2023 Fantasy Football Rankings – Wide Receivers

Last Updated: September 7

Top 10 | 11-20 | 21-40 | 41-60 | 61-100 |

Other Positions: QB | RB | WR | TE | DraftSharks’ Projections
41. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Seahawks. Bye: 5.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba will begin the year as Seattle’s No. 3 receiver, but he could easily supplant Tyler Lockett as the second option.

Projected 2023 Fantasy Stats: 61 catches. 870 receiving yards. 6 total TDs.
Projected 2023 Fantasy Points: 123.

42. Michael Pittman, WR, Colts. Bye: 11.

Michael Pittman Jr. caught 99 passes last year, thanks to Matt Ryan targeting him heavily. Unfortunately for Pittman, he’ll have to endure rookie struggles from his quarterback next year.

Projected 2023 Fantasy Stats: 80 catches. 930 receiving yards. 5 total TDs.
Projected 2023 Fantasy Points: 123.

43. K.J. Osborn, WR, Vikings. Bye: 13.

K.J. Osborn is a talented receiver who had a monster game during the 33-0 comeback. With Adam Thielen gone, Osborn had a chance for a big season, but the Vikings drafted Jordan Addison.

Projected 2023 Fantasy Stats: 58 catches. 730 receiving yards. 5 total TDs.
Projected 2023 Fantasy Points: 123.

44. Jordan Addison, WR, Vikings. Bye: 13.

Jordan Addison made two terrific catches in his preseason debut. The box score says otherwise – one catch, 22 yards – but an impressive sideline reception of his was nullified by official error. The Vikings could have challenged and easily won, but the coaching staff decided not to do so, likely because they wanted the game to end as quickly as possible. Addison shook it off and made a sliding 22-yard reception on an underthrown pass from Nick Mullens. Addison didn’t do anything after that, but he still looked great in this small sample size.

Projected 2023 Fantasy Stats: 58 catches. 820 receiving yards. 6 total TDs.
Projected 2023 Fantasy Points: 123.

45. Kendrick Bourne, WR, Patriots. Bye: 11.

Joshua Palmer has proven that he can be a big producer when one of Keenan Allen or Mike Williams gets hurt. Unfortunately for Palmer, he’s now behind Quentin Johnson as well.

Projected 2023 Fantasy Stats: 67 catches. 880 receiving yards. 5 total TDs.
Projected 2023 Fantasy Points: 123.

46. Skyy Moore, WR, Chiefs. Bye: 10.

Skyy Moore has been with the first-string offense during every rep in training camp when the Chiefs have run two-receiver sets. Moore was a huge dud in his rookie campaign, but it appears as though he’s ready to be a big producer for Kansas City.

Projected 2023 Fantasy Stats: 62 catches. 830 receiving yards. 5 total TDs.
Projected 2023 Fantasy Points: 123.

47. Tank Dell, WR, Texans. Bye: 7.

Tank Dell had a great NFL preseason debut. He caught five passes for 65 yards and a touchdown. He showed some lightning-fast speed on a 24-yard reception in the second quarter. The score – a bobbled reception on a back-shoulder throw – came from Davis Mills, but Dell started and saw a target from C.J. Stroud. The Texans are desperate for someone to establish themselves as a No. 1 receiver, and Dell, who showed great chemistry with Stroud during the pre-draft process, could be that player.

Projected 2023 Fantasy Stats: 59 catches. 820 receiving yards. 5 total TDs.
Projected 2023 Fantasy Points: 122.

48. Zay Flowers, WR, Ravens. Bye: 13.

Zay Flowers performed well at Boston College despite being surrounded by a lack of talent. He can go the distance whenever he touches the ball.

Projected 2023 Fantasy Stats: 60 catches. 860 receiving yards. 6 total TDs.
Projected 2023 Fantasy Points: 122.

49. Allen Lazard, WR, Jets. Bye: 7.

Allen Lazard is a steady receiver in real life, but doesn’t offer much upside in fantasy.

Projected 2023 Fantasy Stats: 66 catches. 850 receiving yards. 6 total TDs.
Projected 2023 Fantasy Points: 121.

50. Treylon Burks, WR, Titans. Bye: 7.

Treylon Burks has been Ryan Tannehill’s preferred target in workouts thus far. This isn’t a huge development, but it’s a stark difference compared to Burks’ disastrous 2022 offseason. Burks should make a decent jump this season, but remember that the Titans operate a run-first attack.

Projected 2023 Fantasy Stats: 63 catches. 850 receiving yards. 6 total TDs.
Projected 2023 Fantasy Points: 121.

51. Van Jefferson, WR, Rams. Bye: 10.

Van Jefferson has shown that he can be a solid producer with Matthew Stafford as an inconsistent deep threat.

Projected 2023 Fantasy Stats: 50 catches. 810 receiving yards. 5 total TDs.
Projected 2023 Fantasy Points: 121.

52. Marvin Mims, WR, Broncos. Bye: 9.

Tim Patrick missed all of 2022 with a torn ACL. I’ll have more interest in him come 2024.

Projected 2023 Fantasy Stats: 56 catches. 860 receiving yards. 5 total TDs.
Projected 2023 Fantasy Points: 121.

53. Adam Thielen, WR, Panthers. Bye: 7.

Adam Thielen’s production took a hit last year when the Vikings acquired T.J. Hockenson, as the tight end stole some of Thielen’s targets. Thielen is now in Carolina, where he’ll struggle to get open while catching passes from a rookie quarterback.

Projected 2023 Fantasy Stats: 77 catches. 830 receiving yards. 6 total TDs.
Projected 2023 Fantasy Points: 119.

54. Odell Beckham, WR, Ravens. Bye: 13.

Odell Beckham Jr. didn’t play at all last year because of his torn ACL, but he’ll be back this upcoming season. He’ll probably be overdrafted.

Projected 2023 Fantasy Stats: 58 catches. 820 receiving yards. 6 total TDs.
Projected 2023 Fantasy Points: 118.

55. Jameson Williams, WR, Lions. Bye: 9.

Jameson Williams caught a deep pass at the end of the year as Detroit was working him into the offense. He’ll be much better in 2023, though he has been suspended for six games.

Projected 2023 Fantasy Stats: 45 catches. 730 receiving yards. 5 total TDs.
Projected 2023 Fantasy Points: 118.

56. Rashod Bateman, WR, Ravens. Bye: 13.

Rashod Bateman played in only six games last year because of a foot injury. He has now missed extensive time in both of his NFL seasons, so that’s a bit of a concern.

Projected 2023 Fantasy Stats: 60 catches. 820 receiving yards. 6 total TDs.
Projected 2023 Fantasy Points: 118.

57. Jonathan Mingo, WR, Panthers. Bye: 7.

Jonathan Mingo is a big receiver who could be Bryce Young’s No. 1 target right away. He definitely has upside, even as a rookie.

Projected 2023 Fantasy Stats: 57 catches. 770 receiving yards. 5 total TDs.
Projected 2023 Fantasy Points: 117.

58. Quentin Johnston, WR, Chargers. Bye: 5.

Quentin Johnson will begin the year as the third receiver, but given the durability issues with Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, Johnson could see plenty of action as a rookie.

Projected 2023 Fantasy Stats: 56 catches. 760 receiving yards. 5 total TDs.
Projected 2023 Fantasy Points: 116.

59. Jalin Hyatt, WR, Giants. Bye: 13.

Jalin Hyatt is an electric receiver with deep speed ability. He could emerge as the No. 1 wideout on the Giants’ roster.

Projected 2023 Fantasy Stats: 56 catches. 860 receiving yards. 5 total TDs.
Projected 2023 Fantasy Points: 116.

60. Rashid Shaheed, WR, Saints. Bye: 11.

Rashid Shaheed was a dynamic deep threat last year. He’ll have good upside with Derek Carr serving as an upgrade.

Projected 2023 Fantasy Stats: 45 catches. 780 receiving yards. 6 total TDs.
Projected 2023 Fantasy Points: 114.
