2011 Senior Bowl Day 3 Practice: Stock
2011 NFL Draft Stock Up: Senior Bowl Day 3 Practice
James Carpenter, OT/G, Alabama James Carpenter has looked better than expected at the Senior Bowl, showing improved footwork during the practices.
Rodney Hudson, G, Florida State Rodney Hudson didn't stand a chance against Phil Taylor - 50 pounds separate the two - but looked pretty good otherwise during Wednesday's practice.
Colin Kaepernick, QB, Nevada Colin Kaepernick has been the most impressive quarterback at the Senior Bowl. He's not ready to play coming out of the Pistol offense, but he can make every throw and has a ton of upside.
Ryan Kerrigan, DE, Purdue I thought Ryan Kerrigan was better today. He looked good standing up, and he beat Nate Solder during live action.
Greg Salas, WR, Hawaii As forum member Mycarman called him, "The Hawaiian Salsa Guy," Greg Salas really showed off his great hands during Senior Bowl practice. He's solidified his status as a Round 3-4 slot receiver.
Nate Solder, OT, Colorado I don't think Nate Solder has been impressive at the Senior Bowl. But he gets a "stock up" because Mike Mayock keeps talking about Solder being the next Tony Boselli. Hopefully that's the pre-Texans Boselli.
Danny Watkins, G, Baylor Danny Watkins would be a high second-round pick if he weren't 27 years old. He looks great. A team ready to win now may take him in the third round.
2011 NFL Draft Stock Down: Senior Bowl Day 2 Practice
Allen Bailey, DE/DT, Miami Allen Bailey has been struggling in one-on-one matchups all week. He couldn't get by Derek Sherrod, which is understandable. But then Bailey looked helpless against James Carpenter, a mid-round prospect. Something's wrong here.
Jeremy Beal, DE, Oklahoma Another poor day for Jeremy Beal. He didn't look right standing up and has been ineffective in the one-on-one drills all week.
Kris O'Dowd, C, USC Kris O'Dowd just doesn't look good. He's been overmatched in nearly every one-on-one drill this week.
Courtney Smith, WR, Southern Alabama As GameCenter member Taton would put it, "Come on C. Smith quit incomplete!!!! How many pass drop could be catch!!!!" Translation: Courtney Smith continued to drop passes Wednesday.

You could also say that Geno Smith was a big winner as well.
It sounds like Lane Johnson did well enough to be taken at #11 by Chargers if Eric Fisher is off the board.

I meant to say surprised his stock wasnt down, in regards to Glennon. All of the North quarterbacks stunk, IMO

I thought Baccari Rambo had a good game.
Also, Mike Glennon did not impress me at all. Surprised his stock listed as down by you. He made a lot of awful throws to wide-open receivers.

What do you think about Leon Mcfadden. I spent the last week watching footage of CB's(And RB's) and came away impressed with him. I kind of feel he could be the Casey Hayward of this coming draft. He isn't huge but makes up for it with aggressiveness(Still has good size and is well built). Has good ball skills and instincts.
Was him not playing in the game the reason his stock wasn't rising.
You're a Joke must be an idiot.

Who in the world said Landry Jones improved his stock. If they did how could you possibly agree with that. It doesn't take a professional scout to see he had a bad week and just a horrible game overall. Don't believe everything you read or thought you read(No1 said he improved his stock over this week)
I can't comprehend how you could call some1 ignorant as you comment about something you have no clue about. The Human race has yet amazed me again. |
