  1. Carolina Panthers Carolina Panthers: Will Levis, QB, Kentucky Kentucky
Would the Panthers trade up for C.J. Stroud or Bryce Young? It turns out that they did neither, opting to select the third- or fourth-best quarterback prospect in the class, depending on whom you ask.

Fortunately, this will be the last draft choice owner Dave Tepper ever makes. A group of cunning teenagers, comprised of a jock, a rich chick, a stoner, and a nerdy girl wearing blackface for some reason, managed to expose Tepper.

“Damn you kids, I was going to draft another crappy quarterback so I could lower the price of real estate in North Carolina and buy everything on the cheap,” Tepper said.

“Now, let’s find out who this really is,” the jock said, yanking off Tepper’s mask.

It turns out it was Marty Hurney all along.

“And I would’ve gotten away with it if it wasn’t for you meddling kids,” he said, as he was taken away in handcuffs.

  2. Houston Texans NFL Draft 2023 Houston Texans: Bijan Robinson, RB, Texas Texas
Everyone thought the Texans were going to miss out on the quarterback when they won a meaningless game at the end of the year. It turns out that everyone was wrong.

“I was sweating up a storm because I didn’t think we would get our guy,” owner Cal McNair said while combing his mustache.

When McNair was asked what the team would do about its quarterback dilemma, he looked rather annoyed.

“We have another draft pick, you dolt,” McNair said. “The general managers I hire know full well that you can get an elite quarterback at any point during the draft, which is why we like to wait as long as possible to get one. Quarterbacks are like kickers; they grow on trees.”

  3. Arizona Cardinals Arizona Cardinals: One-Way Plane Ticket Thailand
The Cardinals thought they were in a major dilemma. Kyler Murray is incredibly overpaid, and he’s now coming off yet another injury. This one was a torn ACL, which would surely impair his scrambling ability in 2023. Having so much money dedicated to an injured player was far from ideal. Yet, owner Michael Bidwell devised a great strategy to counter this problem.

“Kyler’s gone,” Bidwell announced. “We gave him a plane ticket to Thailand. He was excited, thinking that he was going on vacation. Little did he know this was a one-way ticket.”

Will Murray be joining Kliff Kingsbury in Thailand, then? Bidwell said he didn’t think about that too much.

“If the same sex traffickers pick up Murray, perhaps they’ll see each other while they’re locked in the same cellar,” Bidwell said coldly. “Frankly, that’s none of my concern anymore. Now that those two guys are gone, I can spend the money elsewhere. I plan on enhancing my bowtie collection for starters.”

  4. Indianapolis Colts Indianapolis Colts: Hendon Hooker, QB, Tennessee Tennessee
The Colts, armed with the No. 4 pick, were expected to draft one of C.J. Stroud or Bryce Young. Thus, everyone was shocked when they took Hendon Hooker instead.

“Yeah, I was going to draft Stram or Young, but then I saw that a hooker was available, so I ordered one,” owner Jim Irsay said.

    Whoops.

“I was in my hotel room waiting for the hooker to show up, and suddenly there’s this 6-foot-4 quarterback at my door,” Irsay said. “At first I was disappointed that they didn’t send a chick, but then I thought, meh, why not go for it?”

  5. Seattle Seahawks Seattle Seahawks: Josh Freeman, QB, Kansas State Kansas State
Geno Smith revived his career last year, but because Pete Carroll likes to play the NFL on hard mode, he decided to go with another quarterback instead.

“We got Smith to win Comeback Player of the Year, and now it’s another quarterback’s turn,” Carroll said.

Enter, Josh Freeman. The former Buccaneer has been out of the NFL for nearly a decade, but perhaps he’ll be able to resurrect his career with Greg Olson, his former offensive coordinator. Still, one has to wonder why the Seahawks don’t go after more talented quarterbacks. We were perplexed until Carroll was caught on camera doing something naughty with the Comeback Player of the Year trophies.

“Oh yeah, baby, that fits in there real good,” Carroll moaned. “Oh baby, just wait until I get another Comeback Player of the Year trophy to go with you. That’s when the real fun will begin!”

  6. Detroit Lions Detroit Lions: Barry Sanders, RB, Oklahoma State Oklahoma State
Barry Sanders retired early because he was not pleased with the Lions’ lacking dedication to winning. This didn’t stop fat men in their 40s and 50s from drafting him in the final round of their fantasy leagues every year.

Now that the Lions are a Super Bowl contender – they’re 25/1 in some sportsbooks – Sanders has finally announced that he’s returning to the league. Sanders figures to be an upgrade over D’Andre Swift, who will be out for eight weeks because he climbed up the stairs too hard.

Meanwhile, those same fantasy players, who are now nearing 70, are thrilled that their strategy finally paid off.

“I haven’t won a championship since Barry retired because I’ve been spending picks on him, but now that he’s back, I can finally go back to my winning ways,” one boomer fantasy player said.

  7. Las Vegas Raiders Las Vegas Raiders: Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida Florida
This is not a shocking pick by any means. There was a surprising aspect to it, however, and that would be the person making the decision.

    “Anthony … Richardson … is a … great … playa…” a voice echoed from behind the curtain.

    Could it be? Al Davis!?

    No. Well, sort of.

Mark Davis sat at a table with an intermediary, who was channeling his father. Unfortunately for Mark, Al had some negative things to say as well.

“Mark … your captain kangaroo … haircut … is a … disgrace … so ugly … the demons and gargoyles … in the underworld … are making fun of you.”

  8. Atlanta Falcons Atlanta Falcons: Michael Mayer, TE, Notre Dame Notre Dame
The Falcons had both franchise quarterbacks fall into their lap, somehow. C.J. Stroud and Bryce Young were expected to be chosen Nos. 1 and 2 overall, in some order, yet they were inexplicably available at No. 8. It seemed as though the football gods had smiled upon the Falcons.

And yet, the Falcons passed on both.

“Drafting tight ends in the top 10 is a proven, winning strategy,” said owner Arthur Blank, while combing his mustache. “It worked for us when we passed on Justin Fields for Kyle Pitts, and it’ll work again here, trust me. By the way, would you say that I have a better mustache than that fraud Cal McNair?”

  9. Chicago Bears Chicago Bears: Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida Florida
When the Bears traded down to No. 9, they signaled that they were ready to commit to Justin Fields and build a great roster around him. Apparently, that’s not the case.

“When we heard that Anthony Richardson ran a 4.4 at the combine, we knew we had to have him,” said general manager Ryan Poles. “Our coaching staff recently figured out that fast quarterbacks are capable of running with the football, so we need to take advantage of this knowledge.”

So, does this mean Chicago will be trading Fields?

“Are you an idiot?” Poles snapped. “Running quarterbacks are like gold or rare Pokemon. You need to catch them all. We’re going to use both on the field at the same time, and opposing teams won’t know what to do.”

  10. Philadelphia Eagles Philadelphia Eagles: Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville Louisville
Of all the teams expected to obtain Lamar Jackson, the Eagles were near the bottom of the list. Not only did they not have a need for a quarterback; they also lacked salary cap space.

“Salary cap space, ha!” general manager Howie Roseman scoffed. “I laugh at salary cap space! Have you seen how we’ve re-signed most of our free agents despite being in the ‘red’ entering the offseason? We can keep kicking the can down the road forever, and I’ll prove it by getting Lamar Jackson and keeping him on the bench. I’m like Tywin Lannister, I s**t gold!”

Those around the NFL complained about the Eagles’ cheating tactics to Roger Goodell, but that fell on deaf ears.

“Hello, I see that you are complaining, and as a fellow hu-man, I complain, too,” Goodell said. “My complaint for today is – accessing memory bank – the sky is too cloudy. My complaining proves that I am a hu-man like all of you.”

  11. Tennessee Titans Tennessee Titans: Clayton Thune, QB, Houston Houston
Mike Vrabel couldn’t believe it. Both C.J. Stroud and Bryce Young made it to his pick.

“I’m finally going to have a talented quarterback to constantly yell at in practice!” chirped Vrabel, as he handed the card into Roger Goodell. Minutes later, Goodell made the announcement.

“With the 11th pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans select: Clayton Thune, quarterback, Houston.”

What!? How could this be? Vrabel clearly recalled writing down Stroud’s name on the card. He was about to launch a complaint until he checked his settings and saw that he was playing NFL Head Coach on extra-hard mode.

“Ugh, no wonder I’ve been handed crappy quarterbacks and constantly injured players all these years,” Vrabel sighed.

  12. Houston Texans Houston Texans: Bryce Baringer, P, Michigan State Michigan State
So much for drafting a quarterback with the next pick. Cal McNair said that kickers grow on trees, but apparently, punters do not.

“Punters are like a fine mustache comb,” McNair said. “You’ll get one, maybe two good ones in your life, and the rest are too rough and yank out some of your hair. Hey, reporter, I have a better mustache than that a**hole Arthur Blank, right?”

  13. Green Bay Packers Green Bay Packers: Jordan Addison, WR, USC USC
The Packers could totally get a first-round pick for Aaron Rodgers, so they’re definitely going to do that and then draft a talented receiver with that real first-round pick they’re totally going to get for Aaron Rodgers.

  14. New England Patriots New England Patriots: Garrett Greenfield, G, South Dakota State South Dakota State
The Patriots shocked everyone when they drafted a third-round prospect in the opening round last year. Cole Strange was an unexpected pick, but that was nothing compared to this.

“That fat f**k WalterFootball gave me a Millen grade for Cole, so now he’s really going to feel stupid when I pick the worst player on his guards list,” Bill Belichick said.

We’ve never heard of a team drafting for spite before, but there’s apparently a first time for everything.

“When that fat f**k WalterFootball gives me another Millen, and this Garrett Greenberg guy becomes great, I’m going to shove that Millen grade and a kielbasa right up that fat f**k WalterFootball’s a**.”

  15. Green Bay Packers Green Bay Packers: Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Ohio State Ohio State
Hey, look, the Packers have drafted another talented receiver to go with the other receiver that they will get with their first-round pick they’ll totally obtain for Aaron Rodgers!

    April Fools!

  16. Washington Commanders Washington Caucasians: Brian Branch, CB, Alabama Alabama
The Twitter blue checkmarks finally had the last laugh, or so they thought.

“Now, white people will know how it feels to be ridiculed,” said a white female with the pronouns she/him in her bio.

“We totally owned the white conservatives,” said another white female with a Ukraine flag in her bio.

“Those white conservative snowflakes are going to be crying so much now that there’s a Caucasian team nickname!” said yet another white female with what she proclaims to be natural blue hair.

These losers were disappointed to learn, however, that the very few white racists who exist loved this name change.

“Finally, some equality!” beamed a KKK member. “I’m so glad they’re removing minorities from everything so only white people are featured everywhere. This is great!”
