Round 1

1. Browns: Sam Darnold, Quarterback, USC

Is one of the best QB's on the board and would make a difficult decision for the Browns because of the amount of talent in this years QB class. Darnold has been the favorite so far, but as we've seen value can rise and drop; in recent years we've seen Geno Smith, a for sure 1st rounder, fall to the 3rd round. It is also not a for sure thing that he would come into the draft. He actually might benefit more by staying another year and allowing him value to rocket even more and also develop his skills.

Other Selection: Lamar Jackson QB, Josh Allen QB, Baker Mayfield QB

2. 49ers: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, Penn State

Now that they have acquired Jimmy Garoppolo from New England, QB is most likely out of the conversation. With the deadline past and the 49ers seeking possible trade candidates for Carlos Hyde, they are likely that he will be traded for the possibility to acquire the best prospect in college football. Barkley would be a huge weapon for Garoppolo and the 49ers for years to come.

Other Selections: Derwin James S, Minkah Fitzpatrick S/CB, Mike McGlinchey OT

3. Giants: Connor Williams, Offensive Tackle, Texas

Many speculate that the Giants will select a QB to take over for a struggling Eli Manning. They have many needs at O-Line however, and with many high skilled QB's in this draft and the possibility to a high 2nd round pick, they can afford to wait before they select the possible replacement to Eli Manning.

Other Selections: Josh Rosen QB, Baker Mayfield QB, Mason Rudolph QB

4. Colts: Harold Landry, Defensive End, Boston College

One of the better defensive players in the draft and could be a valuable pick for a struggling Colts defense. They were up big in the Bengals game yet lost after giving Dalton the time he needed and just poor defensive play. Would benefit if they started to find a new defense to play with.

Other Selections: Arden Key DE/LB, Da'Ron Payne DT, Mike McGlinchey OT

5. Buccaneers: Minkah Fitzpatrick, Safety, Alabama

They are on the urge of a really good defense. Kwon Alexander and Vernon Hargraves are two of the best young defensive players in this league and are going to develop really well. Adding another hard hitting, play making defensive player could be the structure to a devastating defense.

Other Selections: Bradley Chubb DE, Da'Ron Payne DT, Mike McGlinchey OT

6. Jets: Tarvarus McFadden, Cornerback, Florida State

The Jets will be the Jets, they will do the same thing they did with Ryan Fitzpatrick when he played well, they'll give McCown an extension thinking he'll play like this all the time and they will soon find out that he is bad and still be screwed at QB. We've seen this script before. Will likely rather take a QB in later rounds or wait for next year.

Other Selections: Da'Ron Payne DT, Josh Rosen QB, Lamar Jackson QB

7. Raiders: Derwin James, Safety, Florida State

Is another top defensive player and is being looked at by a lot of teams. Reminds me of a Jamal Adams prospect and is likely going to be treated the same in the draft. However Oakland is a very good landing spot for him as he has Khalil Mack to mentor him on some aspects of the game.

Other Selections: Da'Ron Payne DT, Mike McGlinchey OT, Trey Adams OT

8. Chargers: Trey Adams, Offensive Tackle, Washington

Has been losing some value, others see him as a late 1st, I think he could make his way back into top 10 considerations with the combine. With some questions at OL, they will need to find some answers, my belief is that they will go with the best available OT on the board with their pick.

Other Selections: Mike McGlinchey OT, Orlando Brown OT, Malik Jefferson LB

9. Bears: Calvin Ridley, Wide Receiver, Alabama

Wouldn't be surprised if they select a weapon for their QB of the future Mitch Trubisky. If Trubisky and Ridley get a trust and connection they could be a deadly force in the NFL. Could make the Bears a better team, maybe not next year but maybe a couple years down the road when they grab some more weapons or help defensively.

Other Selections: Christian Kirk WR, Da'Ron Payne DT, Bradley Chubb DE

10. Cardinals: Baker Mayfield, Quarterback, Oklahoma

Will be interesting to see which QB's go in what order. Again a lot of talent in this years draft. I think the way Mayfields season has gone could give him an advantage to his value. The pick for a QB is becoming more of a reality since Palmer got injured, his injury could be a deciding factor is he wants to retire or not.

Other Selections: Josh Allen QB, Lamar Jackson QB, Christian Wilkins DT

11. Bengals: Mike McGlinchey, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

With weapons surrounding Andy Dalton they would love to give him the time to throw to those weapons. Losing many OL weapons they will need to find players to contribute to remaking this line. If they wanted they could possibly trade Jeremy Hill for a lineman or even for some more picks that could lead to lineman.

Other Selections: Quenton Nelson OG, Da'Ron Payne DT, Bradley Chubb DE

12. Broncos: Luke Falk, Quarterback, Washington State

They seemed to have given up on Trevor Siemian after giving the starting spot to Brock Osweiler for week 9. Still haven't seen Paxton Lynch or Chad Kelly, which doesn't mean that they are going to not select a QB because of that choice. We all know that they are losing because they are lacking in the offense, and we all know that it's coming from the QB position. Maybe Falk is their guy of the future.

Other Selections: Lamar Jackson QB, Josh Allen QB, Josh Rosen QB

13. Browns: Denzel Ward, Cornerback, Ohio State

After releasing Joe Haden they will be looking to find someone younger to take his place. Ward has shown that he is a reliable defender, and could make this Browns defense a really dangerous young defense. Could make his way into a top 10 spot.

Other Selections: Da'Ron Payne DT, Christian Kirk WR, Derrius Guice RB

14. Lions: Da'Ron Payne, Defensive Tackle, Alabama

Ngata is getting close to his end of his career and would be a perfect opportunity for the Lions to acquire a really good DT. Even is Ngata doesn't retire he could mentor Payne. Payne and Robinson could be a very dangerous duo up the middle.

Other Selections: Christian Wilkins DT, Derrius Guice RB, Quenton Nelson OG

15. Redskins: Derrius Guice, Running Back, LSU

Now that the Redskins have one less team to worry about for the Kirk Cousins sweepstakes, they could actually find a spot in Kirk Cousins mind where he agrees to an extension. Adding a weapon for Cousins would help out a lot with his decision.

Other Selections: Quenton Nelson OG, Christian Wilkins DT, Ronnie Harrison S

16. Ravens: Lamar Jackson, Quarterback, Louisville

SURPRISE!!!!! The Ravens select Lamar Jackson. I know what you're thinking, why would the Ravens select Lamar Jackson. I think they will soon lose hope in Joe Flacco, and they will soon decide to move on from his reign. They could easily sign any other QB, yet Jackson is the best available. Would surprise the football world if they move up to select him.

Other Selections: Josh Rosen QB, Bryce Love RB, Bradley Chubb DE
