Charlie Campbell's 2012 NFL Mock Re-Draft: Round Four
Last update: Saturday, April 28, 2012.
This is a 2012 NFL Mock Re-Draft of Rounds 4 and 5 for Saturday's NFL Draft coverage. With all of the trades that will go down, I don't expect to get many of these right, but it's still fun to speculate where the top prospects will go on Day 3 of the 2012 NFL Draft.

The Redskins need tackle help, and Massie is a great fit for their offense.
Pick change; previously Donald Stephenson, OT -
San Diego Chargers: Zebrie Sanders, OT, Florida State

New York Giants: Omar Bolden, CB, Arizona State
The Giants could use more depth at corner and hosted Bolden on a pre-draft visit. -
Green Bay Packers: Markelle Martin, S, Oklahoma State
The Packers released Nick Collins, so they grab a quality safety to replace him. -
Green Bay Packers: Gino Gradkowski, G/C, Delaware
The Packers lost Scott Wells in free agency and Jeff Saturday is just a short-term fill in. Green Bay likes Gradkowski and has hosted him on a visit. -
Minnesota Vikings: Shaun Prater, CB, Iowa
The Vikings get some secondary help as Prater would be a great scheme fit. -
Dallas Cowboys: Ronnell Lewis, OLB/DE, Oklahoma
I can't fathom how Ronnell Lewis has made it to the third day, and he could be a big time steal.

I love what you've got the Colts doing. Broyles is going to be productive at the NFL level. He has soft hands and runs good routes; I expect good chemistry between Broyles and Manning. I also like Barron, he's definetly my favorite strong safety prospect for Indy. He's big, which is good, and can be brought up to speed on the coverage aspects by Bethea, who is one of the best cover safeties in the league. A defensive backfield rotation of Bullit, Bethea, Lefedge, and Barron is impressive.

miami picking 5th seriously? talk about buying into the negative portrayal of the fins by the media. Obviously you know a little bit about their roster so how can you have them picking in the top ten? worst case would be in the low teens. the defense was ranked 6th last year and it is upgraded by Kevin Burnett and it is incredibly young so it cannot be underestimated how much another year of development and continuity under Mike Nolan will help. The offense will be its weaker unit but Chad Henne cannot possibly play worse than last season, besides which they added a new OC, Reggie Bush, and invested 4 draft picks into the offense including Mike Pouncey and Daniel Thomas. As you yourself stated, all they need is improved QB play. Well Henne managed enough to win 7 games last year and he is bound to be a little better so it is unfathomable to me that you have miami picking that low. can you honestly look at the talent on the rosters and say that the Titans, Vikings, Redskins, and, unbelievably, the Bills will all be better. If you can then you must not be an expert.

Just to inform you, the Lions have signed Stephen Tulloch and Justin Durant to upgrade their linebacker corps. Those two with DeAndre Levy will get give them a very respectable unit plus Levy and Tulloch are complete players that will play in nickel. They are pretty much set at linebacker as long as they can resign Tulloch after his one year deal. So the only way they draft a LB is if they miss out on resigning Tulloch (unlikely) or they absolutely love one in the draft (definite possibility). CB and Oline are the biggest needs on a team that is going to be pushing for the playoffs.

Jayron Hosley would complete the Lions defense. Andrew Datko and hopefully a few more OL would go a long ways to improve protecion for Stafford

Please. the NFL does not owe WF anything. Highly doubt this is real. If you mean talking to other media outlets who cover the team, fine. but league sources do not talk to WF

Two wide receivers for the Patriots... how many wide receivers can they fit on their team. If they draft two more, assuming they cut special team stud Matthew Slater, they would have 8 on their roster last year. Come on man.

You do realize the Howard Mudd is now the OL coach. He preferes smaller, quicker linemen that can get blocks up the field. I highly doubt a 6-6 347 fits the bill.

New guy uses fabulous a lot. Not that there's anything wrong with that. What happened to Cox and McGuire? And the others preceding? Does Walt draft a new guy every offseason? Maybe his Tebow-Elway theory applies...

Sorry...but how in the world can any "expert" have the Seahawks taking a CB over a QB in round one of the NFL draft...especially with Landry Jones on the board? Seriously...this has got to be on par with the Raiders drafting DHB. Seattle believes they have their CBs in place (Trufant, Thurmond, Browner) and has spent the last 18 months building their offense to draft a QB in April. PATHETIC!

The Bills will have the #1 pick overall, they'll go 1-15, because for one thing, they should and if they keep losing the 1st or 2nd overall pick they lose amazing players, if they lose the Andrew Luck sweepstakes, they're screwed for the net ten years.
