  1. Jacksonville Jaguars: Tyler Wilson, QB, Arkansas
Regardless of whether Gene Smith is fired or not – it’ll be shocking if he keeps his job – the Jaguars will spend one of their first two picks on a quarterback. Blaine Gabbert is done starting for Jacksonville. He’s absolutely terrible.

Pick change; previously Jonathan Cooper, G/C

  2. Kansas City Chiefs: Robert Woods, WR, USC
Kansas City’s new quarterback will need a new receiver if Dwayne Bowe leaves. I wouldn’t spend the money on Bowe; he’s overrated because he’s inconsistent and piles up most of his stats in garbage time. He was responsible for both of Matt Cassel’s interceptions against the Ravens.

Pick change; previously Cordarrelle Patterson, WR

  3. Carolina Panthers: Matt Elam, S, Florida
I think we can all confirm that the real Hiro Nakamura can’t stop time. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have made so many terrible plays this year. The Panthers desperately need safety help, and Matt Elam is one of the top prospects available.

Pick change; previously Xavier Rhodes, CB

  4. Philadelphia Eagles: Eric Reid, S, LSU
Nate Allen and Kurt Coleman have more missed tackles this season (21) than any other safety tandem in the NFL, save for the Saints and Titans. The Eagles must find at least one upgrade at the position.

Pick change; previously Matt Elam, S

  5. Cincinnati Bengals: Giovani Bernard, RB, North Carolina
BenJarvus Green-Ellis has fumbled several times this year, which is terrible news for him because ball security was his only positive trait. One of the Bengals’ top priorities is finding a capable running back.

Pick change; previously T.J. McDonald, S

  6. St. Louis Rams: Barrett Jones, G/C/OT, Alabama
Another offensive line upgrade for the Rams, who need a couple. Barrett Jones, who happens to be one of the top prospects available, can play four positions up front. This will come in handy if St. Louis suffers multiple injuries on the offensive line again.

Pick change; previously Tank Carradine, DE

  7. San Diego Chargers: Corey Lemonier, DE/OLB, Auburn
The Chargers just spent an early pick on a rush linebacker (Melvin Ingram), so why would they do that again? Well, Shaun Phillips will be a 32-year-old free agent next March, so San Diego will need a complement for Ingram.

Pick change; previously Alex Okafor, DE/OLB

  8. Miami Dolphins: Sylvester Williams, DT, North Carolina
Stud defensive tackle Randy Starks will be a free agent in March. If the Dolphins can’t retain him, they’ll have to find a replacement this offseason. Sylvester Williams is too good to pass up at this spot.

Pick change; previously Carrington Byndom, CB

  9. Washington Redskins: Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florida State
DeAngelo Hall, who has underperformed this year, is due $7.5 million in 2013, but none of it is guaranteed. The Redskins can easily cut him and move on. Regardless of whether they do this or not, they have to find some help at the cornerback position.

Pick change; previously Kenny Vaccaro, S

  10. New York Jets: Dallas Thomas, OT/G, Tennessee
The Jets have dire issues at right tackle that need to be addressed. Mark Sanchez stinks, but he doesn’t even have a chance with Austin Howard blocking for him.

Pick change; previously D.J. Fluker, OT

  11. Tennessee Titans: Jordan Poyer, CB, Oregon State
Cornerback Alterraun Verner will be entering his contract year in 2013, so Tennessee will need a new starter if it can’t retain him. Besides, the Titans need to fix their 27th-ranked pass defense.

Pick change; previously Barrett Jones, G/C/OT

  12. Arizona Cardinals: D.J. Fluker, OT, Alabama
This is an obvious pick. The Cardinals drafted a quarterback in Round 1, so they cannot allow him to go through what Skelekolb has to endure right now. The offensive line absolutely must be addressed ASAP.

Pick change; previously E.J. Manuel, QB

  13. Detroit Lions: David Amerson, CB, N.C. State
It’s no secret that Detroit has major holes in its secondary. The Lions spent an early pick on Bullet Bill Bentley has been a bit of a disappointment thus far. Unfortunately, Detroit won’t be able to see what he can do for the rest of the year because he’s on injured reserve.

  14. Buffalo Bills: E.J. Manuel, QB, Florida State
Here’s the franchise quarterback that Buddy Nix was referring to. It’s a shame that the Bills are opting to address this position in such a weak class, but that’s the price they’re paying for drafting Aaron Williams over Andy Dalton and Colin Kaepernick in 2011.

Pick change; previously Tavon Austin, WR

  15. Dallas Cowboys: Chase Thomas, DE/OLB, Stanford
Anthony Spencer has played well when healthy this year, but he’ll be a free agent this March who will be difficult to retain. If he leaves, the Cowboys will have to find a worthy complement across from DeMarcus Ware.

Pick change; previously Corey Lemonier, DE/OLB

  16. Cincinnati Bengals: Shayne Skov, ILB, Stanford
The Bengals have major problems at linebacker. They lost Keith Rivers this past offseason, Manny Lawson will be a free agent in the spring, and Rey Maualuga is arguably one of the worst defensive starters in the NFL. I don’t know if he’s hurt or what, but he’s been awful this season.

  17. Minnesota Vikings: Jesse Williams, NT, Alabama
The Vikings can address one of their biggest needs with arguably the best player available. Defensive tackle is a big issue right now; Kevin Williams will turn 33 in August, and there’s no one of note playing next to him. Letroy Guion is a decent rotational guy but should not be a starter.

  18. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington
The Buccaneers don’t ever shy away from doubling up on positions. They may do so at cornerback, as this was a huge area of need even before the Aqib Talib trade.

  19. Miami Dolphins: Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
Brian Hartline is a starting-caliber wideout, but in the wake of his zero-catch performance against the Rams, it’s clear that he’s not a No. 1. The Dolphins need a top option for the struggling Ryan Tannehill.

Pick change; previously Sharrif Floyd, WR

  20. Seattle Seahawks: Da’Rick Rogers, WR, Tennessee Tech
The Seahawks’ receiving corps really needs to be upgraded. Sidney Rice is constantly laboring through injuries and has struggled to get any sort of separation for most of the season. Braylon Edwards is done, while Golden Tate is way too inconsistent. Russell Wilson keeps improving every week, so Pete Carroll needs to bolster his wideout corps.

Pick change; previously Zach Ertz, TE

  21. New York Giants: Khaseem Greene, LB, Rutgers
The Giants have issues in the middle of their defense. The safety position is a problem, as is inside linebacker. Chase Blackburn shouldn’t be starting, while Keith Rivers, a free agent in March, can never get healthy.

Pick change; previously Oday Aboushi, OT

  22. Pittsburgh Steelers: T.J. McDonald, S, USC
Troy Polamalu can’t seem to get healthy, while Ryan Clark, who just turned 33, will be entering his contract year. The Steelers need to get younger at safety.

Pick change; previously Chase Thomas, DE/OLB

  23. New England Patriots: Cobi Hamilton, WR, Arkansas
It’s amazing that New England’s offense has been this incredible considering that Deion Branch is playing two-thirds of the snaps every game. Imagine how explosive the Patriots would be if they added a legitimate threat opposite Brandon Lloyd.

  24. Chicago Bears: Nickell Robey, CB, USC
Every single corner on the Bears’ roster is entering either free agency or their contract year, including Charles Tillman, who will be owed $8.5 million in 2013. Depth will be needed.

Pick change; previously Jordan Poyer, CB

  25. Green Bay Packers: Zach Ertz, TE, Stanford
Jermichael Finley will be due close to $8 million in 2013, and Packer fans should be happy about that because Finley is one of the most overrated players in the NFL. He’s terribly inconsistent and doesn’t appear as though he’ll ever live up to expectations.

Pick change; previously Kenny Stills, WR

  26. Denver Broncos: Sharrif Floyd, DT, Florida
The Broncos spent a second-rounder this past April on Derek Wolfe, but he’s playing defensive end and moving inside on nickel situations. That’s why Denver still needs a ton of help at defensive tackle. Sharrif Floyd is too good to pass up here.

Pick change; previously Khaseem Greene, LB

  27. San Francisco 49ers: Tony Jefferson, S, Oklahoma
Donte Whitner hasn’t been very good this year. Dashon Goldson, meanwhile, was slapped with a franchise tag this prior offseason. The 49ers will need a replacement if they can’t sign him to a long-term deal.

Pick change; previously Nickell Robey, CB

  28. Baltimore Ravens: Carrington Byndom, CB, Texas
The Ravens suddenly have glaring issues at cornerback. Lardarius Webb tore an ACL for the second time in his career, while Cary Williams is a free agent.

Pick change; previously Da’Rick Rogers, WR

  29. Houston Texans: Oday Aboushi, OT, Virginia
The Texans were interested in bringing in a right tackle early in the 2012 NFL Draft, but they never got the chance. Well, here’s their opportunity. The position will have to be addressed if the currently injured Rashad Butler can’t properly fill in for Eric Winston.

Pick change; previously Margus Hunt, DE/DT

  30. Atlanta Falcons: Larry Warford, G, Kentucky
Peter Konz will eventually move to center and replace Todd McClure, but the Falcons will still need an upgrade at right guard.
