The Warriors will rest the majority of their starters which should give Cook free reign at point. He usually shows well in situations such as these and I'll look to him as a reliable source of minutes and points per minute tonight.
Charlotte needs a win and a Pistons loss to get into the playoffs, so they will be playing all out. Unfortunately, they get an Orlando team that, even though they've clinched a playoff berth, could still finish seeded 6th, 7th or 8th, which will push them to play well and they have a strong defense. I still like Walker because we know he will play all out and it is difficult to say that about many players tonight.
The Pistons need a win or a Hornets loss to get into the playoffs, so they should be all in against a Knicks team that will not be all in and were already a poor defensive team. Smith has hit 32 and 31.8 DK points in his last two games and with Blake Griffin doubtful tonight, others will need to step up.
Westbrook has topped 53 DK points in his last seven games as he worked to keep the Thunder in the playoffs and get an elevated seeding. Their seeding is still in limbo, as they need a win to secure the sixth seed while a loss with other scenarios could push them all the way down to the eighth seed. That's enough for Westbrook to play all out once again and give you an almost locked in 50 or more DK points.
Drummond is likely to be my No. 1 play tonight, as Blake Griffin is doubtful and the Pistons need a win to assure a playoff spot. They could easily blowout the Knicks early, but they will make sure the deed is done and Drummond will be the enforcer.
Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum are resting tonight and as long as Turner plays, I expect him to get good minutes in what should still be a high-scoring affair. The same could be said for Seth Curry, but he did have a tibia issue recently and there is a chance he's also rested. Turner has shown good upside coming off the bench and with bigger minutes is in a spot to really help your DFS team.
In his last four games in which he's topped 28 minutes, he's also topped 38 DK points. In his last two games, he's put up 38 and 48 DK points with big minutes and I expect the same to be true tonight.
When Dieng gets playing time he usually puts up decent fantasy points and even sometimes when he doesn't get the playing time. With Karl-Anthony Towns out last night Dieng played 29 minutes and put up 35.8 DK points. Towns is doubtful tonight, so Dieng should be in line for similar output.
Finney-Smith has 37 and 33.5 DK points in his last two games. I'd much rather play him if Luka Doncic is out though.
Milwaukee will likely sit plenty of players tonight and Brook Lopez is already out. Ilyasova should get the start and plenty of run at a great price. Keep your eye on the news for other Bucks players resting as well. Tim Frazier and DJ Wilson should also end up being good value plays.
Wade's final NBA game will happen in Brooklyn and I expect he'll get all the run and shots that he desires. He's been great of late and it has unfortunately pushed his price up into the mid-range, but I don't see how he doesn't hit 40 DK points tonight with a possibility of more.
If you want to make sure you're getting players who are motivated, the Hornets are the team to work with. Kaminsky has played well with Cody Zeller and Marvin Williams out and that will continue tonight in a must-win game.
