2011 NBA Draft Scouting Report: Jimmy Butler
Position: Small Forward
Size: 6-7, 220
School: Marquette, Senior
Strengths:
Weaknesses:
Summary: Jimmy Butler will not wow you with any certain area of his game, but he does a little bit of everything to help his team on the floor. He likely will end up going undrafted, but might be selected late in the second round if a team feels his versatility, especially on the defensive end, can earn him a roster spot.
Player Comparison: Maurice Evans. A journey man throughout his NBA career, Evans is known for his intangibles and ability to defend more than anything else. Butler will have to follow a similar path if he is going to find a home at the next level since he is not a huge offensive threat.
