Ahmad Black, S, Florida
Height: 5-10. Weight: 184. Projected 40 Time: 4.48. Combine 40 Time: 4.74. Pro Day 40 Time: 4.75. Benchx225: 18. Vertical: 36.5. Arm: 31. Projected Round (2011): 4-6. 3/16/11: Florida has a pretty fast track, so Ahmad Black was hoping to improve upon his dreadful Combine 40. Unfortunately, it just got worse. Black ran a 4.75 at his Pro Day. He also didn't look very good during the drills, prompting Mike Lombardi to state that Black is "going to take a tumble."
Marcus Gilbert, OT, Florida
Height: 6-6. Weight: 330. Projected 40 Time: 5.20. Combine 40 Time: 5.43. Pro Day 40 Time: DNP. Benchx225: 30. Arm: 34. Projected Round (2011): 3-5. 3/16/11: Marcus Gilbert looked great in the drills during his Pro Day. He's a right tackle only, but he has value as a Round 3-4 pick.
Will Hill, FS, Florida
Height: 6-1. Weight: 202. Projected 40 Time: 4.53. Combine 40 Time: 4.63. Pro Day 40 Time: 4.66. Benchx225: . Vertical: 31. Arm: 32. Projected Round (2011): 6-FA. 3/16/11: Like fellow safety Ahmad Black, Will Hill had an awful Pro Day. His 40 was also slower, and he looked stiff in the drills. It's looking like Hill won't be drafted this April.
Mike Pouncey, G, Florida - Scouting Report
Height: 6-5. Weight: 303. Projected 40 Time: 5.23. Combine 40 Time: 5.12. Pro Day 40 Time: DNP. Benchx225: . Arm: 32 1/4. Projected Round (2011): Top 31 Pick. 3/16/11: Mike Pouncey had a good workout at his Pro Day (he didn't run the 40). Pouncey announced that he has meetings set up with the Lions (13), Dolphins (15), Jaguars (16), Patriots (17, 28), Giants (19) and Buccaneers (20).
Justin Trattou, DE/OLB, Florida
Height: 6-4. Weight: 250. Projected 40 Time: 4.80. Combine 40 Time: DNP. Pro Day 40 Time: 4.71. Benchx225: . Vertical: . Arm: . Projected Round (2011): 6-FA. 3/16/11: Justin Trattou didn't run a great 40 at his Pro Day, but his 10-yard split of 1.64 is worth noting. Trattou had 10 TFL last year, but only 1.5 sack. He's a project.
Ryan Kerrigan, DE, Purdue - Scouting Report
Height: 6-4. Weight: 274. Projected 40 Time: 4.82. Combine 40 Time: 4.67. Pro Day 40 Time: DNP. Benchx225: 31. Vertical: 33.5. Arm: 33 3/8. Projected Round (2011): Top 20 Pick. 3/16/11: Ryan Kerrigan stood on his outstanding Combine 40 at his Pro Day, but measured in seven pounds heavier. He's now at 274, so forget about him playing the 3-4. Predictably, Jacksonville defensive line coach Joe Cullen was at Kerrigan's workout.
Pat Devlin, QB, Delaware
Height: 6-3. Weight: 225. Projected 40 Time: 4.84. Combine 40 Time: 4.87. Pro Day 40 Time: . Hand: 9 7/8. Projected Round (2011): 6-FA. 3/16/11: As Emmitt Smith would say, "Pat Devils debacled himselves at his Pro Days." First, Devlin showed up 30 minutes late to his own workout. Next, he was completely inaccurate during his passing drills. Note to all future NFL Draft prospects: Don't go out drinking with JaMarcus Russell the night before your Pro Day.
James Wilson, CB, Montana
Height: 5-11. Weight: 193. Projected 40 Time: DNP. Combine 40 Time: DNP. Pro Day 40 Time: 4.49. Benchx225: 19. Vertical: 35. Arm: . Projected Round (2011): 7-FA. 3/16/11: James Wilson is a talented corner, but spent two years in prison because of a murder charge. He eventually was acquitted, so maybe someone will give him a chance as a UDFA.
am i the only to think Walt's got his J. Williams' confused? Joe Williams, highly talented explosive speedster from Utah retired at the beginning of the season and came back a few games in to have a stellar season. Dont see him anywhere on this list, but would think him worthy of top 10 at least by comparison.
Why is it that you hate the Chargers? Every year you make @#$@ picks for them, it just bad all the way around starting with Hooker at 7. Tom Telesco doesn't draft players who have been at the position only a year, and recently has been straying away from injury prone players as well. I would re-access your thought process on the Chargers.
*MARCH UPDATE* WITH TRADES ** RD 4 NOW ADDED **
RD2,3, & 4 ORDER IS RANDOM for trades that usually happen.
Used draft-site`s approach as a general guide. Really like their ranking system as it uses a hi-low rubric to rank each player. Took several ranking sites and averaged out player rankings. Used my own rankings for players I feel were ranked much too low. Combine results update. F/A updates with a few players still looking for a new home. Will update as they sign with new teams.
Will see teams reach for QB & OT. No big trades announced yet.
