2011 Senior Bowl Day 4 Practice: Stock

2011 NFL Draft Stock Up: Senior Bowl Day 4 Practice

Kendric Burney, CB, North Carolina
Kendric Burney had close to a billion interceptions during Thursday's practice. Or at least that's what it seemed like. Maybe the quarterbacking was just abysmal, but Burney impressed.

Colin Kaepernick, QB, Nevada
Another good day for Colin Kaepernick, who showed great touch on some of his throws. Pro Football Talk published a story after practice speculating that Kaepernick could make a Jay Cutler-type leap come Draft Day. I don't think he'll go as high as No. 11, but Kaepernick has definitely solidified himself as the No. 4 quarterback in this draft class at the very worst.

Brooks Reed, DE/OLB, Arizona
I thought Brooks Reed looked very good in the drills during the South Team practice. You have to love his non-stop motor.

2011 NFL Draft Stock Down: Senior Bowl Day 2 Practice

James Carpenter, OT/G, Alabama
James Carpenter had a good practice Wednesday, but struggled in the one-on-one drills Thursday.

Jake Locker, QB, Washington
After the North team finished practice, I tweeted (@walterfootball), "Considering moving Jake Locker to Round 2 in my next 2011 NFL Mock Draft update. Inconsistent all week, but just awful today."

I've tried to be patient. I figured Locker would improve during each succeeding practice. But Locker had his worst practice at the Senior Bowl on Thursday. His accuracy was just terrible. Even Mike Mayock, who has been somewhat of a Locker supporter, could only say this about the Washington quarterback: "He's embraced the challenge. He's putting himself out there." What the hell does that mean? And is that really the most positive thing he could come up with?

Locker really needs to have a good game Saturday, or he'll be in my second round next week.

Kris O'Dowd, C, USC
It's sad to see Kris O'Dowd struggle like this. He's been completely overmatched this week. I hope there's some sort of reason for this like an undisclosed injury.

Ricky Stanzi, QB, Iowa
Ricky Stanzi has been worse than Jake Locker. Stanzi's Senior Bowl week has consisted of two things: checkdowns and interceptions to Kendric Burney.

Hi there KB ... thank you so much for your message, I am doing OK. I have been hnaivg a few health problems which have been causing me some grief but surgery at the end of this month will hopefully fix that for me. My brother, who has a chronic kidney disease, has been very unwell also. His kidneys are only functioning now at 20% after a double bout of pneumonia in the last 12 months. If is kidneys deteriorate to 15% he will have to start dialysis, we are all very concerned and are hoping for a miracle. Anyway, I just wanted you to know that finding your comment was really nice, thank you.As for Gridiron.... my husband played it for 5 years & it is the longest game I think there is on the planet & they really are like 4 hours long. I watched lots of games but I still had trouble understanding all the plays etc. Rugby league is much less confusing. have great week...cheers Kath

You? are correct. NO pargorm will work unless you change your diet. If you eat bad foods and lots of calories you will stay the same. But if you do and use vibration exercise, you can lose up to 4 times as much fat as with regular exercise. You can read the report done on this by searching Congress on Obesity vibration exercise . Very impressive results.

John 62050 . I think it's 17.50 million. Chad 6 mill Carson 11.5 mill.Lots of room there to sign some Free Agents if the money is right. Worth iontng it's a rarity for the Bengals to ever be up against the CAP. With dwindling attendance, maybe Mike will get creative and sign some big time free agents.

Seems to me this lockout is nnosense. For the one day the lockout was null, the coaches rushed to get the playbook into the hands of any takers. Then afterwards they say, we can't talk to the players but nothing prevents the players from sharing! On the one hand they want to punish the players. On the other they have a vested interest that the players remain in shape and ready to go! This is all a charade.

anything. Carry on. At least we got Osama, right?I can usually teralote Simmons' NBA stuff, but his most recent mishmash of Wire quotes combined with a double-installment rambling about the first round of the NBA playoffs was perhaps the most unreadable thing he's ever posted. It's one of the few written things I've ever walked away from unfinished and I've read Atlas Shrugged.
