FS - Justin Reid, Cody Davis
  • SS- Jabrill Peppers and Kindred
