Round 1

1. Browns: Saquon Barkley, Running Back, Penn State

Honestly the Browns should go best player available with the first pick. Deshone Kizer has been relatively bad this year but at the end of the day he is still a rookie. Give him a running back like Saquon Barkley and see what he can do going into next year. Plus this year's QB class is really not that good. Don't let the media trick you.

2. 49ers: Minkah Fitzpatrick, Safety, Alabama

Since Saquon is off the board and there are no wide receivers worthy of the second pick. The selection here is Minkah Fitzpatrick, the 49ers clearly don't need a QB since they got Jimmy Garoppolo. Plus the 49ers need a special player in their secondary. Fitzpatrick could play corner back or safety for the 49ers.

3. Giants: Mike McGlinchey, Offensive Tackle, Notre Dame

Honestly if I were the Giants, I would trade down but in this mock, trades are not allowed. So the Giants take the offensive lineman. Personally this OT class is not as special as in recent drafts but McGlinchey is a whole lot better than Ereck Flowers or whoever else they place there for the rest of the season.

4. Colts: Arden Key, Defensive End, LSU

This pick really comes down to who the Colts like the most out of Arden Key, Harold Landry and Bradley Chubb. I gave the pick to Arden Key because I think he's a little better than Harold Landry and also that I think Bradley Chubb is a better 4-3 DE than 3-4 OLB.

5. Buccaneers: Bradley Chubb, Defensive End, N.C. State

Tampa Bay needs a pass rusher to help going up against Drew Brees, Cam Newton and Matt Ryan every year. Bradley Chubb fits beautifully into this defense as he will give Tampa Bay the pass rusher they need.

6. Jets: Josh Rosen, Quarterback, UCLA

Even though I don't like this year's QB class. I do believe that the Jets need to draft their QB of the future here. Josh McCown is having a good year but this is most likely to not continue. Rosen fits well with the Jets as I believe that he is the best QB in the draft right now.

7. Raiders: Roquan Smith, Inside Linebacker, Georgia

The Oakland Raiders defense still needs some work. The front has trouble stopping the run even with Navarro Bowman. Getting Roquan Smith from Georgia will give the Raiders a three down linebacker to help in both the run and the pass.

8. Chargers: Derwin James, Safety, Florida State

The Chargers are really close to contending. If they can stay healthy and plug up some of their holes, then they can go far. Safety is one of those holes that needs to be addressed and Derwin James can help. Even though he is struggling a little bit this year, James is still a versatile safety that can give the Chargers many ways to utilize him.

9. Bears: Hayden Hurst, Tight End, South Carolina

Honestly, this wide receiver class is not that good. Even though Mitch Trubisky needs a #1 receiver, there just isn't a #1 (a bunch of 2's and 3's but no #1) in this draft. So instead I'm going to reach a little bit (actually a lot) and give the Bears Hayden Hurst. Hurst would give a Trubisky another target to throw to.

10. Cardinals: Sam Darnold, Quarterback, USC

It's time for the Cardinals to move on from Carson Palmer. He has a broken arm and he just doesn't have it anymore. Drafting Sam Darnold would give the Cardinals a young QB who with along David Johnson could do some damage. The Cardinals would have to be patient with Darnold but this could end up being a good fit.

11. Bengals: Quenton Nelson, Offensive Guard, Notre Dame

The Bengals could use a WR or a CB with this pick but they still need help on the offensive line. We have seen Andy Dalton do well with a clean pocket but with no line Dalton can't do much at all. Adding Quenton Nelson would sure up the offensive line.

12. Broncos: Isaiah Wynn, Offensive Tackle, Georgia

Trey Adams would have been that pick here but sadly he will be returning to school as of now. So the pick here is Isaiah Wynn who is quietly moving up draft boards. Denver clearly needs help on the O-line and Wynn provides versatility for the Broncos.

13. Browns: Ken Webster, Cornerback, Ole Miss

Since in this mock draft the Browns are sticking with Kizer for one more year. The Browns will be addressing another positional need. The Browns need a shutdown corner and Ken Webster looks like the best corner in the draft right now.

14. Lions: Derrius Guice, Running Back, LSU

This pick for a running back comes down to whoever the Lions like the most. Personally I would take Derrius Guice if I were the Lions as I feel like he fits the offense.

15. Redskins: Calvin Ridley, Wide Receiver, Alabama

This pick could very well be a QB if Cousins leaves, but in this mock draft Cousins decides to stay in Washington. So the pick here is Calvin Ridley. Josh Doctson is starting to show signs of life in the offense but Washington still need another WR as Terrelle Pryor has been a bust so far.

16. Ravens: Courtland Sutton, Wide Receiver, SMU

The Ravens need offensive weapons like crazy. They could go RB or WR right here. Since the RB class is very good this year, the Ravens should draft one in the second round. The Ravens still need a #1 receiver and even though this year's receiving class is weak, Courtland Sutton does have #1 potential.
