Round 1

Round 1: 1-15
1. 76ers: Markelle Fultz, Point Guard, Washington

Fultz-Simmons-Embiid could become an elite Big 3, health is going to be the biggest factor in determining their success.

2. Lakers: Lonzo Ball, Point Guard, UCLA

The trade of D'Angelo Russell all but sealed this pick. The distributor the Lakers have been searching for.

3. Celtics: Jayson Tatum, Small Forward, Duke

Between Jayson Tatum and Dennis Smith Jr. here. I give the edge to Tatum, gives the C's an offensive boost that they currently don't have at the SF position- stretch 4 in small-ball lineups.

4. Suns: De'Aaron Fox, Point Guard, Kentucky

Pass-first PG, driver, inside scoring threat paired in the back-court with Devin Booker.

5. Kings: Josh Jackson, Small Forward, Kansas

Jackson tumbles a bit further than expected, fills a need, BPA for Sac.

6. Magic: Malik Monk, Guard, Kentucky

Can score at will, game-changer that the Magic desperately need.

7. Timberwolves: Lauri Markkanen, Power Forward, Arizona

Size, versatility, match-up nightmare, with the potential to develop into a 4 or a 5 next to KAT.

Timberwolves's Needs via ESPN's RPM

8. Knicks: Frank Ntilikina, Point Guard, France

Arguably fits the Triangle Offense better than any PG of this draft class, except for maybe De'Aaron Fox could if he were available.

9. Mavericks: Jonathan Isaac, Small Forward, Florida State

Tremendous length, needs to bulk up and work on a few things, but can contribute right away as a starter in Dallas.

10. Kings: Dennis Smith, Point Guard, N.C. State

Kings miss out on the PG they wanted in De'Aaron Fox, but get one who in my opinion, is a better offensive threat. One of the most explosive players in the draft.
