2022 Fantasy Football Rankings - Tight Ends (May 12):
Top 10 | 11-20 | 21-45

Other Positions: QB | RB | WR

  1. Travis Kelce, TE, Chiefs. Bye: 0.

Travis Kelce saw his stats decline in 2021, despite the extra game. The cover-2 shell teams used against Patrick Mahomes played a factor, but Kelce turned 32 in October, so he could be slowing down a bit. However, he could see an uptick in production with Tyreek Hill gone.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 94 catches. 1,150 yards. 10 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 175.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 269.

  2. Mark Andrews, TE, Ravens. Bye: 0.

Mark Andrews made a huge leap in his fourth year, hitting the 100-catch barrier after coming nowhere close to that in the three preceding year. It could be argued that Andrews is now the No. 2 fantasy tight end, especially with Marquise Brown.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 91 catches. 1,080 yards. 10 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 168.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 259.

  3. Darren Waller, TE, Raiders. Bye: 0.

Darren Waller missed about half of 2021. Had he played the entire season, he would’ve gotten to 1,000-plus yards for the third year in a row. Still young, Waller will continue to dominate the competition.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 102 catches. 1,190 yards. 7 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 161.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 263.

  4. George Kittle, TE, 49ers. Bye: 0.

Despite missing a few games in 2021, George Kittle approached 1,000 receiving yards. He also caught a career-high touchdown total, but that didn’t approach double figures.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 77 catches. 1,050 yards. 7 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 147.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 224.

  5. Kyle Pitts, TE, Falcons. Bye: 0.

Kyle Pitts reached the 1,000-yard mark as a rookie. However, he will have to operate without Matt Ryan this upcoming season. Perhaps he’ll be targeted more often as a result.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 74 catches. 1,080 yards. 6 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 144.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 218.

  6. Dallas Goedert, TE, Eagles. Bye: 0.

Dallas Goedert was finally unshackled when the Eagles moved Zach Ertz. With Goedert having a full season without Ertz, he could enter the top-five tight end rankings, though his touchdown total will need to increase.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 74 catches. 950 yards. 6 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 131.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 205.

  7. Dalton Schultz, TE, Cowboys. Bye: 0.

Everyone thought Blake Jarwin would be Dallas’ primary tight end heading into 2021. Dalton Schultz seized the job instead. Schultz was terrific, and he should continute to perform on a high level.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 76 catches. 790 yards. 8 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 127.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 203.

  8. T.J. Hockenson, TE, Lions. Bye: 0.

T.J. Hockenson had some big games in his third year. He also had some duds because of the quarterback ineptitude. Hockenson also missed five games, so his numbers will improve in 2022.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 82 catches. 840 yards. 7 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 126.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 208.

  9. Rob Gronkowski, TE, Buccaneers. Bye: 0.

Rob Gronkowski proved that he could still be a major fantasy producer as long as Tom Brady is throwing the ball to him. If you draft, Gronkowski, expect him to miss some games, however.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 54 catches. 710 yards. 7 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 113.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 167.

  10. Zach Ertz, TE, Eagles. Bye: 0.

Zach Ertz transitioned smoothly with the Cardinals. He even looked revitalized after struggling in Philadelphia. Ertz turns 32 in November, so he could regress a bit, but there’s also a chance he continues to be a big producer with Kyler Murray.

Projected 2022 Fantasy Stats: 70 catches. 730 yards. 6 total TDs.
    Projected 2022 Fantasy Points: 109.
Projected 2022 PPR Fantasy Points: 179.
