Utah State at BYU. Line: BYU by 21. Friday, 10:30 p.m.
As a disclaimer, don't go nuts with my college football picks. I'm much better at picking NFL games (at least I used to be). Follow @walterfootball for updates.
There are three teams I like this week coming off a bye. All of them are very good, and all have easier matchups. BYU is first. Utah State is done without its quarterback, while the Cougars have been stellar this year.
College Football Pick: BYU -21 (2 Units) -- Incorrect; -$220
SMU at East Carolina. Line: East Carolina by 40.5. Saturday, 12:00 p.m.
East Carolina is the second team. This may seem like a huge spread, but consider that SMU has scored just 12 points all year. East Carolina is a very good team that beat virginia Tech, so it could actually have this covered by halftime.

College Football Pick: East Carolina -40.5 (3 Units) -- Incorrect; -$330
N.C. State at Clemson. Line: Clemson by 14. Saturday, 3:30 p.m.
Clemson is not coming off a bye, but I like them to cover against N.C. State. The Wolfpack gave Florida State everything it could handle last week, but it'll be flat as a consequence in this game. I like how the Tigers responded last week versus North Carolina. They should be able to cover this spread.
College Football Pick: Clemson -14 (2 Units) -- Correct; +$200
Oregon State at Colorado. Line: Oregon State by 7. Saturday, 4:00 p.m.
The sharps have bet the home dog down, and it's easy to see why. Colorado has been a competitive team this year, while overrated Oregon State was exposed in last week's blowout against USC.
College Football Pick: Colorado +7 (3 Units) -- Correct; +$300
Kent State at Northern Illinois. Line: Northern Illinois by 24. Saturday, 5:00 p.m.
Northern Illinois is the third team in the bye dynamic. Kent State has been outscored 111-13 in its previous two games. Northern Illinois has beaten its non-Arkansas opponents pretty soundly.
