1. Alabama image Dallas Turner*, OLB/DE, Alabama
Height: 6-2. Weight: 247.
40 Time: 4.46.
Projected Round (2024): Top-20.

3/16/24: Turner collected 53 tackles, 11 sacks, 15.5 tackles for a loss and two forced fumbles in 2023. He is a fast and dangerous pass rusher off the edge, as illustrated with his electric combine 40 time. However, Turner has some size limitations as a run defender for the NFL.

8/19/23: With Will Anderson commanding attention on the other side in 2021, Turner had a phenomenal freshman debut for the Crimson Tide and showed serious pass rush potential – collecting 8.5 sacks. He also had 30 tackles and was rotating with other defenders. In 2022, Turner collected 37 tackles and four sacks, but he was far more disruptive than the numbers indicate. He has a good skill set with upside.

2. Penn State image Chop Robinson, OLB/DE, Penn State
Height: 6-2. Weight: 254.
40 Time: 4.48.
Projected Round (2024): 1-2.

3/16/24: Robinson totaled 15 tackles, four sacks, two forced fumbles and a pass batted for his 2023. He only played in seven games, missing time due to a leg injury. Sources say Robinson has good character and work ethic. He worked out well at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine.

8/19/23: Robinson plays defensive end for Penn State, but for the NFL, he may have to move to outside linebacker given his size. If Robinson is any smaller than his listed numbers, he definitely will need be too small to play end on an every-down basis. In 2022, Robinson recorded 5.5 sacks, 10 tackles for a loss, two passes batted, one forced fumble and 26 tackles. Playing for Maryland in 2021, he totaled 19 tackles and two sacks.

3. Alabama image Chris Braswell, OLB/DE, Alabama
Height: 6-3. Weight: 255.
40 Time: 4.60.
Projected Round (2024): 2-3.

3/16/24: In 2023, Braswell recorded 42 tackles, eight sacks, three forced fumbles, one interception and a pass batted. He is a fast edge rusher with upside.

8/30/23: Braswell is known to be an athletic freak with serious speed and strength, but he has yet to put together a big season for Alabama. Braswell flashed some edge-rush ability in 2022, recording three sacks, 4.5 tackles for a loss and 21 tackles. With Will Anderson in the NFL, Braswell could take on a big role in 2023.

4. Utah image Jonah Elliss*, OLB/DE, Utah
Height: 6-2. Weight: 246.
Projected 40 Time: 4.79.
Projected Round (2024): 2-3.

3/16/24: Elliss was one of college football’s most dangerous pass rushers in 2023, making a big impact for the Utes. He racked up 12 sacks, 37 tackles and a forced fumble on the year, plus he produced steady pressure on the quarterback. Elliss is undersized for edge rusher in the NFL thanks to lacking height and length. However, he plays low to dip under blockers while also having some functional strength. The junior put himself on the map for the next level with how he played in 2023.

5. Kentucky image Trevin Wallace*, OLB, Kentucky
Height: 6-1. Weight: 244.
40 Time: 4.51.
Projected Round (2024): 2-3.

3/16/24: Wallace totaled 80 tackles, 5.5 sacks, one interception and one forced fumble in 2023. He was a solid defender for Kentucky, showing a good skill set with size, speed, and athleticism. Wallace has upside to develop for the NFL.

8/19/23: Wallace is know to be an athletic freak with size and speed. He could be in store for a big 2023 season now that he has more experience. In 2022, Wallace recorded 54 tackles, 2.5 sacks and two interceptions. The Kentucky staff develops their players well, so Wallace making a big jump as a junior would not be surprising.

6. Mississippi State image Nathaniel Watson, OLB/ILB, Mississippi State
Height: 6-2. Weight: 244.
40 Time: 4.63.
Projected Round (2024): 2-3.

3/16/24: In 2023, Watson was a tackling machine for the Bulldogs, recording 137 stops. He made a lot of splash plays as well, notching 10 sacks, two forced fumbles, an interception and two passes defended. Watson played well in 2022 too, totaling 113 tackles, six sacks and an interception. He is an intriguing linebacker with run-defense and pass-rush potential. Watson had a solid week at the Senior Bowl.

7. Miami image James Williams, OLB/S, Miami
Height: 6-4. Weight: 230.
Projected 40 Time: 4.49.
Projected Round (2024): 2-4.

3/16/24: Over the course of 2023, Williams racked up 73 tackles, an interception and four passes broken up. He moved to linebacker at Senior Bowl and turned in a good week of practice.

9/2/23: Williams is a big safety who has the size of a linebacker but moves pretty well for his size. Williams is more of a strong safety than a free safety for the NFL. He is consistent with his eye discipline, technique and tackling. However, his instincts aren’t bad and he has some coverage ability with flashes of physicality. In 2022, he recorded 59 tackles, one interception, one forced fumble and six passes broken up.

8. Washington image Bralen Trice, OLB/DE, Washington
Height: 6-3. Weight: 245.
40 Time: 4.72.
Projected Round (2024): 2-4.

3/16/24: Trice recorded 49 tackles, seven sacks and one pass batted in 2023. He was quiet in a number of games in terms of sack production, but he produced a good amount of pressures and finished the year playing well for the Huskies. Trice is undersized for the NFL.

8/19/23: Trice put together an excellent sophomore season in 2022, recording 30 tackles and seven sacks. In 2021, he had 14 tackles and two sacks.

9. Washington image Zion Tupuola-Fetui, OLB/DE, Washington
Height: 6-3. Weight: 244.
Projected 40 Time: 4.70.
Projected Round (2024): 3-5.

3/16/24: Tupuola-Fetui totaled 29 tackles, one forced fumble and 3.5 sacks in 2023.

8/19/23: Tupuola-Fetui flashed pass-rush ability in the shortened 2020 season, recording seven sacks. The 2021 season was limited to only five games because of an injury from spring practice. In 2022, he returned to the field, but he was a rotational player who put up 4.5 sacks and 28 tackles. Tupuola-Fetui needs to produce more and stay on the field as a senior to rise.

10. Colorado State image Mo Kamara, OLB/DE, Colorado State
Height: 6-1. Weight: 248.
40 Time: 4.57.
Projected Round (2024): 3-5.

3/16/24: Kamara was among the best pass rushers in college football in 2023, notching 13 sacks alongside 56 tackles and two forced fumbles. During the previous two seasons, he recorded 8.5 and 7.5 sacks, respectively. Kamara definitely has a nose for the quarterback, but at 6-foot-1, 250 pounds, he is very undersized for the NFL. Kamara could be a designated pass rusher for the sub package as a pro.

11. Kansas State image Khalid Duke, OLB/DE, Kansas State
Height: 6-3. Weight: 246.
40 Time: 4.79.
Projected Round (2024): 4-6.

3/16/24: Duke is an undersized edge rusher who team sources are projecting to be a designated pass rusher in the NFL. In 2023, Duke totaled 19 tackles, six sacks and a forced fumble. In 2022, he put up 44 tackles, three sacks and a pass broken up.

12. Houston Baptist image Jalyx Hunt, OLB, Houston Baptist
Height: 6-3. Weight: 250.
40 Time: 4.64.
Projected Round (2024): 4-6.

3/16/24: The Senior Bowl has been a great environment for some small-school players to show they are capable of playing at the pro level. Hunt impressed the Senior Bowl evaluators in 2023 while recording 46 tackles, nine tackles for a loss, 6.5 sacks, one interception and three passes defended. In 2022, he put up 87 tackles, 11.5 tackles for a loss, seven sacks and two passes batted. Hunt has the size to be an outside linebacker in the NFL. He had a decent week of practice in Mobile.

13. Florida State image Tatum Bethune, OLB, Florida State
Height: 5-11. Weight: 229.
Projected 40 Time: 4.80.
Projected Round (2024): 6-FA.

3/16/24: Over the past three seasons, Bethune was a solid, but unspectacular, defender. In 2023, Bethune totaled 71 tackles, an interception and three passes defended for the Seminoles. He lacks size for the NFL, but he could possibly compete as a backup.

14. Georgia State image Jontrey Hunter, OLB/ILB, Georgia State
Height: 6-2. Weight: 240.
Projected 40 Time: 4.68.
Projected Round (2024): 6-FA.

3/16/24: In 2023, Hunter was a tough defender for the Panthers, racking up 95 tackles, 1.5 sacks and three forced fumbles. Over the previous two seasons, he totaled 94 tackles. Hunter’s strong play earned him an invitation to the Senior Bowl.

15. Florida State image Kalen DeLoach, OLB, Florida State
Height: 5-11. Weight: 210.
40 Time: 4.47.
Projected Round (2024): 7-FA.

3/16/24: DeLoach notched 68 tackles in 2023 and showed some real blitzing ability with seven sacks. He also had one interception and two passes defended. DeLoach is extremely undersized and is comparable to a defensive back.

16. Wisconsin image Maema Njongmeta, OLB, Wisconsin
Height: 5-11. Weight: 229.
40 Time: 4.91.
Projected Round (2024): 7-FA.

3/16/24: Njongmeta flashed some ability in 2022 when he totaled 95 tackles, 3.5 sacks, an interception and a pass broken up. In 2023, his production declined to 59 tackles, and he ran slow times at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine. Njongmeta could receive late-round consideration as backup and special teams competition.
