Atlanta Hawks
Mock Selections from Paul Banks and David Kay
  • Rd. 1, Pk. 1 Michael Porter Jr., SF, Missouri
Porter. is the complete package. He has great size, athleticism and versatility. Porter can put the ball on the deck but also shoot it from deep.

  • Rd. 1, Pk. 23 Marques Bolden, C, Duke
Bolden is a prototypical big man who makes his presence felt on the defensive end and boards. His freshman season was derailed with injury issues.

  • Rd. 2, Pk. 1 Wenyen Gabriel, F, Kentucky
Gabriel is long, athletic, and versatile; making his biggest impact on the glass and defensive end.

Mock Selections from Mike Elworth
  • Rd. 1, Pk. 3 Marvin Bagley Jr., Duke, Fr.
Marvin Bagley Jr. is another franchise talent in the 2018 NBA Draft. There seem to be no holes in his game today, and he can handle the ball and shoot as a big, which are two aspects NBA teams currently love. The Hawks are rebuilding and need a franchise player, and Bagley would fit the bill and pair nicely with rookie John Collins in the frontcourt. I see Bagley as an NBA center.

  • Rd. 1, Pk. 24 Aaron Holiday, PG, UCLA
The third Holiday brother Aaron is like his brothers, as he is an excellent shooter and scorer, but also more like his brother Jrue, Aaron Holiday is a playmaker. Aaron Holiday lacks size, but he could become an ace sixth man, and the Hawks need more guard talent on the roster.

  • Rd. 1, Pk. 27 Nick Richards, C, Kentucky
The Hawks need a franchise center and Richards can be one in this league. He is huge and athletic who is a defender first, but has the and work ethic to become a scorer too. I'm a fan.
