Alabama vs. Florida (1st Half Only)


Ahmad Black

1st - 14:52 - Nice angle in run support ... good involvement ... sound tackling technique and wraps up

1st - 1:04 - Solid speed across field ... chases down RB Richardson

1st - 0:02 - Solid speed in off man to close on football and make tackle ... Lacks low 4.4 speed


Julio Jones

2nd - 3:50 - Dropped pass and loses focus ... nice throw from QB


Janoris Jenkins

1st - 11:27 - Nice angle and patience in gap discipline ... clean tackle and wraps up

1st - 0:35 - Opens hips around too early vs. WR Julio Jones ... gets turned around

1st - 0:02 - Has speed to turn and run with WR Julio Jones

2nd - 6:17 - Very poor awareness in zone ... has responsibility of TE in seam and reacts to late to play ... TD Alabama


Don'ta Hightower

1st- 8:16 - Slow, sluggish, late to play ... delivers big hit

2nd - 14:16 - Slow and bad instincts ... soft and doesn't take on block ... passive on the field


Marcell Dareus

1st - 7:38 - Nice job getting leverage ... good strength to absorb block ... gets involved and tackles ballcarrier

1st - 5:55 - Very quick off ball ... slow motion says he was offsides but officials didn't call it ... nice anticipation regardless

1st - 5:40 - Nice hand use ... excellent power ... great motor and competes ...love his bull rush here

1st - 3:50 - Shows outstanding lower body strength here in holding his ground despite a great fight by RG

2nd - 3:07 - Beautiful stack and shed ... very very strong ... shows fluid athleticism in making tackle ... great play


Mark Barron

1st - 5:09 - Missed open field tackle on reverse

2nd - 0:55 - Way too high in backpedal ... commits pass interference on pass breakup and not called for it


Will Hill

1st - 2:21 - Nice instincts on pass breakup ... good diagnosage here

1st - 1:04 - Mediocre speed and gets blown by to sideline ... can't close


Mark Ingram

1st - 1:47 - Nice speed and acceleration once ball is in his hands on checkdown screen


Trent Richardson

2nd - 11:40 - Shows very mediocre vision on this play in direct snap formation ... poor instincts ... should have had much larger gain on this play - great blocking by OL

2nd - 9:50 - Nice job lowershing shoulders prior to contact and showing nice power in breaking head-on tackle ... shows good speed and toughness on this straight-ahead run
