Keenan Burton Profile

Keenan Burton's Scouting Report
By Matt McGuire
Weaknesses: Will probably run in the 4.5-4.55 range at the Combine…Does not run away from defenders…Has suffered a few injuries at Kentucky and so durability will become a big question…Never gets a lot of yards against the more talented corners in the SEC but seems to register tons of receptions.
Thoughts: Like Andre Woodson, Burton never had a running game in which defenses could focus on and so teams really scheme against Burton and try to take away the big play…I think his route running is second to none in the SEC and the second-best in the country behind Mario Manningham…I am expecting a break-out year for Burton against the better corners in the SEC...Had a great spring and this should continue into the fall…Will probably get drafted between rounds 2 and 4, largely depending on his 40 time.
Player Comparison: Donald Driver.
