2012 Fantasy Football: Start Em, Sit Em
2012 Fantasy Football: Start Em, Sit Em: Week 17
Rather than quickly listing start em and sit em players on my Week 17 NFL Picks page, I thought I'd devote a new page for this. Follow @walterfootball for updates.
Bills at Jets
Start Em:
Shonn Greene has three touchdowns in his previous three games. He battles the Bills, who are 30th against the rush.
BUF: RB C.J. Spiller, Bills Defense.
NYJ: Jets Defense.
Sit Em:
Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings - To be posted Wednesday
Ravens at Bengals
Start Em:
BAL: None.
CIN: None.
Sit Em:
This game means nothing to both teams. The starters will likely see little or no action.
Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings - To be posted Wednesday
Browns at Steelers
Start Em:
CLE: RB Trent Richardson (if he plays).
PIT: WR Antonio Brown, Steelers Defense.
Sit Em:
Thad Lewis may start at quarterback for the Browns.
Mike Wallace could be out with a hip injury.
Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings - To be posted Wednesday
Texans at Colts
Start Em:
HOU: QB Matt Schaub, RB Arian Foster, WR Andre Johnson, TE Owen Daniels, Texans Defense.
IND: None.
Sit Em:
Chuck Pagano said his starters will play, but for how long?
Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings - To be posted Wednesday
Jaguars at Titans
Start Em:
JAX: WR Justin Blackmon.
TEN: RB Chris Johnson.
Sit Em:
Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings - To be posted Wednesday
Eagles at Giants
Start Em:
QBDK is playing for a new contract, so he'll do whatever it takes.
Jeremy Maclin has played very well the past three weeks, catching 21 passes for 293 yards and two touchdowns.
PHI: RB LeSean McCoy, Eagles Defense.
NYG: WR Victor Cruz, Giants Defense.
Sit Em:
Hakeem Nicks told the media that he may not play this week.
Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings - To be posted Wednesday
Bears at Lions
Start Em:
Mikel Leshoure sucks, but he keeps scoring touchdowns.
CHI: WR Brandon Marshall, Bears Defense.
DET: QB Matthew Stafford, WR Calvin Johnson.
Sit Em:
Matt Forte may not play with an ankle injury. Even if he does, he could be limited.
Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings - To be posted Wednesday
Buccaneers at Falcons
Start Em:
TB: RB Doug Martin, WR Vincent Jackson.
ATL: Falcons Defense.
Sit Em:
There's something terribly wrong with Josh Freeman.
Mike Smith said his starters will play Sunday, but for how long?
Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings - To be posted Wednesday
Panthers at Saints
Start Em:
CAR: QB Cam Newton, WR Steve Smith, TE Greg Olsen.
NO: QB Drew Brees, RB Darren Sproles, WR Marques Colston, TE Jimmy Graham.
Sit Em:
The Saints have actually been pretty solid against the run this month.
Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings - To be posted Wednesday
Dolphins at Patriots
Start Em:
Brandon Lloyd is now being utilized in the wake of Julian Edelman's injury.
MIA: Reggie Bush.
NE: QB Tom Brady, WR Wes Welker, TE Aaron Hernandez, TE Rob Gronkowski (if he plays).
Sit Em:
Brian Hartline has topped 49 yards just twice since Veterans' Day.
Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings - To be posted Wednesday
Packers at Vikings
Start Em:
Of the three Packer receivers, I'd want James Jones in my lineup the most. He leads the NFL in receiving touchdowns.
GB: QB Aaron Rodgers, Packers Defense.
MIN: RB Adrian Peterson.
Sit Em:
I refuse to trust Greg Jennings until he shows me that he can be consistent.
Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings - To be posted Wednesday
Chiefs at Broncos
Start Em:
KC: RB Jamaal Charles.
DEN: QB Peyton Manning, RB Knowshon Moreno, WR Demaryius Thomas, WR Eric Decker, Broncos Defense.
Sit Em:
Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings - To be posted Wednesday
Raiders at Chargers
Start Em:
OAK: None.
SD: WR Danario Alexander, Chargers Defense.
Sit Em:
Darren McFadden still doesn't look like the same running back. The Chargers are seventh against the run (3.9 YPC).
Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings - To be posted Wednesday
Cardinals at 49ers
Start Em:
Brian Hoyer is a quarterback who can actually get the ball to Larry Fitzgerald.
Colin Kaepernick is at least a low-end QB1 because of his rushing ability.
ARZ: None.
SF: RB Frank Gore, WR Michael Crabtree, 49ers Defense.
Sit Em:
Chris Wells doesn't appear to be 100 percent.
Vernon Davis may not play coming off a concussion. He hasn't done much anyway.
Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings - To be posted Wednesday
Rams at Seahawks
Start Em:
Ruskell Wilkens is my No. 6 quarterback this week. Check my fantasy weekly rankings for more.
STL: RB Steven Jackson, WR Danny Amendola.
SEA: RB Marshawn Lynch, Seahawks Defense.
Sit Em:
Last week was a fluke. Lance Kendricks is a desperation play.
Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings - To be posted Wednesday
Cowboys at Redskins
Start Em:
DAL: QB Tony Romo, RB DeMarco Murray, WR Dez Bryant, TE Jason Witten.
WAS: QB Robert Griffin, RB Alfred Morris, WR Pierre Garcon.

@Walt - Gerald McCoy will probably play this week. He was practicing today. Don't know if that changes your opinion but McCoy has been an absolute monster this year for Tampa. Probably team MVP so far.
