Chet Gresham's Week 10 Fantasy Football RB Rankings -Traditional

by Chet Gresham - on Twitter

To differentiate between all the "Start 'Ems" on Walt's Fantasy Football Start Em, Sit Em page, you can check out the Weekly Fantasy Football Rankings, so you can figure out whom to start between Player X and Player Y.

Below are my fantasy RB rankings and a set of links for my positional Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings. Keep in mind that this list is for this week only; not the entire rest of the season. If you don't like my rankings, check out Walter's fantasy football rankings.

The rankings are based on a Traditional scoring system. Each player has Walterfootball.com's projected stats and standard scoring points.

But who do I start...

Updated - Follow @ChetGresham for updates.
  1. Todd Gurley, RB, Rams (vs. Seahawks)
Seattle was able to hold Gurley to 3.5 yards per carry, but also gave up three touchdown runs to him. You just can't hold him down.

  2. Melvin Gordon, RB, Chargers (at Raiders)
The Raiders look like they've all given up, and the 130 rushing yards per game they've allowed doesn't refute that statement.

  3. Kareem Hunt, RB, Chiefs (vs. Cardinals)
Hunt has been a fantasy superstar this season, and he nows faces a Cardinals team that has allowed 132 rushing yards, 1.5 touchdowns and the most fantasy points per game to running backs.

  4. Alvin Kamara, RB, Saints (at Bengals)
The Bengals allow the fourth-most yards per carry and the seventh-most receptions and fantasy points to running backs. Kamara is built to beat the Bengals by himself.

  5. James Conner, RB, Steelers (vs. Panthers)
The Panthers get out to leads and opposing teams end up not running the ball, which shows in the 17 rushing attempts per game they've allowed. In their two losses though, Adrian Peterson, Tevin Coleman and Ito Smith had strong games, and I expect Conner to get enough work both on the ground and through the air to continue his strong play.

  6. Saquon Barkley, RB, Giants (at 49ers)
Barkley's usage in the receiving game keeps him a top play against any defense.

  7. David Johnson, RB, Cardinals (at Chiefs)
Johnson's usage saw a little uptick with new offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich, but after the bye, I expect Johnson to see more targets downfield and more plays to work him open in space in a great matchup, especially if he's used well in the passing game.

  8. Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Cowboys (at Eagles)
This is an awful matchup in Philadelphia for Elliott. With a good workload, he can put up strong numbers against anyone, but the Dallas offense isn't good right now.

  9. Christian McCaffrey, RB, Panthers (at Steelers)
McCaffrey has four touchdowns in his last two games after getting just one on the rest of the season. The Steelers are tough to run on, but McCaffrey has earned his top-10 status.

  10. Joe Mixon, RB, Bengals (vs. Saints)
Mixon has the ability to be a true every-down top back in this league, but the Bengals go away from him too often. I'm hoping after the bye they'll get him more involved, even when down by multiple scores.

  11. Aaron Jones, RB, Packers (vs. Dolphins)

  12. James White, RB, Patriots (at Titans)

  13. Adrian Peterson, RB, Redskins (at Buccaneers)

  14. Leonard Fournette, RB, Jaguars (at Colts)

  15. Tevin Coleman, RB, Falcons (at Browns)
Cleveland is much worse against the run than the pass, and I expect Coleman to build off his strong Week 9.

  16. Jordan Howard, RB, Bears (vs. Lions)

  17. Marlon Mack, RB, Colts (vs. Jaguars)

  18. Duke Johnson, RB, Browns (vs. Falcons)

  19. Dion Lewis, RB, Titans (vs. Patriots)

  20. Mike Davis, RB, Seahawks (at Rams)

  21. Nick Chubb, RB, Browns (vs. Falcons)
As long as Grady Jarrett is healthy, I'm not as high on Chubb as I would be if Jarrett were still injured. Overall, the Falcons have been weak defensively, but with Jarrett in there, they've been tough against between-the-tackles runners.I expect Duke Johnson to have the higher potential this week.

  22. Sony Michel, RB, Patriots (at Titans)

  23. Mark Ingram, RB, Saints (at Bengals)

  24. Kerryon Johnson, RB, Lions (at Bears)

  25. Tarik Cohen, RB, Bears (vs. Lions)

  26. Kenyan Drake, RB, Dolphins (at Packers)

  27. Isaiah Crowell, RB, Jets (vs. Bills)

  28. LeSean McCoy, RB, Bills (at Jets)

  29. Matt Breida, RB, 49ers (vs. Giants)

  30. Elijah McGuire, RB, Jets (vs. Bills)

  31. Austin Ekeler, RB, Chargers (at Raiders)

  32. Peyton Barber, RB, Buccaneers (vs. Redskins)

  33. Ito Smith, RB, Falcons (at Browns)

  34. Doug Martin, RB, Raiders (vs. Chargers)

  35. Jalen Richard, RB, Raiders (vs. Chargers)

  36. Derrick Henry, RB, Titans (vs. Patriots)

  37. Theo Riddick, RB, Lions (at Bears)

  38. Frank Gore, RB, Dolphins (at Packers)

  39. Jamaal Williams, RB, Packers (vs. Dolphins)

  40. Spencer Ware, RB, Chiefs (vs. Cardinals)

  41. Wendell Smallwood, RB, Eagles (vs. Cowboys)

  42. Alfred Morris, RB, 49ers (vs. Giants)

  43. Josh Adams, RB, Eagles (vs. Cowboys)

  44. LeGarrette Blount, RB, Lions (at Bears)

  45. Rashaad Penny, RB, Seahawks (at Rams)

  46. Corey Clement, RB, Eagles (vs. Cowboys)

  47. Nyheim Hines, RB, Colts (vs. Jaguars)

  48. Carlos Hyde, RB, Jaguars (at Colts)

  49. T.J. Yeldon, RB, Jaguars (at Colts)

  50. Kapri Bibbs, RB, Redskins (at Buccaneers)

  51. Giovani Bernard, RB, Bengals (vs. Saints)

  52. Kyle Juszczyk, RB, 49ers (vs. Giants)

  53. Jacquizz Rodgers, RB, Buccaneers (vs. Redskins)

  54. DeAndre Washington, RB, Raiders (vs. Chargers)

  55. C.J. Anderson, RB, Panthers (at Steelers)

  56. Malcolm Brown, RB, Rams (vs. Seahawks)

  57. Marcus Murphy, RB, Bills (at Jets)

  58. Kenjon Barner, RB, NE ()

  59. Rod Smith, RB, Cowboys (at Eagles)

  60. Chase Edmonds, RB, Cardinals (at Chiefs)

  61. Trenton Cannon, RB, Jets (vs. Bills)

  62. Patrick DiMarco, RB, Bills (at Jets)

  63. Anthony Sherman, RB, Chiefs (vs. Cardinals)

  64. Wayne Gallman, RB, Giants (at 49ers)

  65. Kalen Ballage, RB, Dolphins (at Packers)

  66. Jordan Wilkins, RB, Colts (vs. Jaguars)

  67. James Develin, RB, Patriots (at Titans)
