This draft includes trades. I try to look at what teams need and their past tendencies as well as need any player personality fit.

Round 1

1. Browns: Josh Rosen, Quarterback, UCLA

The Browns don't have a franchise QB. They could look at Darnold, but keep in mind Jim Mora Jr. could get fired at UCLA this season. If he does I would put money on it that the Browns new head coach brings in Mora making this the most likely pick.

2. Browns: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, Penn State

Trade with SF......

San Francisco is a long ways away and needs to build at many different positions. They will also lose cap space after they sign Garapollo to a long term deal meaning they will need to build through the draft a opposed to free agency. With Carlos Hyde still being there and performing well in both the running and pass catching game they will pass on Barkley to obtain additional picks. Therefore the Browns pick up their QB and the best playmaker in the draft.

3. Giants: Sam Darnold, Quarterback, USC

NY will look to move on from Eli and draft their future franchise QB. Darnold has all the hype and that fits well in NYC.

4. Colts: Arden Key, Defensive End, LSU

The Colts could go OT here, but I believe they stay true to their board and draft Key since Barkley was snatched away by the Browns.

5. Buccaneers: Bradley Chubb, Defensive End, N.C. State

The Buccaneers defense has been put in a lot of bad situations this season with turnovers. Chubb is the best pass rusher in this draft and can help the back end a lot. Another team who will most likely stay true to their board and draft best player available.

6. Jets: Mason Rudolph, Quarterback, Oklahoma State

I have a theory that Alex Smith will end up with the Jets this offseason. Having said that they take their future QB to eventually step in and replace Smith

7. Raiders: Derrius Guice, Running Back, LSU

The Raiders could go a number of positions here, but they need some explosiveness in the run game to compliment or replace the aging Marshawn Lynch.

8. Redskins: Josh Allen, Quarterback, Wyoming

Trade with LAC.....

Washington will let Kirk Cousins walk after this season and look to draft their future QB. with 3 QB's going in the top 7 they will need to move up and find a trade partner like the Chargers who will look to accumulate additional picks to continue to bolster that roster.

9. Bears: Calvin Ridley, Wide Receiver, Alabama

The Bears are in desperate need of playmakers at the WR position. Ridley isn't my number one ranked WR, but he's probably the safest pick at the position in the draft. This gives Mitch Trubisky a new toy on the outside.

10. Packers: Minkah Fitzpatrick, Safety, Alabama

Trade with ARI.....

With 4 QB's gone in the top 8 Arizona doesn't feel like their future signal caller is in the top ten. Green Bay moves up to take the top defensive player in this draft to continue and improve their secondary.

11. Bengals: Mike McGlinchey, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

OLAY!!!.. That is what Andy Dalton has been hearing from his O-Line all season. This is his last shot to prove that he is the franchise QB with McCaron, assuming he loses his grievance with the Bengals, being in the last year of his contract. They need someone to protect the QB whom ever is it in Cincinnati next season.

12. Broncos: Tarvarus McFadden, Cornerback, Florida State

Bradley Robey is in the last year of his rookie deal. The Broncos have a lot of money invested in other defensive players and may look to move Roby him in the offseason before the draft. In addition they will have to sink a lot of money into signing Kirk Cousins in the offseason. Look for them to move Roby and draft his replacement.

13. 49ers: Christian Kirk, Wide Receiver, Texas A&M

Trade with Browns.....

The 49ers traded for Garapollo. Now they need to get him some weapons. Carlos Hyde will continue to flourish in the backfield, but Christian Kirk becomes the top playmaker in San Francisco.

14. Lions: Quenton Nelson, Offensive Guard, Notre Dame

It didn't help that Taylor Decker was out the entire season last year, but the Lions Offensive line was bad. Nelson is probably the best OL in this entire draft. Pairing him with Decker should help bolster their run game.

15. Chargers: Derwin James, Safety, Florida State

Trade with WAS.....

The Chargers trade back but still get their guy. Ever since Eric Weddle has left there has been a vacancy in the back end of the Chargers Secondary. James fills that void

16. Ravens: Harold Landry, Defensive End, Boston College

This will be a love hate pick for Ravens fans. Landry is the best LB in the class and has top 10 talent. They stick to their roots and draft defense even though they are in desperate need of playmakers on offense.
