Projected 40 Time: 4.58.
Combine 40 Time: 4.53.
Pro Day 40 Time: 4.58.
Vertical: . Broad: .
Projected Round (2010): 5-6.

1/25/10: Seyi Ajirotutu raised his stock at the East-West Shrine game; Marty Schottenheimer raved about him, comparing him to Vincent Jackson and Malcom Floyd.

1/19/10: Seyi Ajirotutu (try saying that one time) had 49 catches, 677 yards and seven touchdowns as a senior. He’ll be attending the Combine.

A.J. Jefferson, CB, Fresno State
Height: 6-0. Weight: 186.
Projected 40 Time: 4.48.
Combine 40 Time: 4.43.
Pro Day 40 Time: DNP.
Benchx225: 7. Vertical: 44.
Projected Round (2010): 3-4.

3/3/10: Mike Mayock repeatedly praised A.J. Jefferson during the Combine. Jefferson, who is 6-0 with long arms, ran a 4.43 and notched a 44-inch vertical. He’s a project, but has a ton of upside.

1/9/10: A poor year for A.J. Jefferson; he averaged just 23.2 yards per kickoff return – down a whole six yards from last year.

3/7/09: Not much of a corner, but A.J. Jefferson had yet another kickoff return for a touchdown as a junior. He averaged a dazzling 29.3 yards per return.

8/5/08: A.J. Jefferson is listed here as a kick returner. He scored two touchdowns on special teams last year, and even maintained the nation’s top return average. He also blocked a field goal and returned that for a score.

Ryan Mathews, RB, Fresno State Scouting Report
Height: 6-0. Weight: 217.
Projected 40 Time: 4.45.
Combine 40 Time: 4.41.
Pro Day 40 Time: 4.46.
Benchx225: 19. Vertical: 36. Broad: 10-1.
Projected Round (2010): Top 30 Pick.

3/1/10: The most impressive running back at the Combine, Ryan Mathews ran a 4.41 and notched a 10-1 broad jump. He also looked great catching the ball in the drills. It’ll be a mild upset if he falls out of the first round.

1/3/10: Ryan Mathews has declared for the 2010 NFL Draft. Mathews’ stock will never be higher than it is now, so he made the right decision.

11/7/09: Ryan Mathews is having an incredible year at Fresno State (1,316 yards, 7.4 YPC, 11 TDs in eight games). You may shrug off the fact that he plays in the WAC, but in three games against Wisconsin, Cincinnati and Boise State, Mathews has rushed for 486 yards and four touchdowns on 76 carries.

Projected 40 Time: 5.12.
Pro Day 40 Time: 5.07.
Benchx225: 16. Arm: .
Projected Round (2010): 6-7.

1/18/10: Chris Marinelli replaced Matt Kopa at the beginning of the year and played brilliantly, earning a spot on the AP All-America Second Team.

10/24/09: Continues to have issues with a shoulder injury.

2/9/09: Despite missing a couple of games with a shoulder injury, Chris Marinelli was an honorable mention on the All-Pac 10 Team.

7/27/08: Chris Marinelli was inserted into the lineup at right tackle as a freshman and never looked back. Marinelli started every game at that position as a sophomore.

Stanford

Mitch Petrus, G, Arkansas
Height: 6-3. Weight: 307.
Projected 40 Time: 5.17.
Combine 40 Time: 5.29.

Projected Round (2010): 3-4.

2/27/10: Mitch Petrus notched a whopping 45 reps of 225 pounds on Friday, tying a Combine record. The bench press doesn’t mean all that much in the long run (unless you’re Al Davis), but that’s still an impressive feat.

1/17/10: Started 12 games for Arkansas this year and qualified for the AP All-America Second Team.

2/10/09: Academically ineligible. Missed the 2008 season.

5/25/08: In his first full season as a starter, Mitch Petrus qualified for the All-SEC second team, thanks to the production of Darren McFadden and Felix Jones.

Malcolm Sheppard, DT, Arkansas

Combine 40 Time: 5.09.
Pro Day 40 Time: 5.04.

Projected Round (2010): 6-7.

1/24/10: Had 32 tackles, 10 TFL and three sacks this season.

2/12/09: An All-SEC second-teamer, Malcolm Sheppard had 16 TFL and 7.5 sacks in 2008.
