-- 0: Despite losing two in a row, I still think the Chiefs are the best team in the NFL.
-- 0: Perhaps the most composed and well-rounded team, I just give the top spot still to the Chiefs because they own the head-to-head and are more experienced.
-- 0: Coming into the offense they were supposed to have while maintaining a surprisingly ferocious defense.
-- 0: Here we go again.
^^ +2: I think the Cowboys see the writing on the wall with Zeke's suspension: he'll play this season out, so the distractions are gone and the players are all in.
^^^ +3: Cautiously optimistic after a more complete game than we've seen all year.
vv -2: Sad to move down on the bye week but Seattle and Dallas earned it.
^^^ +3: This sure seems like a division Minnesota can win with just field goals.
vvv -3: Atlanta has too much talent for this.
^^^^^^ +6: I still don't trust it but I can't ignore a five-game win streak with dominant ground game and defense.
^^ +2: Washington hung in there with Philly but they needed to win the game. Instead they just lost players.
-- 0: The Lions should be glad they got to sit this weird-ass week out.
^^ +2: The Rams made London their home just like the Jags did.
vvvvvv -6: Offensive woes are back.
^^^ +3: The offense is maybe back.
^ +1: Good to keep winning but that was an ugly one.
vvvvvvv -7: *sigh* why? I have very little faith in this staff to turn around this nosedive. This is the first time in the 4 years I've been doing these rankings that the Broncos are in the lower half of the league.
^^^ +3: They proved this week that it's not just about Fournette. It's real. The Jaguars Don't Suck.
-- 0: I wish I could move them up for that but everything the Chargers got, the Broncos gifted to them. Let's see them against a team that knows what an Offensive Tackle is.
vvvv -4: It should not take overtime to beat the Browns.
^^ +2: That first half looked good! And then the rest looked like the Steelers running away with the division.
vv -2: Like I said, Brett Hundley.
^ +1: Matt Moore makes this team more likable with little or no drop-off in play.
^^^ +3: Why???? How???? Fuck!! Imagine if this team could complete more than 5 passes a game. They might even be good!
-- 0: Oh and now they don't have Mike Wallace.
-- 0: If they had won, they would have jumped the Dolphins in the rankings. But they didn't.
^^^^ +4: Might seem weird to boost the Giants after that loss but they stayed strong on defense, which is what they were supposed to do this season.
vvvvvv -6: Funny how you can't just run AP all over a team that saw that AP can still run already.
v -1: Tampa could have had a surprising win on the road, just what their season needed to get back on track. Coulda, woulda, shoulda.
-- 0: Honestly this was probably less painful than the lose-by-an-excruciatingly-close-margin tour the Niners were going on before. Still, it feels bad to be this close to midseason with no wins.
vv -2: The third-longest shutout streak in the league's history ended because Indianapolis couldn't keep the Jags from getting to Jacoby Brissett more than 10 times. Chuck Pagano may have the hottest seat at this point in the season.
-- 0: The Browns are 1-22 since hiring Hue Jackson. The last 1-22 run was by the 2008-9 Lions. It came under two different coaching staffs. Just sayin'.
