*** This mock draft will be updated at least once per week (Tuesday afternoons and other times for important events.). Check out old versions of this 2015 NFL Mock Draft in the archived mock draft section. Follow @walterfootball for updates. ***

  1. Tennessee Titans: Josue Matias, G, Florida State
The Titans need to protect their new quarterback. There’s been speculation that the disappointing Andy Levitre will be cut this offseason.

    Follow @walterfootball for updates.

  2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Arie Kouandjio, G, Alabama
The Buccaneers may also upgrade the interior of their offensive line. They had major problems blocking last year, so they can’t have that happen again with a rookie quarterback under center.

  3. Oakland Raiders: Denzel Perryman, LB, Miami
Miles Burris is perhaps the worst starting linebacker in the NFL. The Raiders desperately need an upgrade in the middle of their defense, and they’ve been linked to Denzel Perryman.

Pick change; previously Jaelen Strong, WR

  4. Jacksonville Jaguars: Cameron Erving, OT/G/C, Florida State
It’s no secret that the Jaguars need help all over their offensive line. Cameron Erving seems like the perfect pick for them because he can play every position up front.

  5. New York Jets: Byron Jones, CB, Connecticut
I’ve had the Jets taking a quarterback here for some time, but I’ll go in a different direction for now. They could look into a cornerback; how pissed will Rex Ryan be if the Jets finally add some talented corners after completely ignoring the position last offseason, and he’s not there anymore? At least he’ll be able to get revenge twice per year. Go here for my grade for the Bills hiring Rex Ryan.

And yes, Byron Jones could go this early. In fact, he could be chosen in the first round. He already had good tape, so he’s not just a workout warrior. The athleticism he displayed at the NFL Combine could push him into Thursday.

Pick change; previously P.J. Williams, CB

  6. Washington Redskins: Ronald Darby, CB, Florida State
The Redskins obviously need to make multiple upgrades to their woeful secondary. Help is needed at both corner and safety, so Washington can take the best player available at either position.

  7. Chicago Bears: P.J. Williams, CB, Florida State
The Bears need to keep adding defensive help, which includes an upgrade at the cornerback position. Tim Jennings regressed this past season, and he’ll turn 32 at some point during the 2015 campaign.

Pick change; previously Markus Golden, DE/OLB

  8. New York Giants: Shaq Thompson, LB, Washington
The Giants have needed help for their linebacking corps for years. Perhaps this will be the year they finally address the position. Shaq Thompson is overrated; the media has him in the first round, but teams rate him as a second-round prospect. However, he fits the range at this pick.

Pick change; previously Benardrick McKinney, LB

  9. St. Louis Rams: Dorial Green-Beckham, WR, Oklahoma
Brian Quick looked good prior to his injury, and both Kenny Britt and Stedman Bailey have had their moments in the second half of the season, but the Rams lack a true No. 1 receiver, which is something they can obtain with this selection.

  10. Atlanta Falcons: Tevin Coleman, RB, Indiana
I don’t think the Falcons will go out of their way to draft a running back, but they may have to if someone as talented as Tevin Coleman falls to them. Steven Jackson is as good as gone; both Jacquizz Rodgers and Antone Smith are free agents; and Devonta Freeman wasn’t very impressive as a rookie, so the position will need to be addressed.

  11. Cleveland Browns: Sammie Coates, WR, Auburn
Considering the state of the Browns’ receiving corps, I could see them doubling up on the position this April. It doesn’t sound like they’ll use a first-round pick on a wideout, but they’ll take a couple later.

Pick change; previously Jordan Phillips, NT

  12. New Orleans Saints: Benardrick McKinney, LB, Mississippi State
More upgrades for the Saints’ defense. The team needs a major boost in the middle of its stop unit, as Curtis Lofton has been a major disappointment for them.

Pick change; previously Sammie Coates, LB

  13. Minnesota Vikings: Kevin Johnson, CB, Wake Forest
The Vikings could use an early selection on a cornerback so that they have a long-term starter across from Xavier Rhodes.

  14. San Francisco 49ers: Laken Tomlinson, G, Duke
Mike Iupati is an impending free agent, while Alex Boone will be entering his contract year in 2015. The 49ers will be looking for some line help this offseason.

  15. Miami Dolphins: Maxx Williams, TE, Minnesota
Charles Clay is a free agent who will command lots of money on the open market, so the Dolphins will probably have to bring in a new tight end. Maxx Williams didn’t have a strong Combine, but the middle of the second round is the right range for him.

Pick change; previously Mario Edwards, DT

  16. San Diego Chargers: Ellis McCarthy, NT, UCLA
San Diego doesn’t have a quality nose tackle, which would explain why the team was just mediocre against the run.

  17. Kansas City Chiefs: Justin Hardy, WR, East Carolina
It’s amazing that the Chiefs went the entire year without having any of their receivers score a single touchdown. Alex Smith was partly to blame, but the receiving corps was just abysmal.

Pick change; previously Jeremiah Poutasi, OT

  18. Buffalo Bills: Garrett Grayson, QB, Colorado State
The Bills need to do something about the quarterback situation. They can’t really go into the 2015 season with E.J. Manuel as their starter, so their only option might be this selection.

  19. Houston Texans: Phillip Dorsett, WR, Miami
It’s unknown how much longer Andre Johnson will last, but the Texans could look into adding a future No. 2 wideout across from DeAndre Hopkins. Phillip Dorsett has moved up an entire round after a tremendous Senior Bowl. He also looked good at the NFL Combine.

  20. Philadelphia Eagles: Brett Hundley, QB, UCLA
There’s speculation that the Eagles will move up for Marcus Mariota, but we’ve reported that they also have a strong interest in Brett Hundley. There’s no question that Hundley is a far-inferior prospect, but Philadelphia at least won’t have to mortgage its entire future just to land the UCLA product.

  21. Cincinnati Bengals: Carl Davis, DT, Iowa
Domata Peko has not played well this year, so the Bengals may want to consider finding some help for the interior of their defensive line.

  22. Detroit Lions: Ameer Abdullah, RB, Nebraska
Reggie Bush won’t be around much longer, so the Lions will need to find someone to split the load with Joique Bell.

  23. Arizona Cardinals: Marcus Peters, CB, Washington
Marcus Peters was dismissed from the team this past season. The Cardinals have taken chances on troubled players before, so perhaps they’d give Peters a shot. Peters, who has top-15 talent, could fill in for Antonio Cromartie if the stud corner isn’t re-signed. As you can see in our NFL Free Agent Rumors page, Cromartie has expressed a desire to go back to the Jets.

  24. Pittsburgh Steelers: Alex Carter, CB, Stanford
Cortez Allen was so bad against the Colts that he was actually trending on Twitter. Ike Taylor, meanwhile, was miserable in his return from injury. The Steelers are in desperate need of help at the cornerback position, and they’re getting a prospect who fits their scheme well.

  25. Carolina Panthers: Nelson Agholor, WR, USC
The Panthers likely will select the top available player from the tackle or receiver position in the first few rounds. Those are their two big areas of need. They have to find someone to draw attention away from Kelvin Benjamin.

Pick change; previously Rashad Greene, WR

  26. Baltimore Ravens: Owamagbe Odighizuwa, DE/OLB, UCLA
Many peg Baltimore to pursue a receiver or a cornerback with their top selections. An edge rusher shouldn’t be dismissed, however. Pernell McPhee will be gone as soon as free agency begins, while Terrell Suggs and Elvis Dumervil will begin slowing down soon, as both are now into their 30s.

Pick change; previously Jalen Collins, CB

  27. Denver Broncos: Paul Dawson, LB, TCU
Paul Dawson didn’t have a strong Combine, so he could find himself going at the end of the second round, or even the third frame. The Broncos wouldn’t mind if he fell, as they need some inside linebackers for their new 3-4.

Pick change; previously A.J. Cann, G

  28. Dallas Cowboys: Mario Edwards, DE/DT, Florida State
Dallas’ defense was much better than anyone anticipated, but it was exposed during a stretch during the latter part of the season. There are still some weaknesses that need to be addressed – particularly in the interior of the defensive line, where Nick Hayden needs to be upgraded.

Pick change; previously Devin Funchess, TE

  29. Indianapolis Colts: Quinten Rollins, CB, Miami of Ohio
Greg Toler performed well in the playoffs, but the Colts could use a better No. 2 corner. Quinten Rollins is another player whose stock is rising.

  30. Green Bay Packers: Cedric Ogbuhei, OT, Texas A&M
The Packers could be looking at right tackles with Bryan Bulaga heading into free agency. Cedric Ogbuhei would fit; he was a late first-round prospect prior to tearing his ACL.

Pick change; previously Nate Orchard, DE/OLB

  31. Seattle Seahawks: Devin Funchess, TE, Michigan
Here’s another weapon for Russell Wilson. The Seahawks tried to acquire Jordan Cameron during the season, so they’re definitely interested in upgrading the tight end position. I’ve always listed Devin Funchess as a tight end; he was never a receiver prospect because he couldn’t separate.

  32. New England Patriots: Michael Bennett, DT, Ohio State
There currently isn’t a huge need for a defensive tackle, but Vince Wilfork, Chris Jones and Sealver Siliga will all be heading into their contract years by the 2016 season, so this is a selection for the future.
