2012 Fantasy Football: Training Camp Fantasy Stock
With training camp underway soon (and OTAs ongoing), there will be updates daily to this 2012 Fantasy Football Training Camp Stock page if anything noteworthy happens.
If there's an injury or a player surprising/disappointing, I'll let you know about it and adjust my 2012 Fantasy Football Rankings accordingly. Follow me @walterfootball for updates.

2012 Fantasy Football Offseason Stock - Week of Aug. 13
AUG. 18
Dwayne Bowe, WR, Chiefs 
Dwayne Bowe has signed his franchise tender, concluding his holdout. Bowe is still at risk to have a down season because he has missed so much training camp time, but there's a better chance now that he'll have a solid campaign.
Rashard Mendenhall, RB, Steelers Rashard Mendenhall has been activated off the PUP. He's still not expected to suit up in September, but it's looking like he'll be available sooner than previously anticipated. He's once again worth a late-round flier.
Isaac Redman, RB, Steelers 
And another running back bites the dust. Isaac Redman has suffered multiple injuries, prompting the Steelers to prematurely activate Rashard Mendenhall off the PUP list. This means they could push Mendenhall to return sooner than anticipated. Redman's stock obviously takes a major hit in the wake of this news.
AUG. 16
Jahvid Best, RB, Lions Adam Schefter is reporting that Jahvid Best is likely to open the season on the PUP list, meaning he won't be eligible to play in the first six weeks of the season. This is obviously a devastating blow to his draft stock, making him nothing more than a late-round flier.
Santonio Holmes, WR, Jets Surprise, surprise, Santonio Holmes has suffered yet another injury. This time it's his back. Holmes reported to OTAs and training camp out of shape and is getting banged up because of it. Stay away from him in your fantasy draft.
Kevin Smith, RB, Lions Jahvid Best is likely to open the season on the PUP list, per Adam Schefter. Mikel Leshoure, coming off an injury of his own, has been suspended for two games. Kevin Smith, who looked great in the exhibition opener versus Cleveland, will start for Detroit.
Jason Witten, TE, Cowboys Jason Witten is out for the rest of the preseason and his status for the opener is now in doubt because of internal injuries he suffered during a tackle from Rolando McClain in the preseason opener. I'm only dropping Witten a little bit because he'll likely be back in Week 2 or 3.
AUG. 15
Roy Helu, RB, Redskins It's looking like Roy Helu will miss this week's preseason game with Achilles' tendinitis. This is definitely not helping Helu, who was already deemed too brittle to handle a full workload by his coaching staff. It appears as though Evan Royster will be the Redskins' starting running back this year.
Ronnie Hillman, RB, Broncos Ronnie Hillman re-injured his hamstring Tuesday. Hillman has already missed a week and a half with the same problem, so it's now tough to imagine him challenging for much playing time early in the season, especially considering how John Fox hates using rookies. Don't draft Hillman until the final couple of rounds, if at all.
Evan Royster, RB, Redskins Evan Royster will once again draw the start for the Redskins this weekend, as Roy Helu will likely be out with Achilles' tendinitis. Mike Shanahan doesn't think Helu can handle a full workload, so this will further convince him that he's right. Royster is the overwhelming favorite to be the starting running back.
AUG. 13
Cedric Benson, RB, Bengals The Packers signed Cedric Benson. He's not any good, but he's the favorite to handle all of the early-down work. At best, he's an RB3 in non-PPR leagues, but at least he's back in the NFL.
Alex Green, RB, Packers Green Bay added Cedric Benson to the roster, so the front office clearly doesn't have any confidence in Alex Green's ability to handle the early-down work. He'll be relegated to third-down duties.
James Starks, RB, Packers James Starks really struggled in the Packers' preseason opener. He also has turf toe. All of this prompted Green Bay to acquire Cedric Benson, which means Starks is no longer draftable in any format.

I think that is supposed to be an "arrow down" for Lynch.
I agree 100% on Santana Moss. Expect a Steve Smith-like rejuvenation of his career now that he has a good QB to throw the ball.

I live in Detroit and am a huge Lions fan and pretty much read everything i can get my hands on out of camp. while i like Titus as a player alot and expect a good season i have herd little to nothing of him ripping up camp thus far. Not that ive herd negative things just dont know where walts gettin this info

I was 18th in the league in targets last year, 1st among rookies. With a new QB and no new receivers, plus being in better shape, I could be the steal of the draft in a lot of fantasy leagues.
