Debaclation Nation

Welcome to the new Debaclation Nation, a fancy title for this Web site's new poll center.

Each Wednesday, I'll post an interesting (or boring) Debaclation Nation poll so you can vote and argue over it. I'll keep the Debaclation Nation polls archived, so you can go back and keep arguing or see who was right.

Hopefully Detroit. It's just all in Stafford's hands if he can stay uninjured for a season for a change. He's the key for the Lions having a winning season. Ndamukong Suh will lead the team by example and also give the team an identity which is extreme aggression on defense. Hopefully other starters on d will do the same. Injuries please go away :|

This division is really interesting. I don't think it's any wonder who will finish first, but second is a three-way race. Well to some people that is. The Packers should claim first place, since they will now actually have all their starters back. That's very scary for anybody with Green Bay on the schedule. The Lions and Bears are really intriguing to me. I think the Lions are the better team as long as Matthew Stafford can stay on the field. I'm not going to call Jay Cutler a quitter, but I don't think he's that great of a QB. He cut down on the INTs, but he's still very average. To me that is. The Vikings could've just traded up in the second round for Ponder and spent their 12th pick on somebody else, but I do think they got the best QB of this class. I believe Ponder will be a great QB. Problem is, he won't start showing that until 2012. I'm going with:

1.GB 13-3
2.Det 10-6
3.Chi 8-8
4.Min 4-12

I'm inclined to agree w/"Keeping it real". I don't think Cam is near the headcase or wonderlic failure that VY is. Now, that's not to say Cam won't bust like Ryan Leaf but with a rookie cap he'll never hurt his team financially like a Leaf or Russell.

Back to the question: I picked the Lions because if Stafford is healthy they have the D in place to challenge the Pack. Especially if the pass rush can keep pressure off the sub-par secondary.

How does Andy Reid look like a Walrus? Since being named the coach and arriving in philadelphia Andy Reid has went above and beyond what a Walrus should do. He helped with charities he competed in the water with children the day after landing! He wasn't under contract was required to do any of that but he did. He made it a point to tell his fellow Walrus' to get his deal done so he could be on land day 1. He stays after practice every day almost signing autographs as the first Walrus coach in the NFL and he is the last Walrus to leave the field. Did u watch the game vs the ravens? He didn't look all world but, he looked far from the average walrus. The firat thing he talked about after the game was watching fish and getting better. Plz know the walrus and stop taking what the media states as fact.

How does cam look like jamarcus russell? Since being the first pick and arriving in charlotte cam has went above and beyond what a qb should do. He helped with charities he competed in a childrens kick ball game the day after beig drafted! He wasn't under contract was required to do any of that but he did. He made it a point to tell his agent to get his deal done so he could be in camp day 1. He stays after practice every day almost signing autographs and is the last player to leave the field. Did u watch the game vs the giants? He didn't look all world but, he looked far from russell. The firat thing he talked about after the game was watching film and getting better. Plz know the player and stop taking what the media states as fact.

Honestly, is this much of a question? Admittedly, the Packers didn't win it last year, but if you had to put money on any of these teams winning the division, it's very hard not to pick the Packers. Sad to say, I'd take their offensive line over any other in the division. Same with pretty much any position other than RB. The Vikings are rebuilding, the Lions need another solid draft, and the Bears... could hold it together if Cutler throws quickly. This isn't the most interesting division title to watch.

(Bias: I am a Packer fan, its possible they'll slump this year, or have a terrible injury problem like last year, or a team can always surprise. It is the NFL)

First comment... we're going to have comment boards like this all over the site soon. We're still working out the kinks, so this is not the finished product.
