-- 0: Last week the defense has issues, this week the offense does, but they came out of it 1-1 with a +9 point margin. Still on a crash course for the playoffs but certainly close to slipping below the next several teams rankings-wise.
-- 0: Just give it one more week. If the Eagles can block Von and friends, and if Jay Ajayi proves complementary to Blount, Philly is moving up. Get excited.
-- 0: The Steelers have gone from "every week something is bad enough to lose" to "every week something is good enough to win" and there are few teams left on their schedule who appear prepared to disrupt that.
-- 0: The unbearable inevitability of time marches on.
^ +1: It's less a matter of winning the most amazing game in a year, and more a matter of acquiring a left tackle who's actually worth a damn.
^^^ +3: The Saints have now utilized a run-a-lot-and-play-solid-defense play style for like 6 weeks, and I still feel like someone's about to pull the rug out from underneath all of it.
-- 0: Trailing the Browns at halftime isn't fun but the Vikings pulled through, and the game was in London so we can give them a pass.
^^^^^^^ +7: I've been conservative in my hype for the Bills, but it's been half a season and they look great and just acquired Kelvin Benjamin(????) so...
^^^^^ +5: The Panthers get their shot at being a top-10 team, but I'm still not too sold on them. We'll see how the no-Kelvin-Benjamin experiment goes.
^^ +2: Must be nice to move up two spots on a bye week. The Rams are waiting in the wings for a top-10 team to fuck up.
^^^ +3: I mean, I guess they won, that's something.
vvvvvvvv -8: Am I overreacting to the suspension? I guess we'll find out.
vvv -3: The Washington team is not really bad at all, but the injuries and the losses keep piling up. A brutal schedule might keep a decent team from being in the playoff picture for long. Couldn't happen to a less-nice team.
^^ +2: Crappy loss but I think we have a clearer path forward now. I mean, Brock did lead the Texans to the playoff. Or, followed them there may be more accurate.
vvvv -4: Poor Lions. The defense stepped up but they just could not find pay dirt.
vv -2: Inept.
-- 0: The Jags traded for another horse on defense, but not for a QB. What the hell?
-- 0: Some boneheaded shit went down against the Pats, keeping the Chargers from feeling the sting of a close loss and making it more like the throbbing numbness of one that wasn't truly that competitive.
-- 0: A rest week should do the Titans good, but they'd better come out of it fresh and not flat. They still have a good shot at this division.
^^^^ +4: That's one way to win a game I guess. Better hope Flacco is ready because based on their position in the rankings, the Ravens-Titans game in week 9 will come down to the wire.
-- 0: Is one week off enough time to make this roster competitive under Brett Hundley? I doubt it.
-- 0: No points, no QB, no Jay Ajayi, and no hope. And yet still somehow 4-3.
vvv -3: The Bengals beat the Colts on a technicality, so that's where they're at. Wasting AJ Green's career.
v -1: The Bears did all they could to stay in it but it's like doggy-paddling through a hurricane. You're just not gonna make it.
-- 0: Such a Jets-y game, amirite?
-- 0: If anyone would lose on a bye week it's these fuckers. Notice how they didn't trade for any receivers.
-- 0: A bye week is just another week for Larry Fitzgerald to get older without playing a football game.
-- 0: 3 points for a team with so many weapons is low-key inexcusable.
-- 0: It's gonna take awhile for the result to come in from this Garoppolo trade.
-- 0: So close to a meaningless win, but in the end Indy should be glad they failed. They need to restock so bad. Do not play Luck this season, Colts. Just don't do it.
-- 0: The Browns apparently tried to trade for AJ McCarron but missed the deadline. And Josh Rosen said he's willing to stay in school another year to avoid them. So things are going well.
