The 2020 NFL Draft process started back in the spring with the advance scouts going over the 2018 season, visiting spring practices, watching junior day workouts, and putting together their watch list for scouting staffs around the league. However, the 2020 NFL Draft kicked into high gear over the past few weeks with hundreds of scouts traveling the country attending training camp practices for college teams. WalterFootball.com reached out to sources from a variety of teams to survey what players were standouts in training camp and helped themselves to make a good initial impression on area scouts, national scouts, and directors of college scouting. Here are the players who sources said helped themselves with their practice performance:

  • Alabama safety Xavier McKinney
  • Auburn defensive end Marlon Davidson
  • Auburn defensive tackle Derrick Brown
  • Colorado quarterback Steven Montez
  • Colorado wide receiver Laviska Shenault
  • Oklahoma wide receiver CeeDee Lamb

  • Oklahoma linebacker Kenneth Murray
  • Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert
  • TCU wide receiver Jalen Reagor
  • Washington offensive tackle Jared Hilbers
  • Wyoming linebacker Logan Wilson
