2012 NFL Draft Pro Day Notes:
Greg Childs, WR, Arkansas: Greg Childs had a terrific Pro Day. He improved his 40 time from 4.55 to 4.39, as well as his vertical leap from 36.5 to 40.5.
Danny Coale, WR/P, Virginia Tech: Danny Coale is a pretty intriguing prospect. He caught 60 balls for about 900 yards last season. He ran an impressive 4.37 40 at 6-0, 200 at his Pro Day. He can also punt; he averaged 43 yards per attempt in 2011.
Stephen Hill, WR, Georgia Tech: Stephen Hill didn't run at his Pro Day, but he was outstanding in the drills. Mike Mayock said that there's no way Hill will fall out of the first round.
A.J. Jenkins, WR, Illinois: A.J. Jenkins didn't run at his Pro Day, but he looked good running routes. NFL.com's Gil Brandt called him a third- or a fourth-round prospect.
Rishard Matthews, WR Nevada: Rishard Matthews had a terrific Pro Day. He ran a 4.44 at 6-2, 209, and looked really good in the drills.
Brian Quick, WR, Appalachian State: Brian Quick blew onlookers away at his Pro Day, obtaining a 1.47 10-yard split in his 40 (4.53). He could be the fifth receiver off the board on Draft Day, as he has immense upside and raw talent.
Deonte Thompson, WR, Florida: Deonte Thompson is a great athlete, as you can tell by his numbers. However, he's not a very good football player. He'll be a big project.
Nick Toon, WR, Wisconsin: Nick Toon ran a 4.5 at the Combine, but improved his time to 4.38 at Wisconsin's Pro Day. He also looked really good in the drills. Toon could be selected in the top half of the second round.
Kendall Wright, WR, Baylor: Like Joe Haden a couple of years ago, Kendall Wright turned a bad, fluky Combine 40 into a solid Pro Day time. He dropped two tenths of a second, which isn't very surprising considering how fast he plays on tape.

...I have been a supporter of this site since 2009 and have to agree. It is starting to seem like Walt got a girlfriend or something because even when things are updated, the "Major Changes" to all Rds in the Mocks are just 2 players that switched picks and the writeups are copy/paste from the last Mock. I'm sure this is all very time-comsuming but apparently Charlie Campbell is a major contributor now so you would think the content would be MORE in-depth and fresh, not less. Maybe less time spent on NBA B.S. would help...It is WalterFOOTBALL, right? BUT...what do I know.

walt, what has happened to you!? im saying this as objectively as humanly possible and many others are certain to agree, you just seem not to care as much about this site anymore. in the years past, this would be the ONLY site I needed to go to with for the real football insight the only the true enthusiast could appreciate. even your use of humor and literary devices were expert in their use. I would check this site religiously at least 5 times a day around this time of year because you obviously "get" the game at a deeper level. I should use past tense though because you have clearly lost it. I understand youre probably a lot busier than you used to be but come on, dont forsake the fans that have stood by you for so long, faithfully i might add. this content is laughable now and could barely pass as warm garbage compared to the walter of old.......this is coming from a jags homer and WE ALLLLLLL know how you incessantly bash them.......tighten up WALT!!!!!
