You can check out my MFL10 Primer to see what I’m getting into here, but suffice it to say, you want to pick the players who will score as many fantasy points in 2016 as possible and you don’t have to worry about winning an arbitrary matchup each week.

After the 2016 NFL Draft Mr. John Paulsen of 4for4.com asked me to join in an MFL10 to celebrate the rookies finding homes. He had a host of top fantasy analysts join up, so below you can get a pretty good look at what some of the top fantasy footballers are thinking about the draft fallout.

Round 7:
Our first rookie receiver comes off the board in the seventh, with Corey Coleman going to Mike Clay. Coleman has refined ability and should be able to be the Browns No. 1 receiver from Day 1. It won't be a dynamic passing game, but a no-doubt No. 1 receiver in the seventh round should pay off... Andy Behrens bucked the late quarterback trend by grabbing Cam Newton in the fifth round and then Ben Roethlisberger in the seventh. Two quarterbacks who have top fantasy upsides, but with this being a one-quarterback league, the backup pick seems a bit early. But this is also a best-ball league, which takes the best fantasy game between the two each week and counts that game instead of you needing to choose the correct quarterback to start each week. That fact makes this strategy more palatable, but I feel the drop-off from Roethlisberger to someone like Philip Rivers or Eli Manning isn't big enough to not take a swing on a position where you need to hit on more than one starter each week... I ended up taking the second rookie wide receiver in this round with my pick of Sterling Shepard. I love his talent and think he steps into a major role early, and I love the Giants' offense with Ben McAdoo at the controls. Eli Manning has thrown over 600 passes in each of the last two seasons and also done some of his best work under McAdoo. This offense should be dynamic in the air... I most likely will skip T.J. Yeldon this season with Chris Ivory in the fold. I think Yeldon can be a competent back, but needs plenty of snaps to be a fantasy asset.

8.1296Mike Clay - ESPNBrees, Drew NOS QB

Round 8:
This is about where I feel okay grabbing a top quarterback if they are on the board still. Pat Fitzmaurice did just that with Andrew Luck with pick No. 85. I still think there is plenty of value to be had at the position, but Luck has one of those upsides that is hard to pass in the eighth round... My pick came down between Russell Wilson and Paul Perkins, and I regret going with the rookie running back here. I love the Giants' offense and think Perkins could shine, and my hope for him probably clouded the safer pick in Wilson... Bob Harris went with Willie Snead, who I've had high on my MFL10 list this season. The 2016 NFL Draft did throw some concerns for Snead in my plans, as Michael Thomas could take some targets away from him. Right now, I'm looking at both of them as good picks, but might wait just a little bit longer and take whichever of the two falls... Sigmund Bloom went for Ameer Abdullah, who makes for a nice post-hype sleeper this season. I do worry about the Lions trying to feed to many running backs in a pass-first offense, but Abdullah truly has the skill to shine, and I think that's worth a shot in the ninth round.

9.11107Bob Harris - Football DiehardsJennings, Rashad NYG RB
9.12108Pat Fitzmaurice -- SI.comSmith, Torrey SFO WR

Round 9:
When I saw Ladarius Green go, I worried a little that I had waited too long on a tight end. I love Green, but he's very much a boom-or-bust pick this year. There were plenty of tight ends left, but none that I felt safe picking. The good news is that Coby Fleener is out of town and Dwayne Allen just signed a new contract with the promise by the higher ups that he would be the main guy. Add in Andrew Luck, and I feel pretty good about Allen at 105th overall... I am starting to like the idea of grabbing Derrick Henry late. I think he'll see a decent amount of work even with DeMarco Murray in his way, and his ability could win out even if Murray stays healthy... Rashad Jennings is the safer running back to grab from the Giants. I don't see him getting the carries to be a Top-15 back, but he should be the lead back in an up-tempo offense...

10.11119Fantasy Douche - RotoVizBenjamin, Travis SDC WR
10.12120Mike Clay - ESPNThomas, Michael NOS WR (R)

Round 10:
I've often put Tavon Austin down due to his long stretches of no production then sudden bursts of big plays for touchdowns. But in best-ball leagues like this one, you don't have to worry much about the down games because another player should compensate for him and then when he goes off, those are the points you get. So Austin is actually fairly safe in a MFL10 as long as he's used similarly to last year... John Paulsen took Markus Wheaton in this round, which seems like a good spot for him, but I'm leaning toward grabbing Sammie Coates later in drafts where I can. I think, at the very least, he hurts Wheaton's production and at best, he wins the job outright... For some reason, I haven't honed in on Jerick McKinnon yet in MFL10s, but he's someone I want to make a better effort at taking. His ability is above-average, and he's actually a more complete back than Adrian Peterson in that he's better than him in the passing game and is also a strong runner. If Peterson goes down, McKinnon becomes a Top-5 back, and even if Peterson stays healthy, I expect to see McKinnon get more receiving work than he did last year... My pick of Steve Smith may be a bit too optimistic on his ability to recover quickly from a tough injury at the age of 58, but Smith is inhuman and if he's healthy enough, he's the Ravens No. 1 receiver.

11.11131Bob Harris - Football DiehardsBrady, Tom NEP QB
11.12132Pat Fitzmaurice -- SI.comEbron, Eric DET TE

Round 11:
Mr. Fantasy Douche grabbed Josh Gordon in the 11th, which at this point seems like a decent gamble. Your chances of getting an above-average fantasy receiver in the 11th round are slim and Gordon's upside is, well, really far up... Sigmund Bloom grabbed Martellus Bennett, which is risky, but the Patriots' offense could go back to the Aaron Hernandez two-tight end days - not the murdering part of those days. Much will depend on how well some of the non-Julian Edelman receiving options pan out, but we know Bennett is an above-average player and will do well with his chances... I went with Sammie Coates here. Like I said earlier, I think he has the ability to beat out Wheaton for the No. 2 spot in Pittsburgh... I actually was ready to take Keith Marshall, but Mr. Behrens scooped me. I like Marshall's shot at winning playing time sooner than later, as Matt Jones did not show well last season.

12.11143Fantasy Douche - RotoVizSanu, Mohamed ATL WR
12.12144Mike Clay - ESPNDrake, Kenyan MIA RB (R)

Round 12:
Round 12 is where you start taking fliers on risky or old or senile players, so I took my starting quarterback Eli Manning. Hopefully senility hasn't set in yet, as he has improved under McAdoo and has possibly the best receiver in the game to throw to. Then add in Sterling Shepard and I'm looking for a great season from him... Mike Clay grabbed Kenyan Drake, who is the main competition to Jay Ajayi at the moment. I think this is a good spot for him, as the coaching staff hasn't been committed to Ajayi and won't be adverse to playing whomever they thinks gives them the best chance to win... Arian Foster is another running back to take a flier on at this point. If he's healthy at the start of training camp, he'll be picked up by a running back-needy team and could easily bring some value to your teams.
