NFL Season Weekly Schedule Change

I've posted my NFL Picks on Tuesday and my NFL Mock Draft plus fantasy rankings on Wednesday during the NFL season for a very long time. However, I've decided to revise my weekly schedule. Here's what the new schedule will look like:
Tuesday: LIVE 2013 NFL Mock Draft, Weekly Fantasy Football Rankings.
Wednesday: NFL Picks (posted live, as usual).
The two days are basically just switched, but with the NFL Mock Draft being completed in the afternoon instead of the evening.
Some of you may not like change, but let me assure you that there are three benefits to this:
1. I've received many requests for my weekly fantasy football rankings to be posted prior to waivers, which are typically Tuesday night. I'll finally be able to have those on the site prior to waivers.
2. Yes, a live NFL Mock Draft. I'll post my selections live, just as I do with my NFL picks. I've never done this before, but it should be fun to get instant reaction.
3. An extra day will give me more time to perhaps improve my NFL picks, which are struggling right now, to say the least.
I hope you all like this change. I'm not sure what I feel about it quite yet, but I hope it works out.

Walt,
I originally had my reservations about the move to Wednesday's with our office pool and a weekly Thursday game now. Then I figured, i do ave until Thursday afternoonn to submit my pool so I may as well give it a shot. However, I am now beginning to get nervous as it is already past 1pm on Wednesday and you haven't handicapped a single game!?!? I think the change will be seemless but I think you need to start working on it earlier

Sometimes a change can do you good, Walt. I think this will help you to get out of your rut. If anything, thinking more about fantasy and how that affects the public's perceptions of the teams might give you better insight into how the house comes up with their odds.

Sounds like a good idea to me. That is quite a lot to write up following a whole day of football Sunday and Monday night spillover. It's a lot easier to start with rankings for the following week than making picks.

I had one of the requests for the earlier submission of the weekly rankings! I was definitely always frustrated trying to think like Walter when getting in the defensive pick before the waiver wire and sometimes barely missing the golden picks. Walter keeps this site free to everyone and is still actively trying to make his site better, which to me is testament that he truly cares about the opinions of his readers! Two thumbs up for all the great stuff you put out every week! Now lets work some magic and get me BACK to the finals in both my leagues! Couldn't do it without you and I would pay for your insight if u charged! I also wish that there were more people who cared about being good at what they do as much as you! ie the DMV, Cable company, Utility service, Marshal Faulk... I rest my case.
