QB | RB | FB | WR | TE | OT | G | C | DE | DT | NT | 3-4 OLB | 3-4 DE | OLB | ILB | CB | S | K | P

  1. D’Andre Swift*, RB, Georgia
    Height: 5-8. Weight: 212. Arm: 29.88. Hand: 9.
    40 Time: 4.48.
    Projected Round (2020): 1-2.

4/21/20: In 2019, Swift averaged 6.2 yards per carry for 1,216 yards with seven touchdowns. He had 24 receptions for 216 yards and a touchdown as well. Swift ran well for Georgia showing his speed, vision, cutting ability, and versatility. He looks like a future three-down starter with Pro Bowl potential. At the combine, Swift had an excellent workout that showed off his speed and great skill set. Some team sources think Swift could be used like Alvin Kamara in the NFL.

8/17/19: In speaking to some team area scouts, their initial impression of Swift is that they like him more than Sony Michel and believe he is faster than Nick Chubb. They think Swift could be a better prospect than Josh Jacobs but not as good as Saquon Barkley or some of the high first-round running back prospects in recent years.

It can be hard to get carries at Georgia with the program’s stable of future NFL backs, but Swift was so talented he forced his way onto the field. He flashed during his freshman year even though Sony Michel and Nick Chubb saw the majority of attempts. In 2017, Swift averaged 7.6 yards per carry for 618 yards and three touchdowns. As a sophomore, he took over as a starter and collected 1,049 yards – an average of 6.4 yards per carry – and 10 touchdowns on only 163 carries. He was also splitting touches with Elijah Holyfield in 2018. As a sophomore, Swift also contributed well as a receiver with 32 receptions for 297 yards and three touchdowns.

Swift has a good build to him with a surprising burst to hit the hole and accelerate downfield. He has a lot of upside and should enter the NFL without much wear and tear due to the Georgia backfield platoon.

  2. Jonathan Taylor*, RB, Wisconsin
    Height: 5-10. Weight: 226. Arm: 31.13. Hand: 9.5.
    40 Time: 4.39.
    Projected Round (2020): 1-2.

4/21/20: Taylor was a combine star, putting up a ridiculous 40-yard dash time. He showed that he could be a game-changing back for the next level given his size, speed, and running ability.

Taylor rolled over the competition in 2019, displaying his combination of power, quickness, vision, cutting ability, and a tremendous stiff arm. He averaged 6.3 yards per carry in 2019 for 2,003 yards with 21 touchdowns. He had 26 receptions for 252 yards and five touchdowns as well. His improved ability as a receiver really helped his draft stock. However, his 17 career fumbles is a serious negative to some evaluators.

Per sources, three teams had Taylor graded as a second-round pick and nine teams had a first-round grade on Taylor at the end of the season. He is worthy of going in the top 20 as a player but where he lands will depend a lot on team needs. Taylor could slip to the second round because of teams waiting to take a running back. Some sources also don’t like the large number of carries he had at Wisconsin and his ball-security issues.

8/17/19: As a sophomore, Taylor averaged 7.1 yards per carry for 2,194 yards with 16 touchdowns. He had eight receptions for 60 yards as well. Taylor broke out in 2017, averaging 6.6 yards per carry for 1,977 yards with 13 touchdowns.

Taylor has a nice combination of size, quickness, and natural running skills. With a good offensive line and an easy 2019 schedule, he should put together another year of good production.

  3. Clyde Edwards-Helaire*, RB, LSU
    Height: 5-7. Weight: 207. Arm: 29. Hand: 9.63.
    40 Time: 4.60.
    Projected Round (2020): 2-3.

4/21/20: Edwards-Helaire was a dangerous runner and receiver for the Tigers in 2019, doing a lot of dirty work for their point-machine offense. The junior averaged 6.6 yards per carry in 2019 for 1,414 yards with 16 touchdowns. He also had 55 receptions for 453 yards and a score. Edwards-Helaire is a tough runner with quickness, cutting ability, vision, and natural body lean. His natural receiving skills make him a potential three-down starter.

  4. Cam Akers*, RB, Florida State
    Height: 5-10. Weight: 217. Arm: 30.63. Hand: 9.
    40 Time: 4.47.
    Projected Round (2020): 2-3.

4/21/20: Akers averaged 5.0 yards per carry in 2019 for 1,144 yards with 14 touchdowns. He also hauled in 30 receptions for 225 yards and four scores. Akers played well for the Seminoles, showing good running and receiving ability while playing behind a shaky offensive line. Some team sources say Akers reminds them of Kareem Hunt.

8/17/19: Akers has played well for Florida State despite having an awful offensive line in front of him. In 2018, he averaged 4.4 yards per carry for 706 yards with six touchdowns. He also caught 23 passes for 145 yards with two scores. Akers played well as a freshman with an average of 5.3 yards per carry for 1,024 yards with seven touchdowns. He caught 16 passes for 116 yards and a score that season.

  5. J.K. Dobbins*, RB, Ohio State
    Height: 5-9. Weight: 210. Arm: 29.75. Hand: 9.5.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.50.
    Projected Round (2020): 2-3.

4/21/20: Dobbins averaged 6.7 yards per carry in 2019 for 2,003 yards with 21 touchdowns. He had 23 receptions for 247 yards and two touchdowns as well. Dobbins fumbled against Florida Atlantic, Penn State and Michigan. He was a tough runner for Ohio State, showing starting ability for the NFL with size, strength, the ability to run through contact, and quickness to rip off chunk runs.

8/17/19: Dobbins averaged 4.6 yards per carry in 2018 for 1,053 yards with 10 touchdowns. He also made 26 receptions for 263 yards. Mike Weber was supposed to be the next star running back at Ohio State in 2017, but an injury slowed him down to start the season. The Buckeyes turned to Dobbins and never looked back, as the freshman dominated the competition. Dobbins averaged 7.2 yards per carry for 1,403 yards with seven touchdowns on the year. He also had 22 receptions for 135 yards and a touchdown. Dobbins has a fast first-step and is dangerous to break off long runs on any carry.

  6. Zack Moss, RB, Utah
    Height: 5-9. Weight: 223. Arm: 31.25. Hand: 9.25.
    40 Time: 4.65.
    Projected Round (2020): 2-4.

4/21/20: Moss averaged six yards per carry in 2019 for 1,416 yards and 15 touchdowns. He also had 28 catches for 388 yards and two scores. Some sources believe Moss is a second- or third-round pick as they feel he is a tough runner with a good build. However, a good medical report leading up to the 2020 NFL Draft is needed, as some teams have medical concerns about him. Moss was a workhorse for the Utes as a power runner with quickness and receiving ability. He put together an excellent 2019 season.

8/17/19: Moss impressed evaluators in 2018, carrying the Utes’ offense on their way to a 9-5 season. On the year, he averaged 6.1 yards per carry for 1,096 yards with 11 touchdowns. As a sophomore in 2017, he averaged 5.5 yards per carry for 1,173 yards with 10 touchdowns. He had 29 receptions for 243 yards that season.

  7. A.J. Dillon, RB/FB, Boston College
    Height: 6-0. Weight: 247. Arm: 31.63. Hand: 9.63.
    40 Time: 4.53.
    Projected Round (2020): 3-5.

4/21/20: Dillon really helped himself at the combine with an excellent 40-yard dash time for a back as large as him. Team sources said Dillon really helped himself in Indianapolis. Dillon averaged 5.3 yards per carry in 2019 for 1,685 yards with 14 touchdowns. He also made 13 catches for 195 yards and a touchdown. Dillon is a potential rotational power back for the NFL.

8/17/19: The power back Dillon has been a tough runner in the ACC over the past two seasons. In 2018, Dillon averaged 4.9 yards per carry for 1,108 yards with 10 touchdowns. He also had eight receptions for 41 yards and a score. Dillon put together a big 2017 season, averaging 5.3 yards per carry for 1,589 yards with 14 touchdowns. He made zero receptions. Dillon could be a candidate to move to fullback in the NFL.

  8. Ke’Shawn Vaughn, RB, Vanderbilt
    Height: 5-9. Weight: 205. Arm: 31. Hand: 8.5.
    40 Time: 4.51.
    Projected Round (2020): 3-5.

4/21/20: In 2019, Vaughn averaged 5.2 yards per carry for 1,028 yards with nine touchdowns. He had 29 receptions for 286 yards and a touchdown too. Vaughn displayed some serious strength through contact, flat out running over some defenders. At the Senior Bowl, Vaughn had a solid week of practice.

8/17/19: In 2018, Vaughn averaged 7.9 yards per carry for 1,244 yards with 12 touchdowns. He also caught 13 passes for 170 yards with two touchdowns. Vaughn made it on NFL teams’ preseason watch lists.

  9. Joshua Kelley, RB, UCLA
    Height: 5-11. Weight: 214. Arm: 32.38. Hand: 9.25.
    40 Time: 4.49.
    Projected Round (2020): 3-5.

4/21/20: Kelley was benched in the season opener against Cincinnati, but returned to the lineup and played well. On the year, Kelley averaged 4.6 yards per carry for 1,060 yards and 11 touchdowns. He had 11 receptions for 71 yards and a touchdown as well. Team sources said they were impressed with Kelley’s running ability at the Senior Bowl, and believed he helped himself in Mobile. That trend continued at the combine, where Kelley ran a faster than expected, recording an excellent 40 time for a big back.

8/17/19: Kelley started out his college career at UC Davis, where he totaled 1,139 yards and seven touchdowns over two seasons. He sat out 2017 after transferring, and then had a breakout year for the Bruins in 2018, averaging 5.5 yards per carry for 1,243 yards and 12 touchdowns. Kelley took 27 receptions for 193 yards as well. His production could climb in his second year with Chip Kelly.

  10. J.J. Taylor*, RB, Arizona
    Height: 5-5. Weight: 185. Arm: 28.75. Hand: 8.5.
    40 Time: 4.61.
    Projected Round (2020): 4-6.

4/21/20: Some team sources like Taylor more than Arizona State’s Eno Benjamin, who has received more media hype and early-round draft projections. While Taylor does not have the size to be a three-down starter in the NFL, he is put together well and some evaluators think he could be used similarly to the Bears’ Tarik Cohen. Other team sources aren’t has high on him and think he is more of a mid-round backup.

In 2019, Taylor averaged 4.9 yards per carry for 721 yards with five touchdowns. He had 32 receptions for 289 yards as well. Last year, he averaged 5.6 yards per carry for 1,434 yards with six scores. Taylor is a sleeper prospect who some teams are eyeing as a rotational back who could function well in a certain role.

  11. Darrynton Evans*, RB, Appalachian State
    Height: 5-10. Weight: 203. Arm: 31.63. Hand: 9.25
    40 Time: 4.41.
    Projected Round (2020): 4-6.

4/21/20: In 2019, Evans averaged 5.8 yards per carry 1,480 yards with 18 touchdowns. He had 21 receptions for 198 yards and five scores as well. Evans averaged 6.6 yards per carry in 2018 for 1,1876 yards and seven scores. He had 12 catches for 87 yards and a score. Evans is undersized for the NFL, but he could be a backup and rotational back. After his last two seasons at Appalachian State, it made sense for Evans to enter the 2020 NFL Draft. He had a good combine performance with a fast 40 to help his draft stock.

  12. Eno Benjamin, RB, Arizona State
    Height: 5-9. Weight: 207. Arm: 30.75. Hand: 8.38.
    40 Time: 4.57.
    Projected Round (2020): 4-6.

4/21/20: Benjamin averaged 4.3 yards per carry in 2019 for 1,083 yards with 10 touchdowns. He had 33 receptions for 347 yards and two scores as well. Some sources say Benjamin is more of a change-of-pace back for the NFL. He had a solid, but unimpressive, week at the Senior Bowl.

8/17/19: Team sources have told me that Benjamin jumped out at them, and they’re excited to see him in 2019. In 2018, Benjamin took on a big work load of 300 carries that he turned into 1,642 yards – 5.5 average – with 16 touchdowns. He also caught 35 passes for 263 yards and two touchdowns. Benjamin isn’t the biggest of backs, but he held up well with his huge workload in 2018.

  13. Darius Anderson, RB, TCU
    Height: 5-11. Weight: 195. Arm: 31. Hand: 9.63.
    40 Time: 4.61.
    Projected Round (2020): 4-6.

4/21/20: Jet Anderson is a quick change-of-pace back for the NFL who could be a nice contributor in the passing game. As a senior, he averaged 5.4 yards per carry for 823 yards with six touchdowns. He also made 22 receptions for 128 yards. Anderson had a good week at the Senior Bowl, showing his quickness, vision, cutting ability, and instincts. He could be nice mid-round pick to be a solid backup and rotational back. Anderson was surprisingly slow in the 40 at the combine.

  14. Benny LeMay, RB, Charlotte
    Height: 5-8. Weight: 221. Arm: 29.88. Hand: 9.
    40 Time: 4.75.
    Projected Round (2020): 4-6.

4/21/20: In 2019, LeMay averaged 5.6 yards per carry for 1,072 yards and nine touchdowns. He had 19 receptions for 242 yards and four touchdowns too.

8/17/19: In 2018, LeMay averaged 5.3 yards per carry for 1,228 yards with 11 touchdowns. He also caught 21 passes for 282 yards. LeMay is short but thickly built. His strong play landed him on NFL teams’ preseason watch lists.

  15. Rico Dowdle, RB, South Carolina
    Height: 5-11. Weight: 213. Arm: 31.38. Hand: 9.5.
    40 Time: 4.54.
    Projected Round (2020): 4-6.

4/21/20: In 2019, Dowdle averaged 4.7 yards per carry for 498 yards with four touchdowns. He had 22 receptions for 167 yards as well. Dowdle ran for 654 yards as a junior and 764 yards as a freshman. He put together a solid combine performance to help himself.

  16. Michael Warren II*, RB, Cincinnati
    Height: 5-9. Weight: 226. Arm: 29.5. Hand: 9.13.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.58.
    Projected Round (2020): 5-7.

4/21/20: Warren was a tough running back for Cincinnati over the past few seasons. He was a bell-cow power back for the Bearcats, taking on a lot of carries and churning out tough yardage. The junior averaged 4.8 yards per carry in 2019 for 1,265 yards and 14 touchdowns. He had 21 receptions for 153 yards and two touchdowns as well. In 2018, Warren averaged 5.4 yards per carry for 1,329 yards with 19 touchdowns. He had 25 catches for 232 yards and a score that season. Showing speed in pre-draft workouts would have increased his potential to rise, but the COVID-19 pandemic prevented those events.

  17. Tony Jones Jr.*, RB, Notre Dame
    Height: 5-10. Weight: 220. Arm: 30.63. Hand: 9.5.
    40 Time: 4.68.
    Projected Round (2020): 5-7.

4/21/20: Jones averaged six yards per carry in 2019 for 857 yards and six touchdowns. He had 15 receptions for 104 yards and a score as well. Over the previous two seasons, Jones was a backup for the Fighting Irish. He probably should have returned to Notre Dame for his senior year.

  18. Patrick Taylor Jr., RB, Memphis
    Height: 6-1. Weight: 217. Arm: 32.25. Hand: 9.38.
    40 Time: 4.57.
    Projected Round (2020): 5-7.

4/21/20: Taylor averaged 4.5 yards per carry in 2019 for 350 yards and five touchdowns. He also had eight receptions for 52 yards. Taylor missed all of the games in September and October with an undisclosed injury he sustained in Week 1. In the season opener, he showed some strength to break tackles and contact balance to maintain his feet after getting hit. Taylor has a nice combination of instincts, vision, quickness and power.

8/17/19: In 2018, Taylor ran for 1,122 yards on 208 attempts, averaging 5.4 yards per carry with 15 touchdowns. He also had 17 receptions for 197 yards. With Darrell Henderson and Tony Pollard moving onto the NFL, Taylor should take a larger role in 2019.

  19. Lamical Perine, RB, Florida
    Height: 5-11. Weight: 216. Arm: 31.63. Hand: 10.25.
    40 Time: 4.62.
    Projected Round (2020): 5-7.

4/21/20: In 2019, Perine averaged 5.1 yards per carry for 676 yards with six touchdowns. He also had 40 receptions for 262 yards and five scores. The Florida offensive line’s youth and inexperience led to some poor rushing lanes for Perine, but he came up with some huge clutch plays for the Gators by making things happen on his own. He is a tough runner and quality receiver.

8/17/19: Perine was an impressive runner for the Gators in 2018. They used a committee approach to the carries, but Perine made the most of his opportunities. On only 134 carries, Perine totaled 826 yards – 6.2 average – and seven touchdowns. He also had 13 receptions for 170 yards. As a sophomore, Perine averaged 4.1 yards per carry for 562 yards with eight touchdowns. Perine is a natural runner who has a strong build to break tackles and pick up yards after contact. He also has patience and good vision. Perine has upside to develop and team sources think he could be a better prospect than other backs who have received more hype.

  20. DeeJay Dallas*, RB, Miami
    Height: 5-10. Weight: 217. Arm: 30.63. Hand: 9.25.
    40 Time: 4.58.
    Projected Round (2020): 5-7.

4/21/20: Dallas averaged six yards per carry in 2019 for 693 yards with eight touchdowns. He also made 14 receptions for 140 yards and two scores through the air. Dallas should have returned for his senior year, but he entered the 2020 NFL Draft.

  21. Larry Rountree III, RB, Missouri
    Height: 5-10. Weight: 210.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.55.
    Projected Round (2020): 5-7.

4/21/20: Rountree averaged 4.5 yards per carry in 2019 for 829 yards with nine scores. He also made 13 receptions for 70 yards.

8/17/19: Rountree ran well for Missouri in 2018, averaging 5.4 yards per carry for 1,216 yards with 11 touchdowns. He also had 14 receptions for 62 yards. In 2017, Rountree averaged 5.6 yards per carry for 703 yards with six scores. Rountree could be the bell-cow back for the Tigers in 2019 with Damarea Crockett in the NFL.

  22. Antonio Gibson, RB, Memphis
    Height: 6-0. Weight: 223. Arm: 31. Hand: 8.25.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.58.
    Projected Round (2020): 5-7.

4/21/20: Gibson took advantage of his limited opportunities in 2019 to be very productive. Over only 33 carries, he averaged 11.2 yards per attempt for 369 yards and four scores. He caught 38 passes for 735 yards with eight scores as well.

  23. Raymond Calais, RB, La.-Lafayette
    Height: 5-8. Weight: 188. Arm: 30. Hand: 9.25
    40 Time: 4.57.
    Projected Round (2020): 5-7.

4/21/20: Calais averaged 7.7 yards per carry in 2019 for 867 yards for six touchdowns. He also had eight receptions for 69 yards.

8/17/19: Louisiana had three running backs land on NFL teams’ preseason watch lists, and Calais earned a spot despite getting only 81 carries in 2018. He did a lot of damage in those limited attempts, averaging 9.3 yards per carry for 754 yards with seven touchdowns. Teammates Trey Ragas and Elijah Mitchell are bigger, but Calais is a smaller shifty back who challenges defenses.

  24. Anthony McFarland, RB, Maryland
    Height: 5-8. Weight: 208. Arm: 30.38. Hand: 8.88.
    40 Time: 4.44.
    Projected Round (2020): 5-7.

4/21/20: McFarland is a smaller change-of-pace back, but he has some serious speed for the NFL as evidenced by his combine performance. In 2019, he averaged 5.4 yards per carry for 614 yards and eight touchdowns. He made 17 receptions for 126 yards and a score as well. McFarland averaged 7.9 yards per carry in 2018 for 1,034 yards with four touchdowns.

  25. Elijah Mitchell, RB, La.-Lafayette
    Height: 5-11. Weight: 221.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.57.
    Projected Round (2020): 6-FA.

4/21/20: In 2019, Mitchell averaged 5.8 yards per carry for 1,092 yards and 15 touchdowns. He notched 10 receptions for 70 yards.

8/17/19: In a talented backfield with teammates Trey Ragas and Raymond Calais, Mitchell is a thick power back who made it onto NFL teams’ preseason watch lists. In 2018, Mitchell averaged 6.7 yards per carry for 977 yards with 13 touchdowns. He had 20 receptions for 349 yards and three scores.

  26. Scottie Phillips, RB, Ole Miss
    Height: 5-8. Weight: 209. Arm: 29.38. Hand: 8.5.
    40 Time: 4.56.
    Projected Round (2020): 6-FA.

4/21/20: In 2019, Phillips averaged 4.3 yards per carry for 542 yards with five touchdowns. He also had eight receptions for 77 yards. Phillips missed lots of time with an ankle injury and medical issues could cause him to be a late-round pick.

Phillips is a short back who is very thick and strong and has some real power. He can flat out run over some tacklers with violence and shows a serious ability to pick up yards after contact. On top of his physicality, Phillips has a burst with quickness to the edge and speed to hit the hole before it closes. Phillips may not have the size to be a bell-cow back who is a true three-down starter in the NFL, but if he’s healthy, he could be a good rotational backup.

8/17/19: In 2018, Phillips averaged 6.1 yards per carry for 928 yards and 12 touchdowns. He also had 10 receptions for 105 yards. Phillips showed a nice skill set and looked capable of producing more, but playing on a struggling and rebuilding team cut down on his opportunities to carry the ball.

  27. Javon Leake*, RB, Maryland
    Height: 6-0. Weight: 215. Arm: 31.5. Hand: 9.63.
    40 Time: 4.66.
    Projected Round (2020): 6-FA.

4/21/20: In 2019, Leake averaged 7.2 yards per carry for 736 yards and eight touchdowns. He had nine receptions for 55 yards as well. He should have returned for his senior year, but he entered the 2020 NFL Draft.

  28. JaMycal Hasty, RB, Baylor
    Height: 5-8. Weight: 203. Arm: 31. Hand: 9.25.
    40 Time: 4.55.
    Projected Round (2020): 6-FA.

4/21/20: In 2019, Hasty averaged 5.8 yards per carry for 627 yards with seven touchdowns. He had 25 receptions for 184 yards as well. Team sources say Hasty was given late-round grades.

8/17/19: In 2018, Hasty averaged 5.3 yards per carry for 434 yards with four touchdowns. He also caught 26 passes for 170 yards and a score. His most productive season came in his freshman year with 623 yards on 119 carries – a 5.2-yard average – with three touchdowns. Hasty had 51 receptions for 275 yards and a touchdown over his sophomore and junior year. NFL teams put Hasty on their preseason watch lists.

  29. Juwan Washington, RB, San Diego State
    Height: 5-7. Weight: 190.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.56.
    Projected Round (2020): 6-FA.

8/17/19: Washington is an undersized back, but he could contend to be selected in the 2020 NFL Draft. In 2018, he averaged five yards per carry for 999 yards with 10 touchdowns. NFL teams have Washington on their preseason watch lists.

  30. Kelton Moore, RB/FB, Nevada
    Height: 5-11. Weight: 240.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.54.
    Projected Round (2020): 6-FA.

4/21/20: Moore averaged 3.7 yards per carry in 2019 for 126 yards and two touchdowns. He also had six receptions for 17 yards.

8/17/19: Moore is a big back who has done enough to make it on NFL teams’ preseason watch lists as a potential third-day prospect for the 2020 NFL Draft. In 2018, he averaged 4.8 yards per carry for 433 yards with four touchdowns. In 2017, he averaged 5.2 yards per carry for 855 yards with four touchdowns. Over those two seasons, he totaled 39 receptions with a touchdown.

    Height: 5-10. Weight: 215. Arm: 29.38. Hand: 8.5.
    40 Time: 4.64.

  32. Kennedy McCoy, RB, West Virginia
    Height: 6-0. Weight: 198.

    Projected Round (2020): 6-FA.

4/21/20: McCoy averaged 3.3 yards per carry in 2019 for 323 yards and three touchdowns. He totaled 37 receptions for 167 yards and a touchdown.

8/17/19: In 2018, McCoy averaged 5.5 yards per carry for 802 yards with eight touchdowns. He could take on a bigger role in 2019 with West Virginia breaking in a new quarterback. McCoy did enough to earn a spot on NFL teams’ preseason watch lists.

  33. Darius Bradwell, RB/FB, Tulane
    Height: 6-1. Weight: 230.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.60.
    Projected Round (2020): 6-FA.

4/21/20: For 2019, Bradwell averaged 4.4 yards per carry for 448 yards and two touchdowns. He had three catches for 13 yards as well.

    Projected Round (2020): 6-FA.

4/21/20: In 2019, Ward averaged 6.1 yards per carry for 1,108 yards and 15 touchdowns. He had 34 receptions for 329 yards and a touchdown as well.

8/17/19: Ward was limited in 2018, but in 2017, he had a solid season, putting up an average of 5.7 yards per carry for 1,017 yards with 10 touchdowns. He had 48 receptions for 470 yards with three scores as well. Ward needs to stay healthy and productive in 2019, but he did make it onto NFL teams’ preseason watch lists.

  35. LeVante Bellamy, RB, Western Michigan
    Height: 5-9. Weight: 192. Arm: 30.25. Arm: 8.75.
    40 Time: 4.50.
    Projected Round (2020): 6-FA.

4/21/20: Bellamy averaged 5.5 yards per carry in 2019 for 1,472 yards and 23 touchdowns. He also made 15 receptions for 55 yards.

8/17/19: In 2018, Bellamy averaged six yards per carry for 1,228 yards for six touchdowns. He also had 30 receptions for 185 yards with a touchdown. Staying healthy is critical for Bellamy, who suffered season-ending injuries in both 2017 – six games played – and in 2016 – three games played. Bellamy made it onto NFL teams’ preseason watch lists.

  36. Deshawn McClease*, RB, Virginia Tech
    Height: 5-9. Weight: 190.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.52.
    Projected Round (2020): 6-FA.

4/21/20: McClease is an undersized change-of-pace back for the NFL. In 2019, he averaged 4.8 yards per carry for 843 yards and seven touchdowns with 11 receptions for 70 yards. McClease made modest contributions as a sophomore and a freshman.

  37. Pete Guerriero*, RB, Monmouth
    Height: 5-10. Weight: 190.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.57.
    Projected Round (2020): 6-FA.

4/21/20: Guerriero put together a monster 2019 season for Monmouth, averaging 6.7 yards per carry for 1,995 yards with 18 touchdowns. The junior had 32 receptions for 336 yards and two scores as well. In his previous seasons, Guerriero turned in solid production for the Hawks. He could stand to get bigger for the NFL, but he could be an interesting competitor as a backup running back and special teams contributor.

  38. Salvon Ahmed*, RB, Washington
    Height: 5-11. Weight: 197. Arm: 29.25. Hand: 8.75.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.57.

4/21/20: Ahmed was decent in 2019 for Washington and enjoyed running behind a talented offense line. He averaged 5.4 yards per carry on 188 attempts for 1,020 yards with 11 touchdowns. He had 16 reception for 84 yards as well. Ahmed could compete to be a backup in the NFL, but he will need to be a star on special teams to make an NFL roster.

  39. Toren Young*, RB, Iowa
    Height: 6-1. Weight: 220.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.56.
    Projected Round (2020): 7-FA.

4/21/20: Young graduated and entered the 2020 NFL Draft even though it could be a long shot that he gets selected. In 2019, he averaged 5.3 yards per carry for 432 yards with a touchdown. His best season came in 2018 with an average of 4.7 yards per carry for 637 yards and five scores. Young probably would have been better off transferring and putting together a more impressive final season before trying to make it in the NFL.

  40. Jaqwis Dancy, RB, Louisiana Tech
    Height: 5-11. Weight: 194.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.55.
    Projected Round (2020): 7-FA.

4/21/20: Dancy averaged 4.7 yards per carry in 2019 for 207 yards with two touchdowns. He recorded nine receptions for 65 yards too.

8/17/19: Dancy had only 667 yards on 124 carries – 5.4 average – in 2018, but on those limited opportunities, he totaled nine touchdowns. Dancy did enough to get on NFL teams’ preseason watch lists.

  41. Loren Easly, RB, North Texas
    Height: 5-11. Weight: 197.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.54.
    Projected Round (2020): 7-FA.

4/21/20: Easly averaged 4.4 yards per carry in 2019 for 243 yards with a touchdown.

  42. Chris Evans, RB, Michigan
    Height: 5-11. Weight: 216.
    Projected 40 Time: 4.56.
    Projected Round (2020): FA.

4/21/20: Evans did not play in 2019 due to dealing with academic issues.

8/17/19: Evans made it onto NFL teams’ preseason watch lists, but that was before he was suspended for the 2019 season by head coach Jim Harbaugh. In 2018, Evans averaged 5.2 yards per carry for 423 yards with four touchdowns. He also had 18 receptions for 148 yards and a touchdown.
