Age listing is as of Sept. 11, the first day of the 2008 regular season.
If I missed a signing or a free agent, please let me know. There are so many players on the market I may have missed someone.

1. Jeff Faine, Saints. Age: 27.
   Signed with Buccaneers
   
   A dependable starter who missed just two games while in a Saints uniform. One of the better free agents at the center position, the Saints should re-sign Jeff Faine.
   
   
2. Chris Myers, Broncos. Age: 26.
   Traded to Texans for a 6th-round pick
   
   Chris Myers took Tom Nalen's spot this season and did a solid job. At only 26, he must be retained.
   
   
3. Alex Stepanovich, Bengals. Age: 26.
   Signed with Falcons
   
   Alex Stepanovich isn't the best center in the world, but he has starting experience, making him a solid backup in this league.
   
   
4. Justin Hartwig, Panthers. Age: 29.
   Signed with Steelers (2 years, $4 million)
   
   Injury-prone and unreliable. You can't count on Justin Hartwig being in your lineup for the majority of the season. Still, he'd make a decent backup.
   
   
5. Jeremy Newberry, Raiders. Age: 32.
   Signed with Chargers (1 year)
   
   Call me crazy, but I wouldn't give big money to a 32-year-old with chronic knee problems. Jeremy Newberry has missed 39 games the past four years.
   
   
6. LeCharles Bentley, Browns. Age: 28.
   I can't see anyone offering LeCharles Bentley a large contract. Actually, it'll be somewhat of a surprise if he's signed at all. A former Pro Bowl-caliber player, Bentley has been out of football the past two years, thanks to knee injuries.
   
   
7. Brett Romberg, Rams. Age: 28. - Re-signed with Rams (1 year)
8. Jonathan Goodwin, Saints. Age: 29. - Re-signed with Saints (3 years, $8.5 million)
9. Dylan Gandy, Colts. Age: 26. - Signed with Broncos
10. Al Johnson, Cardinals. Age: 29. - Signed with Dolphins
11. Doug Datish, Falcons. Age: 25.
12. Mike Flynn, Patriots. Age: 34.
13. Geoff Hangartner (RFA), Panthers. Age: 26.
14. Gene Mruczkowski, Chargers. Age: 26. - Re-signed with Chargers (3 years)
15. Cory Withrow, Chargers. Age: 33. - Signed with Rams
16. Steve McKinney, Dolphins. Age: 32. - Signed with Seahawks
17. Rudy Niswanger (ERFA), Chiefs. Age: 25.
18. Ben Claxton, Seahawks. Age: 28. - Signed with Lions
19. Casey Wiegmann, Chiefs. Age: 35. - Signed with Broncos (2 years)
20. Jason Whittle, Bills. Age: 33. - Re-signed with Bills
21. John Wade, Buccaneers. Age: 33. - Signed with Raiders
