NFL Week 3 Fantasy Football Rankings

To differentiate between all the "Start 'Ems" on my Fantasy Football Start Em, Sit Em page, you can check out the Weekly Fantasy Football Rankings, so you can figure out whom to start between Player X and Player Y.

Below are my fantasy TE rankings and a set of links for my positional Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings. Keep in mind that this list is for this week only; not the entire rest of the season. If you don't like my rankings, check out Chet's fantasy football rankings.

The rankings are based on a Traditional scoring system. Each player has Walterfootball.com's projected stats and standard scoring points.

But who do I start...

Updated - Follow @walterfootball for updates.
  1. Rob Gronkowski, TE, Patriots (at Lions)- 20 Points
    5 Catches, 80 Receiving Yards, 2 TDs.
The Jaguars had other-worldly linebackers to defend Rob Gronkowski. The Lions' linebackers can't cover anyone.

  2. Travis Kelce, TE, Chiefs (vs. 49ers)- 13 Points
    5 Catches, 70 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
The 49ers figure to be better against tight ends going forward with Reuben Foster back from suspension, but Travis Kelce is still a top play.

  3. George Kittle, TE, 49ers (at Chiefs)- 12 Points
    5 Catches, 60 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Jesse James just tore up the Kansas City linebackers, so George Kittle should have similar success.

  4. O.J. Howard, TE, Bucs (vs. Steelers)- 12 Points
    4 Catches, 60 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Pittsburgh's linebacking corps was not repaired this offseason.

  5. Trey Burton, TE, Bears (at Cardinals)- 11 Points
    3 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Arizona's awful defense can't defend tight ends.

  6. Zach Ertz, TE, Eagles (vs. Colts)- 11 Points
    3 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Zach Ertz is a stud, so start him despite Indianapolis' improved linebacking corps.

  7. Jared Cook, TE, Raiders (at Dolphins)- 11 Points
    3 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
The Dolphins have a suspect linebacking corps, so Jared Cook could do well.

  8. Jordan Reed, TE, Redskins (vs. Packers)- 11 Points
    4 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
The Packers' poor linebackers just allowed Kyle Rudolph to have a big game, so I like Jordan Reed's chances this week.

  9. Kyle Rudolph, TE, Vikings (vs. Bills)- 11 Points
    3 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Buffalo's linebackers struggle to cover, so Kyle Rudolph has a nice matchup.

  10. Evan Engram, TE, Giants (at Texans)- 9 Points
    3 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Perhaps Evan Engram will catch another garbage-time touchdown.

  11. Jimmy Graham, TE, Packers (at Redskins)- 8 Points
    2 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards, 1 TD.
Jimmy Graham doesn't have the same dream matchup this week.

  12. Jesse James, TE, Steelers (at Bucs)- 6 Points
    4 Catches, 60 Receiving Yards.

  13. David Njoku, TE, Browns (vs. Jets)- 5 Points
    3 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards.

  14. Mike Gesicki, TE, Dolphins (vs. Raiders)- 5 Points
    3 Catches, 50 Receiving Yards.

  15. Charles Clay, TE, Bills (at Vikings)- 4 Points
    3 Catches, 40 Receiving Yards.

  16. Ricky Seals-Jones, TE, Cardinals (vs. Bears)- 4 Points
    3 Catches, 40 Receiving Yards.

  17. Eric Ebron, TE, Colts (at Eagles)- 4 Points
    3 Catches, 40 Receiving Yards.

  18. Jack Doyle, TE, Colts (at Eagles)- 4 Points
    3 Catches, 40 Receiving Yards.

  19. Ben Watson, TE, Saints (at Falcons)- 4 Points
    3 Catches, 40 Receiving Yards.

  20. Tyler Eifert, TE, Bengals (at Panthers)- 3 Points
    2 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.

  21. Jake Butt, TE, Broncos (at Ravens)- 3 Points
    2 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.

  22. Blake Jarwin, TE, Cowboys (at Seahawks)- 3 Points
    2 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.

  23. Dallas Goedert, TE, Eagles (vs. Colts)- 3 Points
    2 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.

  24. Austin Hooper, TE, Falcons (vs. Saints)- 3 Points
    2 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.

  25. Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE, Jaguars (vs. Titans)- 3 Points
    2 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.

  26. Ian Thomas, TE, Panthers (vs. Bengals)- 3 Points
    2 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.

  27. Gerald Everett, TE, Rams (vs. Chargers)- 3 Points
    2 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.

  28. Ryan Griffin, TE, Texans (vs. Giants)- 3 Points
    2 Catches, 30 Receiving Yards.

  29. Cameron Brate, TE, Bucs (vs. Steelers)- 2 Points
    2 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards.

  30. Neal Sterling, TE, Jets (at Browns)- 2 Points
    2 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards.

  31. Tyler Higbee, TE, Rams (vs. Chargers)- 2 Points
    2 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards.

  32. Mark Andrews, TE, Ravens (vs. Broncos)- 2 Points
    2 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards.

  33. Will Dissly, TE, Seahawks (vs. Cowboys)- 2 Points
    2 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards.

  34. Jonnu Smith, TE, Titans (at Jaguars)- 2 Points
    2 Catches, 20 Receiving Yards.

  35. Tyler Kroft, TE, Bengals (at Panthers)- 1 Points
    1 Catch, 10 Receiving Yards.

  36. Antonio Gates, TE, Chargers (at Rams)- 1 Points
    1 Catch, 10 Receiving Yards.

  37. Geoff Swaim, TE, Cowboys (at Seahawks)- 1 Points
    1 Catch, 10 Receiving Yards.

  38. Luke Willson, TE, Lions (vs. Patriots)- 1 Points
    1 Catch, 10 Receiving Yards.

  39. Dwayne Allen, TE, Patriots (at Lions)- 1 Points
    1 Catch, 10 Receiving Yards.

  40. Jermaine Gresham, TE, Cardinals (vs. Bears)- 0 Points

  41. Virgil Green, TE, Chargers (at Rams)- 0 Points

  42. Greg Olsen, TE, Panthers (vs. Bengals)- 0 Points

    Out for two more months.

  43. Vernon Davis, TE, Redskins (vs. Packers)- 0 Points
