1. Terrence Ferguson not in first round at all???
2. Why do you give the Bulls an unproven injured player?? I think the Bulls want to avoid injured players at all costs.
"The same happened with C.J. Beathard, whom I had in the Round 5-7 range."
You had the Redskins taking him in the 3rd round within the last week. I mocked you for the @#$@ty pick since he doesn't fit their system at all.
The franchise isn't taking a step forward until Cutler is gone. They can't win with him. Far beyond time to move on--it doesn't really matter who. Start developing a guy.
Personally-I love Kizer. Fox would have to be gone for it to be the right situation to take a QB at #3 though and that ain't happening. Everyone loves the Kizer intangibles--look at Walt's write up on him. College success doesn't mean much at the NFL level. He can make the throws, he's big, big hands, elusive. Reminds me of Big Ben coming out of college. Doesn't make sense to take him with a 62 year old defensive HC though. Probably exactly why the Bears will do it.
You have to explain to me how you can support taking Jabril Peppers in the first round when he's forced very few TOs and the Bears only have 28 takeaways in their last 32 games. To me, he had the benefit of a wonderful group of players around him defensively and still made fewer impact plays than a lot of those guys. I can't think of too many games where I thought he was the best player on the Michigan defense that day.
There's no doubt the secondary needs help, but the corner class is much better than the safety class. I like Wilson or Conley myself.
Bears do not have a 6th rounder. It was compensation to the Texans for Khari Lee. Can't say I disagree with your approach. I would love to see Trumaine Johnson on the Bears in 2017, but I don't think you will get him for $10M per after the franchise tag season.
I think Jeffery is going to walk, especially if the Bears move on from Cutler. Hoyer and/or Barkley ignored him with their pre-snap read offense that Loggains likes. All the defense has to do is show coverage slanting to Jeffery, and Hoyer/Barkley will never look his way.
I would like to see the Bears move down from 3 to the 7-10 range, and get either Hooker or Adams, or Quincy Wilson. I can't see any of them going in the top 5. Unless there is an OT there that can play the left side. I think they need to get aggressive on a TE on day 2, hopefully with one of the extra picks they get in the move back. They need to be thinking 4 or more players out of the first two days. That can get them moving in the right direction.
@Federale Changes made
Please get your facts correctly. The Bears pick 3rd.... This affects your analysis. They do NOT pick behind the Jets, Jaguars, etc., only behind the 49ers and Browns.
