NFL Week 17 Fantasy Quarterback Rankings




To differentiate between all the "Start 'Ems" on my Fantasy Football Start Em, Sit Em page, you can check out the Weekly Fantasy Football Rankings, so you can figure out whom to start between Player X and Player Y.

Below are my fantasy quarterback rankings and a set of links for my positional Weekly NFL Fantasy Football Rankings. Keep in mind that this list is for this week only; not the entire rest of the season.

The rankings are based on a traditional scoring system. Compensate for PPR and touchdown leagues accordingly.


2011 Fantasy Football Weekly Rankings: QB | RB | WR | TE | DEF

  1. Tom Brady, Patriots
    Tom Brady is out to get revenge against the Bills. He's playing for the No. 1 overall seed, and should have a great performance against Buffalo's crap aerial defense.

  2. Cam Newton, Panthers
    Cam Newton may have to deal with the Saints' scrubs for a half if San Francisco is blowing out the Rams.

  3. Philip Rivers, Chargers
    Philip Rivers has a no-pressure situation at Oakland. This is when he performs best.

  4. QB Dog Killer, Eagles
    QB Dog Killer has all of his weapons healthy, and his offensive line is as good as it has been all year. He should have a big game against the Redskins.

  5. Eli Manning, Giants
    Eli Manning threw for 400 yards and two touchdowns the last time he battled the Giants, but he's been in a slump the past two weeks.

  6. Matt Ryan, Falcons
    Matt Ryan has a great matchup against a Tampa team that has quit.

  7. Drew Brees, Saints
    Drew Brees has an easy matchup against Carolina's No. 31 secondary, but the danger is that he may only play a half. If the 49ers are blowing out the Rams (very likely), Brees could be pulled.



  8. Tim Tebow, Broncos
    Romeo Crennel is going to have a great game plan prepared for Tim Tebow. Tebow is still a QB1 though because of his rushing numbers.

  9. Tony Romo, Cowboys
    Tony Romo has a great matchup against the Giants, but there's no guarantee his hand will hold up.

  10. Carson Palmer, Raiders
    Carson Palmer already had Denarius Moore back, and he could get Jacoby Ford and Darren McFadden in the lineup as well. San Diego's defense is awful.

  11. Matthew Stafford, Lions
    The Lions may decide to play for the No. 5 seed so they can avoid going to New Orleans. Then again, Jim Schwartz may decide to rest his starters. This is why it's difficult to be in a league with a Week 17 championship.

  12. Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers
    Ben Roethlisberger had a full practice Wednesday. The Steelers want him to play 25-30 snaps.
