Debaclation Nation

Welcome to the new Debaclation Nation, a fancy title for this Web site's new poll center.
Each Wednesday, I'll post an interesting (or boring) Debaclation Nation poll so you can vote and argue over it. I'll keep the Debaclation Nation polls archived, so you can go back and keep arguing or see who was right. Terrelle Pryor had a press conference yesterday. Drew Rosenhaus said he'd be a first-round pick in the supplemental draft. Where will he be selected? June 15 |

Terrelle Pryor will be taken in which round of the supplemental draft?

4th Round, maybe 3rd. I think he goes to the Redskins, mostly because of Dan Snyder

@Wharthog even though the average round players are picked in the Supplemental draft is 4.9, I doubt Pryor goes that low. Five QBs have been drafted in the history of the Supplemental draft. Each was drafted in the first round. Will he go in the first? Probably not. But there is no way he goes in the seventh like you suggested. 2nd or 3rd is my guess.

With all the talk of him being 4th round, somebody may jump the gun and throw a 3rd round pick for him.

@ AngryBroncoFan. Despite your ignorance, there are pearls of wisdom in your statement. Round 6 at best for a team with plenty of draft picks next season.

Supplemental draft players typically don't go higher than 4 or 5 because of the matching draft pick you have to give up. I can't see anyone jumping higher than 7 unless they just don't have the homework done on Pryor's head issues.

No one will pick him and he'll end up an unsigned free agent for a team. i think this is due more to the flux that is NFL free agency and salary situations right now. would a team rather wait and pick up a mcnabb or vince young to be a stop gap or back up rather than pryor? of course, but we don't know until the CBA is finished who is going where. Pryor should do a year in the CFL while the NFL is locked out, make some money and then go to the NFL. No shame in that for a physically gifted but less than polished talent who has not done well passing wise when facing good defenses.

Terrele Pyror would of went 4-5 round even if he played college footbLL, NOW HE WILL GO 6TH round to a desperate team looking for a project, or maybe Bill Belicheck so he can dish him off to Oakland.

Pryor just doesn't have it upstairs. He is from my state and I read about him getting into it after state basketball playoff games with other teams student sections, after his team won. He just doesn't have it, well other than a sense of entitlement.

Just given his talent/issues combination, Pryor is probably a fourth or a fifth rounder. However, I fully expect Miami, Washington, and Buffalo to all be in the mix here, and that will drive up his price to a 3rd round pick. I don't think any team will go tripping head over heels for him, which is why I feel that a 3rd rounder is his peak.

This has a Dan Synder in the 2nd round feel to it. A huuuuge name, and given the John beck or Sexy Rexy at QB, Synder may have to!
