Summary: After sitting out of basketball for two years, White has shown what the hype surrounding him coming out of high school was all about. He is a unique talent and should be a first-round pick at the next level if teams are able to overlook his recent off-the-court issues prior to arriving at Iowa State. Since he is technically in his third year of college, his exit to the NBA could come sooner than later.
Player Comparison: Anthony Mason. This is a throwback comparison. Mason was a bit undersized but used his size, strength, and ability to handle and distribute the basketball to be an effective pro. That accurately describes what White will bring to the next level.
