Ohio State at Northwestern.
Line: Ohio State by 28.5.

Friday, 8:30 p.m.

Ohio State is coming off a big win against Michigan State and will be looking ahead to battling Wisconsin next week. Despite this, the books have inflated this spread. It’s -28.5, and yet Ohio State -21 is the number the computer model likes. Tons of action is coming in on the Buckeyes, so Northwestern looks very appealing.

College Football Pick: Northwestern +28.5 (3 Units) — Incorrect; -$330

Wisconsin at Illinois.
Line: Wisconsin by 31.

Saturday, 12:00 p.m.

Here’s the other half of the look-ahead to Ohio State-Wisconsin. This spread also happens to be inflated, with the computer model saying Wisconsin -25 is the correct line. There’s not a huge difference between -25 and -31, but it is something at least, and it’s certainly that the majority of the public is ignoring.

South Florida at Navy.
Line: Navy by 14.

Saturday, 3:30 p.m.

We won with South Florida last week, so let’s go back to the well once more. This line is grossly overpriced, as South Florida +7 is the correct number. The Bulls have figured things out since their slow start, so I like them here, especially with so much public action coming in on Navy.

College Football Pick: South Florida +14 (3 Units) — Incorrect; -$330

Missouri at Vanderbilt.
Line: Missouri by 21.

Saturday, 4:00 p.m.

Vanderbilt is 0-6 against the spread this year, which makes them appealing in this matchup. This spread has been inflated because of Vanderbilt’s incompetence, so instead of the Missouri -14 we should be seeing, the Tigers are favored by three touchdowns (and with -105 juice on Bovada, to boot.)

College Football Pick: Vanderbilt +21 -105 (2 Units) — Correct; +$200

Kentucky at Georgia.
Line: Georgia by 25.5.

Saturday, 6:00 p.m.

Georgia was exposed last week. Some think it was South Carolina being impressive, but Georgia is a team with flaws that should not be favored by this many points. The correct line is -17, so we’re getting more than a touchdown of value with a tough defense that should be able to keep this game close.
