Oakland Raiders: Will Grier, QB, West Virginia
There have been rumors about the Raider players being unhappy about Derek Carr. As an NFL Hall of Fame running back once said, “Where there’s smoke, there’s mirrors.” Here’s a new quarterback Jon Gruden can develop.

San Francisco 49ers: Amani Oruwariye, CB, Penn State
The 49ers have an atrocious secondary that they desperately need to address, given that they have to go up against Russell Wilson and Jared Goff twice per year.

Amani Oruwariye is a big cornerback (6-1, 203) who possesses some quickness. Long speed is a question mark, but if he shows well at the combine, he could be a first-round pick.

Arizona Cardinals: Jonah Williams, OT, Alabama
The Cardinals need to protect Josh Rosen, so they should strongly consider an offensive lineman to start Round 2. Right tackle is perhaps the biggest hole up front.

Jonah Williams had a great freshman year as Alabama’s right tackle. He’s now manning the blind side with Cam Robinson gone.

Indianapolis Colts: Damien Harris, RB, Alabama
The Colts have a bunch of sub-par running backs who share carries, though Marlon Mack has looked good at times. Here’s their chance to secure a true lead back if Mack proves to be inconsistent.

Damien Harris is a well-rounded running back. One source Charlie Campbell spoke to said Harris reminds him of Doug Martin.

Atlanta Falcons: Jalen Jelks, DE, Oregon
Here’s more help for Atlanta’s front. Vic Beasley has been a huge disappointment recently, so if he doesn’t improve, there might be consideration to replace him.

Jalen Jelks will need to add some weight if he wants to play in a 4-3, but he has the potential to be versatile enough to fit any scheme.

New York Giants: Chris Lindstrom, G, Boston College
The Giants need to address the right side of their offensive line, both at guard and tackle.

Chris Lindstrom is solid in all aspects and has more athleticism than meets the eye.

Buffalo Bills: Marquise Brown, WR, Oklahoma
Kelvin Benjamin is finally gone, so the Bills need to focus on finding a No. 1 receiver for Josh Allen.

Marquise Brown is a small receiver (5-11, 162), but he can bolt for the end zone any time he gets his hands on the ball.

Jacksonville Jaguars: N’Keal Harry, WR, Arizona State
The Jaguars need to give their new franchise quarterback a No. 1 receiver to throw to, as they currently don’t have any potent downfield threats.

A 6-3 wide receiver with good speed, N’Keal Harry has the potential to become a first-round prospect. However, there are questions about his explosiveness, as sources Charlie Campbell spoke to compared him to Laquon Treadwell or Devin Funchess.

Detroit Lions: Brian Burns, DE/OLB, Florida State
The Lions don’t really have much of an edge threat outside of Ziggy Ansah, who barely plays. They’ll need to upgrade this area during the 2019 offseason.

Brian Burns needs to bulk up quite a bit, as he played at 220 pounds as a freshman, but he has a long frame, so he has the potential to fill out. He had 9.5 sacks as a freshman.

Cleveland Browns: Kelvin Harmon, WR, N.C. State
It was apparent in the loss to the Chargers that Baker Mayfield has no wide receivers to throw to besides Jarvis Landry. That must change starting next offseason.

Kelvin Harmon is a good route-runner who has made some clutch catches. He could be a No. 2 possession receiver in the pros.
Green Bay Packers: Jerry Tillery, DE/DT, Notre Dame
Muhammad Wilkerson played well for the Packers in two-and-a-half games, but he’s out for the season, and he signed just a 1-year contract anyway. A replacement will be needed if he leaves.

Jerry Tillery is in the process of having a terrific season. If the defensive tackle class wasn’t so strong, he’d go much higher.

Cincinnati Bengals: Andre Dillard, OT, Washington State
The Bengals made some upgrades to their offensive line, but their blocking still isn’t very good. More blockers are needed to bolster their front.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, S, Florida
Buccaneer fans really wanted Derwin James in the 2018 NFL Draft. It turns out that they knew more about the draft than the team’s own general manager, which is sad. Perhaps Tampa can finally find an upgrade at safety at this juncture.

Chauncey Garnder-Johnson played nickel for the Gators last year, but has taken on a larger role. He’s a great athlete and possesses terrific upside as a dynamic safety.

Indianapolis Colts: Collin Johnson, WR, Texas
The Colts have dropped 19 total passes in the three games prior to T.Y. Hilton’s return from injury, so it’s clearer than ever that they need another talented receiver to go along with Hilton.

Collin Johnson has great upside and athleticism for someone with his frame (6-6, 212), but caught only 28 passes as a freshman. He’s taken a big step this season.
Washington Redskins: J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, WR, Stanford
The Redskins lack receiving talent, so that’ll need to change if they want their rookie quarterback to succeed.

J.J. Arcega-Whiteside has speed concerns, but he’s a mismatch receiver with great size (6-3, 225).

Carolina Panthers: Elgton Jenkins, C, Mississippi State
Ryan Kalil said he’s going to retire after this season, so here’s a replacement for him.

Excellent as both a run blocker and a pass protector, Elgton Jenkins has the athleticism and talent to be chosen in the second round.
Tennessee Titans: Noah Fant, TE, Iowa
Jonnu Smith hasn’t developed into a viable successor for Delanie Walker. Here’s another new weapon for Marcus Mariota.

Noah Fant is an athletic marvel, notching a 41-inch vertical in spring testing. He needs to improve his blocking, but his receiving ability should allow him to be a first- or second-round pick.
Denver Broncos: Germaine Pratt, LB, N.C. State
The Broncos have needed an upgrade at inside linebacker for a long time. They’ve been weak there since Danny Trevathan departed following the Super Bowl victory. Fortunately for them, there are a couple of studs at the position available in this class.

Germaine Pratt has good vision for a linebacker and can defend the run well. He’s a former safety.
Philadelphia Eagles: Jamel Dean, CB, Auburn
The Eagles desperately need to improve their secondary, as they’ve surrendered big passing performances to nearly every quarterback they’ve played thus far in 2018.

Jamel Dean has great size (6-2, 208) and tremendous potential.

Miami Dolphins: Erik McCoy, C, Texas A&M
The Dolphins couldn’t block whatsoever against the Patriots. They’ll need to repair multiple spots on their offensive line, including center.

Erik McCoy is an athletic center who is having a great year. He should be selected at some point on Day 2.
Minnesota Vikings: Joe Jackson, DE, Miami
I wonder if the Vikings will pursue an edge rusher during the second day of the draft, just in case Everson Griffen’s career is cut short by his mental issues.

Joe Jackson has enjoyed a strong 2017 campaign for Miami, using his speed off the edge to put lots of pressure on opposing passers.

Philadelphia Eagles: Justice Hill, RB, Oklahoma State
The Eagles were going to consider Sony Michel last April before the Patriots took him one pick earlier. With Jay Ajayi hitting free agency, Philadelphia will likely target a running back on Day 2.

Scouts like Justice Hill’s speed and acceleration to the second level.

Dallas Cowboys: Johnathan Abram, S, Mississippi State
The Cowboys have a great defense, but their secondary is a weakness outside of Byron Jones. They’ve been trying to trade for Earl Thomas, so if they can’t get a deal done, here’s the safety upgrade they need.

Johnathan Abram is a forceful, physical run defender who has good coverage skills.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Troy Dye, LB, Oregon
The Steelers didn’t replace Ryan Shazier last offseason. I have to imagine that they’ll finally do so this spring.

Troy Dye is a very athletic tackle with great coverage skills.

Houston Texans: Bryce Love, RB, Stanford
The Texans’ coaching staff doesn’t trust Lamar Miller to stay healthy, so they may select someone to complement D’Onta Foreman.

Bryce Love has a great mix of balance, underrated strength, vision and home-run ability.

New England Patriots: Clayton Thorson, QB, Northwestern
The Patriots have traded all of their potential successors for Tom Brady, so they’ll need to find a new one.

Clayton Thorson is an underrated prospect because of his dreadful supporting cast. He has plus mechanics, and he can make any pass, fitting throws into tight windows. He has a nice arm, and he’s also smart and athletic. He could be a second-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Los Angeles Chargers: Vosean Joseph, LB, Florida
It sounded like the Chargers were going to take Leighton Vander Esch had Derwin James not fallen to them in the 2018 NFL Draft. Here’s the help at linebacker they were looking for.

Vosean Joseph is a very instinctive and fast linebacker.
Houston Texans: Dalton Risner, OT, Kansas State
Here’s another much-needed upgrade for the Texans’ offensive line, as they really need to do a better job of protecting Deshaun Watson.

Dalton Risner had problems with speed rushers on the edge, but has improved his play in 2018.
New England Patriots: Tre Lamar, LB, Clemson
The Patriots have been incredibly weak at linebacker over the years aside from Dont’a Hightower. This is an area they’ll need to address soon.

Tre Lamar missed a chunk of the 2017 season with injuries, but he projects as a potential early-round pick because of his length, speed and upside.

New Orleans Saints: Julian Love, CB, Notre Dame
The Saints acquired Eli Apple, which is looking like a huge mistake. The Saints need a new No. 2 cornerback.

Julian Love is only 5-10, but he has great instincts and ball skills.

Pick change; previously Lil’Jordan Humphrey, WR
Kansas City Chiefs: D’Andre Walker, LB, Georgia
The Chiefs need to continue to upgrade their stop unit, and they deseprately need to bolster the middle of their defense.

D’Andre Walker is a good run defender who is decent in coverage. He was all over the place in the SEC Championship.

Kansas City Chiefs: Juan Thornhill, S, Virginia
The Chiefs tried to trade for Earl Thomas, but couldn’t get the deal done before he got hurt. Here’s a new safety if they can’t sign Thomas next offseason.

Juan Thornhill is a sound tackler and covers very well.
