2018 NFL Mock Draft by Cap`n Crunch - Nov 9th.
Published at 11/15/2017 2:36:43 AM

New three RD mock after week 9. More trades as we see teams look to grab a franchise QB. At least 6 QB`s could go in RD 1 this year. Latest news from the scouting circles is that T. Adams & S. Darnold will probably stay in school for another year. Updates reflect huge trades. RD 2 & RD 3 are random for trades that typically occur. Looking at the latest big boards.....its gone crazy... cbs, draft tek, & draft site all have HUGE separations on certain players...This shows how deep, yet how fluid the 2018 draft is leading up to be. Seen a few mocksters saying this draft class isn`t very good.... I couldn`t disagree more...better QB`s & OT`s by far this year. DB`s.. RB`s .. & Safeties look strong again as well.

Round 1

1. Browns: Josh Rosen, Quarterback, UCLA

After a few games D. Kizer has regressed quite far. Looked solid at first, but now is getting benched. Very possible they trade down being this years QB class is deep. J. Rosen is the top QB in 2018.

2. Jaguars: Mason Rudolph, Quarterback, Oklahoma State

Jags make a bold trade with the 49ers. Exciting young team looks to grab their franchise QB. B. Bortles goes to the 49ers, K. Cousins stays in DC.
Jags give up B. Bortles, 2018 1st RD # 14, 2018 4th RD, 2019 2nd RD.

3. Giants: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, Penn State

Giants have a ton of options but grab the #1 player overall from the 2018 class. S. Barkley is an instant star. Yes, they need to address their offensive line, so look for them grab OT & OG later this draft.

4. Chargers: Minkah Fitzpatrick, Safety, Alabama

Chargers like his versatility to play CB/S. Instant starter who has looked great for Alabama. Some say his tape is poor, but all I see is him making big plays. Possible they trade down with a QB needy team.

5. Bengals: Derwin James, Safety, Florida State

Bengals play so-so each week. Their line will be addressed in RD 2 & 3.
D. James brings a dynamic attitude to their safety position. Slight injury & average play in 2017 will possibly see him drop, but he has tons of great tape.

6. Colts: Christian Wilkins, Defensive Tackle, Clemson

Big man for the Colts. Their defense is less than poor, it`s horrible. M. Mack has shown flashes, so they look to find a dominant DT.

7. Bears: Mike McGlinchey, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

Trubisky`s best friend for the next few years.

8. Dolphins: Arden Key, Defensive End, LSU

Phins start to rebuild. To be honest, they could draft almost any position and it would fill a need.

9. Cardinals: Josh Allen, Quarterback, Wyoming

Cards see a raw talent equal to C. Wentz. J. Allen possibly has the highest ceiling of the QB class, but he needs to play better against top competition.

10. Bills: Clayton Thorson, Quarterback, Northwestern

Rising up boards each week. Huge year for QB`s in this years draft. Bills hope he is like Big Ben. Cold weather experience is a plus.

BILLS TRADE UP WITH RAVENS.

11. Jets: Lamar Jackson, Quarterback, Louisville

Jets grab this years D. Watson, If they can tank enough to get him. Very hard team to figure out. Have beaten good teams, but played down to the very average Browns. Exciting player to handle the big stage in New York.

12. Browns: Tarvarus McFadden, Cornerback, Florida State

Browns have a huge need for CB.

VIA TEXANS.

13. Buccaneers: Bradley Chubb, Defensive End, N.C. State

Bucs need edge rushing.

14. 49ers: Orlando Brown, Offensive Tackle, Oklahoma

49ers trade down. They landed J. Garoppolo in a massive trade, so I have them taking a OT to protect him. B. Bortles will be the back-up QB they received trading with the Jaguars. Very possible they also trade B. Bortes for more draft stock, but having him as a back-up would be great depth at the QB position.

15. Falcons: Ken Webster, Cornerback, Ole Miss

Falcons are falling off their SB form. Take the fast rising CB from Ole Miss.

16. Broncos: Quenton Nelson, Offensive Guard, Notre Dame

Many think this is much too high for a OG. They also forget Q. Nelson has played OT early in his career. Dominated H. Landry which is no easy task.
