Chet Gresham's Week 17 Fantasy Football WR Rankings

To differentiate between all the "Start 'Ems" on Walt's Fantasy Football Start Em, Sit Em page, you can check out the Weekly Fantasy Football Rankings, so you can figure out whom to start between Player X and Player Y.

Below are my fantasy WR rankings and a set of links for my positional Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings. Keep in mind that this list is for this week only; not the entire rest of the season. If you don't like my rankings, check out Walter's fantasy football rankings.

The rankings are based on a PPR scoring system. Each player has Walterfootball.com's projected stats and standard scoring points.

But who do I start...

Updated 12/29 - Follow @walterfootball for updates.
  1. Keenan Allen, WR, Chargers (vs. Raiders)- 23 Points
    7 Catches, 100 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Sticking with the motivation theme, Allen should be heavily targeted in a must-win game, especially if Melvin Gordon isn't 100 percent.

  2. Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Cardinals (at Seahawks)- 21 Points
    7 Catches, 85 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Fitzgerald will again be a target-hog with Drew Stanton at quarterback, so expect plenty of receptions and hope for a touchdown.

  3. Julio Jones, WR, Falcons (vs. Panthers)- 21 Points
    6 Catches, 95 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Jones shouldn't have any trouble with the Panthers' poor pass defense this week.

  4. Michael Thomas, WR, Saints (at Buccaneers)- 21 Points
    6 Catches, 95 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Thomas is getting limited practices in this week, so should be good to go in a game the Saints want to win for playoff seeding. He gets the best matchup an outside receiver can get, so play him at will.

  5. Marvin Jones, WR, Lions (vs. Packers)- 21 Points
    6 Catches, 90 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Jones has played well against the Packers since joining the Lions and should be able to keep that going at home to finish the season.

  6. Marquise Goodwin, WR, 49ers (at Rams)- 20 Points
    6 Catches, 80 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Goodwin has been solid with Garoppolo under center, and with the Rams resting some starters, I expect Goodwin will continue to do well.

  7. T.Y. Hilton, WR, Colts (vs. Texans)- 20 Points
    6 Catches, 80 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Hilton dismantled the Texans the last time they met and has been good against very weak pass defenses this season.

  8. Golden Tate, WR, Lions (vs. Packers)- 19 Points
    6 Catches, 75 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  9. Mike Evans, WR, Bucs (vs. Saints)- 19 Points
    6 Catches, 75 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  10. Doug Baldwin, WR, Seahawks (vs. Cardinals)- 18 Points
    5 Catches, 75 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Baldwin isn't getting nearly the targets he needs to be consistent, but he's still the No. 1 target in a game the Seahawks need to win to get into the playoffs.

  11. Jarvis Landry, WR, Dolphins (vs. Bills)- 18 Points
    5 Catches, 75 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  12. Will Fuller, WR, Texans (at Colts)- 18 Points
    5 Catches, 75 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  13. Adam Thielen, WR, Vikings (vs. Bears)- 18 Points
    5 Catches, 70 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Thielen has had two down games in a row, so I expect the Vikings will work at getting him going before the playoffs.

  14. Stefon Diggs, WR, Vikings (vs. Bears)- 18 Points
    5 Catches, 70 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  15. Michael Crabtree, WR, Raiders (at Chargers)- 18 Points
    5 Catches, 70 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  16. A.J. Green, WR, Bengals (at Ravens)- 18 Points
    5 Catches, 70 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  17. Mike Wallace, WR, Ravens (vs. Bengals)- 17 Points
    5 Catches, 65 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  18. Brandin Cooks, WR, Patriots (vs. Jets)- 17 Points
    5 Catches, 65 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  19. Robby Anderson, WR, Jets (at Patriots)- 17 Points
    5 Catches, 65 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  20. Demaryius Thomas, WR, Broncos (vs. Chiefs)- 17 Points
    5 Catches, 65 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  21. Jamison Crowder, WR, Redskins (at Giants)- 16 Points
    4 Catches, 65 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  22. Devin Funchess, WR, Panthers (at Falcons)- 16 Points
    4 Catches, 65 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  23. Mohamed Sanu, WR, Falcons (vs. Panthers)- 16 Points
    4 Catches, 65 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  24. JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, Steelers (vs. Browns)- 16 Points
    5 Catches, 55 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  25. Josh Gordon, WR, Browns (at Steelers)- 16 Points
    5 Catches, 55 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  26. Keelan Cole, WR, Jaguars (at Titans)- 16 Points
    4 Catches, 60 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  27. Ted Ginn Jr., WR, Saints (at Buccaneers)- 15 Points
    4 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  28. Rishard Matthews, WR, Titans (vs. Jaguars)- 14 Points
    3 Catches, 55 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  29. Tyrell Williams, WR, Chargers (vs. Raiders)- 13 Points
    3 Catches, 45 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.

  30. Dede Westbrook, WR, Jaguars (at Titans)- 13 Points
    6 Catches, 70 Receiving Yards.

  31. Paul Richardson, WR, Seahawks (vs. Cardinals)- 9 Points
    4 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards.

  32. Martavis Bryant, WR, Steelers (vs. Browns)- 8 Points
    4 Catches, 45 Receiving Yards.
