NBA Offseason Team Needs:

1. Point Guard: With both Darren Collison and Ty Lawson free agents, the Kings desperately need to address their point guard situation. The franchise would be ecstatic if De’Aaron Fox slid to it with the fifth pick or the team could look to add one at No 10. Even if a point guard is selected with one of the Kings’ lottery picks, they should still look to add a veteran point guard if they do not re-sign Collison or Lawson.

2. Small Forward Rudy Gay has already let his intentions known that he will opt of out his contract and become a free agent. If Fox is off the board at No. 5, the Kings should look to draft either Josh Jackson or Jayson Tatum, depending on who falls to them. If Sacramento doesn’t address the small forward position through the 2017 NBA Draft, the team must do so in free agency.

3. Frontcourt Scorer: The trade of DeMarcus Cousins leaves a huge hole inside for a frontcourt scorer. Skal Labissiere showed flashes late in his rookie season, but Sacramento needs to add a scorer at the power forward position who will bring some offensive versatility up front.
