  1. Jacksonville Jaguars: Dan Voltz, C, Wisconsin
The Jaguars signed Stefen Wisniewski, but that was just to a 1-year deal, so they may need a new center after this season. Wisniewski has played well though, so he could be re-signed.

    Follow @walterfootball for updates.

  2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Kendall Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech
Here’s some more help for Tampa’s anemic defense. Both Alterraun Verner and Johnthan Banks were terrible against Marcus Mariota. At least one – probably Verner – will need to be upgraded this offseason. The Buccaneers are getting a bargain here, as Kendall Fuller has dropped because of his season-ending injury.

  3. Kansas City Chiefs: Jerald Hawkins, OT, LSU
Like the Jaguars, Kansas City could be moving on from its 2013 first-round choice. Eric Fisher not only has been terrible; he’s been a wuss as well, failing to play through simple injuries.

Pick change; previously Cody Whitehair, G

  4. Chicago Bears: Tyler Johnstone, OT, Oregon
The Bears drafted a center, but they need more than just one upgrade on their horrific offensive line. They need to move Kyle Long back to guard, so why not another blocking Duck who can make that happen?

  5. Houston Texans: Christian Hackenberg, QB, Penn State
Three games shouldn’t drop a prospect a whole round, but my premise behind slotting Christian Hackenberg in the top five was that he would go that high if he put together a strong 2015 campaign. It doesn’t look like that’s going to happen now, so it’s realistic could drop to the second day. If so, I’m sure the Texans would take a chance on him, given that Bill O’Brien got the most out of him when he was at Penn State.

  6. Detroit Lions: Maliek Collins, DT, Nebraska
The Lions never properly replaced Ndamukong Suh and the other defensive tackles they lost this past season, so they’ll have to put forth effort into doing so next spring.

Pick change; previously Anthony Zettel, DE/DT

  7. San Francisco 49ers: Chris Jones, DE/DT, Mississippi State
The 49ers have no pass rush (except for the Green Bay game) with Justin Smith and Ray McDonald gone. That needs to change.

  8. New Orleans Saints: O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama
Here’s more much-needed help for Drew Brees. The Saints are still having issues in the red zone, so it’s time to bring in a talented tight end who can stay healthy and be positive in the locker room.

  9. Tennessee Titans: Darian Thompson, S, Boise State
The Titans need to address their woeful secondary early in the 2016 NFL Draft. They need help at both cornerback and safety, so picking the top defensive back available at this juncture makes sense.

  10. Miami Dolphins: Cameron Sutton, CB, Tennessee
The Dolphins have a disappointing defensive line, but their main issue on defense is their secondary, which has holes at both cornerback and safety.

  11. Cleveland Browns: William Fuller, WR, Notre Dame
The Browns have to use an early-round pick on a receiver eventually, right? They can’t keep going with retreads.

  12. Oakland Raiders: Derrick Henry, RB, Alabama
I’m not sure if Jack Del Rio was thinking about surfing while doing so, but he benched Latavius Murray for the second time against the Broncos. He may want a new running back.

Pick change; previously Maliek Collins, DT

  13. Dallas Cowboys: Alex Collins, RB, Arkansas
Joseph Randle, Darren McFadden, Christine Michael… These are the guys who are supposed to replace DeMarco Murray? Despite how great Dallas’ offensive line is, it’s hard to imagine those three having great success.

  14. St. Louis Rams: Su’a Cravens, S, USC
The Rams will have some contract issues at safety next offseason, with Rodney McLeod and Mark Barron both set to hit the market.

  15. Baltimore Ravens: Travin Duval, WR, LSU
Steve Smith announced that this will be his final season, so the Ravens will need a new starting receiver to go along with Breshad Perriman.

  16. St. Louis Rams: Josh Doctson, WR, TCU
On top of improved blocking, the Rams need to find a legitimate No. 1 receiver for Nick Foles to work with. Relying on Kenny Britt is just insane.

Pick change; previously Spencer Drango, OT

  17. Washington Redskins: Vonn Bell, S, Ohio State
Here’s more help for Washington’s secondary. The team is actually weaker at safety, so both positions definitely need to be addressed.

Pick change; previously Tre’Davious White, CB

  18. San Diego Chargers: Jack Allen, C, Michigan State
The Chargers said goodbye to Nick Hardwick this offseason. They’ve tried Chris Watt out as a replacement, but because he’s a natural guard at the center position, he’s been woeful thus far in 2015. Here’s a solution if he doesn’t improve.

  19. Pittsburgh Steelers: Desmond King, CB, Iowa
The Steelers almost have to make this pick, don’t they? The front office has avoided upgrading the cornerback position in the first round for quite some time now, but that could change, given how dreadful the defense looked in the season opener versus Tom Brady.

Pick change; previously Vonn Bell, S

  20. Minnesota Vikings: Cody Whitehair, G, Kansas State
T.J. Clemmings might be Minnesota’s left tackle of the future, but the front office will have to look for a long-term left guard as well.

Pick change; previously Greg Pyke, G

  21. Indianapolis Colts: Max Tuerk, C, USC
Max Tuerk drops because of his knee injury, but I’m sure the Colts would be happy to scoop him up in an effort to improve their abysmal offensive line.

Pick change; previously Desmond King, CB

  22. New York Jets: Jordan Jenkins, DE/OLB, Georgia
Another linebacker for the Jets – this time, one who can rush the quarterback from the exterior, which is something New York has had issues with in the past few years.

  23. Carolina Panthers: Rashard Higgins, WR, Colorado State
It’s no secret that the Panthers need some help in their receiving corps. The unit will be better if Devin Funchess becomes a solid starter across from Kelvin Benjamin, but Carolina doesn’t have much else at the position.

  24. New York Giants: Devontae Booker, RB, Utah
The Giants can’t run the ball very effectively. Rashad Jennings looks done as a result of all of his past injuries, while Andre Williams is nothing but a plodder. Here’s a better option to go along with Shane Vereen.

Pick change; previously Derrick Henry, RB

  25. Buffalo Bills: Germain Ifedi, OT/G, Texas A&M
Richie Incognito has been much better than expected. In fact, his fantastic 2015 campaign (at least thus far) could lead to him getting a decent contract offer this offseason. If he leaves Buffalo, the team will need to find another guard.

Pick change; previously Josh Doctson, WR

  26. Denver Broncos: Hunter Henry, TE, Arkansas
Owen Daniels has been a failure thus far, though it’s hard to blame him because Peyton Manning is having a terrible season. The Broncos could use a better tight end to properly replace Julius Thomas.

Pick change; previously KeiVarae Russell, CB

  27. Atlanta Falcons: Nick Martin, C, Notre Dame
Atlanta has a weak interior offensive line that could be exposed in more difficult matchups, so using a first-round pick on a center isn’t the worst idea in the world.

Pick change; previously Kendall Beckwith, ILB

  28. Seattle Seahawks: Kyle Murphy, OT, Stanford
Seattle’s offensive line is an abomination. The most glaring weakness is at right tackle, where, in St. Louis, Garry Gilliam may have had the worst performances from an offensive lineman I’ve ever seen. I’d call him a turnstile, but that would be offensive to turnstiles.

  29. Arizona Cardinals: Anthony Zettel, DE/DT, Penn State
Calais Campbell will turn 30 next season, so his time in Arizona will soon expire. The Cardinals need a successor for him and someone to start up front with him in the meantime.

Pick change; previously Cody Kessler, QB

  30. Cincinnati Bengals: Andrew Billings, DT, Baylor
The Bengals spent their first two selections on offensive tackles when tackles of the defensive variety would’ve made more sense. Here’s someone Cincinnati could consider in the 2016 NFL Draft.

  31. New England Patriots: KeiVarae Russell, CB, Notre Dame
Perhaps Bill Belichick will use a second-round pick next year on an actual need, rather than a late-round safety. I don’t get how New England failed to find replacements for Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner.

Pick change; previously Will Redmond, CB

  32. Green Bay Packers: Kendell Beckwith, LB, LSU
Chip Kelly took the preseason way too seriously, but perhaps it was a blessing in disguise for the Packers, as linebacker Sam Barrington was exposed as a huge liability in the interior of their defense. That will need to be addressed.

Pick change; previously Reggie Ragland, ILB
