2010 NFL Draft Pro Day Results

Pro Day Dates: March 19, 2010

Pittsburgh

Nate Byham, TE, Pittsburgh
Height: 6-4. Weight: 264.
Projected 40 Time: 4.65.
Combine 40 Time: 4.97.
Pro Day 40 Time: 4.83.
Benchx225: . Vertical: . Arm: 33 1/2.
Projected Round (2010): 5-6.

1/21/10: A blocking tight end, so Josh McDaniels could be interested in the second round.

2/8/09: A good all-around tight end who can block well and make plays downfield. Nate Byham finished with 20 receptions, 260 yards and a touchdown.

Dorin Dickerson, TE, Pittsburgh
Height: 6-1. Weight: 226.
Projected 40 Time: 4.55.
Combine 40 Time: 4.40.
Benchx225: 24. Vertical: 43. Arm: 34.
Projected Round (2010): 3-4.

3/20/10: Dorin Dickerson didn’t run at his Pro Day; he performed in the drills and looked very solid.

2/28/10: Mike Mayock gushed over Dorin Dickerson throughout the Saturday workouts, stating that Dickerson “can’t drop below the second round.” Dickerson is a 225-pound tight end, but he’s a dynamic athlete (4.40 40, 43-inch vertical) and an underrated blocker. He’ll probably be in the Round 3-4 range.

10/10/09: As Pittsburgh’s goal-line back, Dorin Dickerson has six touchdowns on 20 carries through five games.

2/6/09: In his college career, Dorin Dickerson has played wide receiver, fullback, tight end and linebacker. They talked about having him as hot dog salesman, but that didn’t pan out. Dickerson caught 13 balls for 174 yards and two touchdowns as a junior.

Bill Stull, QB, Pittsburgh
Height: 6-2. Weight: 211.

1/15/10: Bill Stull’s final numbers: 21 touchdowns, eight interceptions, 8.2 YPA, 65.1 completion percentage – all of which was in a pro-style offense.

11/7/09: Will continue to rise as long as Pitt does well. His TD-INT ratio (16-4), completion percentage (67.3%) and YPA (8.4) are all impressive.

Toledo

Barry Church, SS, Toledo
Height: 6-2. Weight: 220.
Projected 40 Time: 4.58.
Combine 40 Time: 4.68.
Pro Day 40 Time: 4.64.
Benchx225: 19. Vertical: .
Projected Round (2010): 5-6.

1/14/10: An All-MAC first-teamer, Barry Church notched 98 tackles, 8.5 TFL and 2.5 sacks as a senior.

3/13/09: Had an outstanding junior campaign, qualifying for the All-MAC First Team with 93 tackles, six passes broken up and 5.5 TFL. However, Barry Church is a safety-linebacker tweener.

8/6/08: Barry Church has started every game in his collegiate career. He has also made the All-MAC first team every year in his collegiate career. In two seasons, Church has 163 tackles (15 for loss), six interceptions and 10 pass break-ups. Not bad.

Combine 40 Time: 4.48.
Pro Day 40 Time: DNP.

2/7/09: Despite being stuck with a poor 40, Stephen Williams had another productive season, catching 71 passes for 781 yards and eight scores.

7/26/08: It’s a shame Stephen Williams has an abysmal 40; he put up monstrous numbers as a sophomore at Toledo, including 1,169 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.

San Diego State

Nick Sandford, FS, San Diego State
Height: 6-1. Weight: 199.
Projected 40 Time: 4.61.
Pro Day 40 Time: 4.56.
Benchx225: . Vertical: 39.
Projected Round (2010): 6-7.

Roberto Wallace, WR, San Diego State
Height: 6-4. Weight: 223.
Projected 40 Time: 4.58.
Pro Day 40 Time: 4.41.
Vertical: 36.5. Broad: 10-3.
Projected Round (2010): 6-7.

3/19/10: Roberto Wallace can’t catch, but his size-40 combo may interest a certain undead owner on the Pacific coast.

Wayne State

Joique Bell, RB, Wayne State
Height: 5-11. Weight: 217.
Projected 40 Time: 4.57.
Combine 40 Time: 4.65.

2/6/09: Joique Bell rushed for 1,152 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2008.

7/25/08: This guy does everything for Wayne State – he carries the ball, catches passes out of the backfield, returns kicks, even sells beer and hot dogs in the stands during games.

Height: 6-6. Weight: 265.
Projected 40 Time: 4.75.
Pro Day 40 Time: 4.95.
