The Bulldogs’ prestige is built on their victory against Clemson, but as we’ve learned, the Tigers are not a very good football team. Conversely, Arkansas has notched double-digit victories over Texas and Texas A&M.

The Bearcats are the better team and deserve to be laying points in South Bend.

Maybe I’m a glutton for punishment, but I’m giving Florida State a try again. The Seminoles were down big early against Louisville, but showed some fight. They also nearly beat Notre Dame at the beginning of the season. They should be favored by more than 5.5 points over a Syracuse team that scored just seven points against Rutgers and was an underdog versus both Liberty and Ohio University (Bobcats; not Buckeyes).

Ole Miss at Alabama.

Alabama nearly lost to Florida, and the same thing could happen in this game. Lane Kiffin knows how to game plan against Saban; he did a great job last year in a shootout. This year, these teams are closer in talent, so the Rebels should be able to stay within two touchdowns.
